I have strong feelings about RD not getting a name for the movie though I would let it slide if they failed to give her a name. After all she wasn't given a name in the books
which kind of irks me if you couldn't tell. I am not a huge feminist or anything but I don't see where having a woman refered to by which man has her makes her mysterious. I mean come on. Ramandu's Daughter? Caspian's Wife? Rilian's Mother? Or you could refer to her by her occupation. The Queen. This does not make her feel more mysterious to me. It makes her hard to connect to as a character. It makes her seem distant and like a random add in that who is just here so Caspian could have an heir, and I do hope they expand her character a little more than was in the book.
I realize that's just my opinion and I am a little crazy sometimes. It does seem beautiful and majestic and mysterious to a lot of people that RD doesn't get a name. But realistically, unless they are extremely talented it's going to be hard to make it sound good to the adverage movie goer who has not read the books and would like to know the name of Caspian's new queen.
Even if they pulled it off during the movie how will they pull if off in the credits? Call us crazy, but me and my sister have been known to have a really good time making fun of credits, especially the names they assign to unnamed characters "Geeky Boy"
There's not really a way I can think of that they can name RD in the credits and not make it sound kinda stupid imho.
