Other Reactions to Dawn Treader Footage

In the past couple weeks since Tirian reported on The Voyage of the Dawn Treader footage he saw out in LA, there have been a few other reactions appearing on various blogs and websites from people who saw the same footage.

Alanis Morissette Performs “Wunderkind” at Olympics Closing Ceremony

The 2010 Winter Olympics closing ceremony was last night, and as part of the ceremony, there were performances from native Canadians. One of these performances came from Alanis Morissette who sang “Wunderkind”, the same song found in the closing credits of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Facebook Fan Pages for VDT Cast Members

Narnianos.com has discovered two public Facebook Fan Pages we thought might be of interest to everybody. The first page is for Zach Kibria who plays a Dawn Treader sailor and can be found here. The second page is for Tony Nixon who plays Rynelf and can be found here.
Both contain new pictures from filming on the set of The Voyage of the Dawn Treader and are pretty fun to check out.

Narnia Survey Project

Shane Rangi Talks Motion Capture

The New Zealand Herald interviewed Shane Rangi this past week about his motion capture and stunt work on several movies he’s been involved with. There are a couple little snippets about The Voyage of the Dawn Treader and Prince Caspian. If you’re into the technical side of things, you can check out the interview here. Shane has played many characters for the Narnia movies, including three different minotaurs, the bear in PC that attacks Lucy, and the Wer-wolf.

A Few Minor Dawn Treader IMDb Cast Updates

There are two minor updates to the IMDb page for The Voyage of the Dawn Treader to report. First, a page has been created for Arabella Morton (who plays Gael) that includes more pictures of the young actress. Second, Dufflepud 2 has been added to the cast list and will be played by Neil Young.

Exhibit Run in Houston Extended

Eilonwy19 sent a spy report in saying that the Narnia Exhibition run in Houston, TX has been extended through April 25 due to popular demand. You can check out the Houston Museum of Natural Science’s website for exhibit details here. The exhibit was initially scheduled to move on at the end of January.
