LWW Blu-ray Video Clips on IMDB

Back in April and May, 55 videos were uploaded onto IMDb to promote The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe Blu-ray. These videos include several clips from the movie, some deleted scenes, and clips from the bonus features on the Blu-ray. You can check out the videos on IMDb here. Thanks to narniafanatic for the heads up!

Why do we need Blu Ray clips if the movie is out already? Perhaps it compares hi-def vs. 'regular'. But regular is good enough for me. I don't want to have to buy Blu Ray LotR extended versions! There's no way I would go back to watching theatrical. But is Blu Ray really better guys?! From where the Willows weep ~Ithilwen~

You have a point, Pepper Darcy. I mean, what's the use of showing material if we already sw it more than a thousand times on DVD? I will not watch it on Blu Ray either. I'm not getting a new machine to hook up to the TV JUST the watch LWW in HD! That's just sick! There are starving people in other countries with no money, and we are spending hundreds on some machine that makes some better picture. WHERE'S THE SANITY IN THAT?????

Cause a lot of people don't have the Blu-ray disc. Myself included. And I don't think I'm alone in that. :P

I agree with you to a point, #2. There ARE better uses to put our money into, but I don't think there is any harm in a Blu Ray. However, I am not gonna buy a Blu Ray unless they stop making DVDs. And i hope that day will not come too soon!!

The Battle for Narnia game seems interesting. It's too bad that it's not on the regular discs because I don't own the Blu-ray version. I agree that Blu-ray is not really necessary to invest in until it is the only option. Personally I don't really like Blu-ray at all because the pictures turn out strangely colored and unnaturally bright.

I'd personally love to see LWW in high def, but I'm with fantasia_kitty, I have no Blu-Ray. :'( Maybe it'll come on some high-def channel sometime. Anyway, we probably won't get a Blu-Ray until they come down in price anyway. Until then, DVD's still good enough for me :)

"There are no related videos available from IMDb." The link is DEAD!!! As for why you would want Blu-Ray; Once you've seen and heard the difference you won't ever go back to DVD, trust me. The only DVD i'll be buying now is the PC single disc and 3-disc set, and that's just because i'm a collector. Other than that, i stopped buying DVDs months ago. It's all blu from now on. Quinlin; IMO, colours are definitely more vibrant and natural looking on Blu-Ray than on DVD. More space = more colour info. (Why do your eyes hurt? You've never used them before...)

I also will not be buying a blu-ray until DVD's can no longer be bought. I'm not saying it wouldn't be cool to see one of my favorite movies in clear definition, but I just don't think it's worth that much money.
