An Update on the Weta Exhibition in Leeds

NarniaWebber Jints forwarded us an email that she got in response to her report on the Weta exhibition in Leeds. It says "Richard Taylor (will) be here at the Museum on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 October and will be giving 2 different talks. Saturday’s is on the making of Middle-earth and Sunday’s is Cyclops and Centaurs: Crafting the Chronicles of Narnia. Talks cost £10 per person and start at 11am til 1pm-ish. If you’d like tickets please visit www.wonderfulworldofweta.co.uk. Peter Lyons will be with us on the 6th, 7th, 13th, 14th, 20th, & 21st of September and will be giving talks every day (12-1pm, Free) on his work as a swordsmith with Weta and examining some of the iconic pieces from the exhibition. Yeah! Finally first comment! :P Anyway. That sounds really neat! I would love to hear the talks, especially the one on middle-earth. But I live in America. Hopefully some Narniawebbers can go and give us a report!

Who cares about Peter Lyons, unless he was with LotR : )but Richard Taylor? That is SO cool! Aw... to bad I have no chance to go! It'd be so sweet. I'd go to the Middle-Earth one... BIG time!!! : ) I'd skip the cyclops. From where the Willows weep ~Ithilwen~

I'd go to both the talks by Richard Taylor, except for the fact I'd have to travel halfway around the world in the process...

The exibition is so cool Ive been and it has Narnia things, lord of the rings, king kong and the last samoria. (sam-or-eye)
