I always imagined it as a rather ordinary brick mansion covered in ivy, and it was only the inside that looked mysterious and magical. That way you wouldn't suspect the magic until you went inside--a sort of surprise. I really like that idea. But I'm not going to worry about it. Even if the house doesn't look like I expected, it is still quite beautiful and magical-looking. (I'll miss those ivy-covered bricks, though.)
