For all the debate and discussion and criticism of the marketing campaign for VDT so far, this is the COOLEST thing that Fox and Walden have done so far. Operation Narnia is truly in the spirit of Narnia and Lewis and I'm so excited about this. I personally have never done Operation Christmas Child before but I'm going to have to this year. :D

Wow!!! That is so neat! Thanks for the link, Libby. I'm so glad Fox and Walden Media are doing this. I'll have to donate some Narnia toys. :ymblushing:

Did anyone else notice that the official rules state that entries for the drawing are only eligible starting tomorrow? I wonder if it's a typo on their part; why launch the website and not start accepting entries?

This is movie marketing at its finest. Thank you Fox and Walden for backing a worthwhile project like Operation Christmas Child.

Very cool. Operation Christmas Child is a great cause. The marketing so far has fairly earned some criticism, but Operation Narnia is definitely an excellent move. I don't participate every year, but the years I have it was very rewarding.

One thing that popped out at me in the video was the mention of LWW. It makes perfect sense to tie in the "always winter, never Christmas" with OCC, but it's also a way to subtly point back to the first movie while reminding the viewer of VDT.

It's a movie with British actors and director, premiering in the UK and filmed in Australia, and the contest is only open to Americans? :((

Oh well. Good luck to you all :D

There are some American and Australian actors too but I understand what you mean.

Operation Narnia sounds like a very worth-while endeavour. Georgie seems to have really matured. She's becoming a young woman.

Also kiddies the rules say that you must be 18 years or older to sign up for the London Premiere trip! ;)

Our family has always been involved with Samaritan's purse. The fact that it's now connected with Narnia is great news! I'll be packing extra shoeboxes this year ;)
