The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe received top accolades at the 14th Annual Movieguide Faith & Values Awards, held in the Grand Ballroom of the Beverly Hilton Hotel on March 2.

The event, which is also jokingly known as “The Christian Oscars,” was held just days before the 78th Annual Academy Awards in Hollywood and attracted more than 150 celebrities, Hollywood executives, producers, writers, and directors and their guests.

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe was dubbed “Most Inspiring Movie of 2005”. It was also chosen as “Best Family Movie of 2005,” followed by nine other movies.

Narnia also got a mention in the “Most Inspiring TV Program of 2005” category, where an excellent documentary entitled “Beyond Narnia: C.S. Lewis” received a nomination.
