Actually each Narnia movie will determine whether or not the next one gets made. Except for the last one of course.

VDT just has to do well enough to make The Silver Chair. But I think that if the movie is as good as the book, it will definitely finish in the top 10 worldwide and in the USA.

Exactly. These things kinds of genre trends tend to cycle through. 2010 is definitly the year for fantasy. Plus Narnia has an additonal advantage: they went back to the tried and true Christmas time release scedule that proved to work for LWW, and Lord of the Rings.
