A new behind-the-scenes look at The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, titled “The Epic Continues,” is online at the Switzerland Facebook page. It includes interviews with the cast and crew (including a brief appearance by Andrew Adamson) and lots of new footage!

You can watch it here or on YouTube:

This is the first behind-the-scenes video Fox has released. Disney released six or seven leading up to the release of “Wardrobe,” and a few for “Caspian” as well.

    THis is just… overwhelming! 😀

  2. Louloudi the Centaur says:

Cool! I think the girls will be awesome in the movie, jojining the big strong men in fighting for Narnia.

  3. McGunn says:

I know, I just saw it on Narniafans. It's somewhat funny to hear Will's voice before it broke, but I'm glad they managed to complete the film before it happened…

  4. Daniel James says:

I uploaded it to Youtube at http://goo.gl/5Yia8 , and I have screenshots at http://goo.gl/7vtuA.

  5. glumPuddle says:

Nice surprise to see Adamson pop up.

  6. Daniel James says:

Yeah, when I saw it a couple of hours ago, I was like, "It's AA!!!" when he popped up.

  7. Not Of This World says:

Now that was cool. I can't wait for Dec 10! Happy Turky Day everybody!

  8. Daniel James says:

I uploaded it to Youtube at goo.gl/5Yia8 , and I have screenshots at goo.gl/7vtuA.

  9. Daniel James says:

Correction: This is actually from Switzerland's VDT facebook page, not Germany's.

  10. glumPuddle says:

I want that model of the Dawn Treader behind Apted.

  11. Bother Eustace says:

Yup, kinda nostalgic to see a behind-the-scenes video with him in it. 😉 And he's really workin' that hat. =P

  12. Bother Eustace says:

    Me too!

  13. LL says:

I never thought they'd keep releasing this much stuff!!!

  14. glumPuddle says:

They say they want to return to the magic of LWW like three times, haha.

  15. The Archenlander says:

I SAID THE SAME THING!!!!! IT LOOKS AMAZING!!!!

  16. Starlily says:

That would be incredibly cool. 😮

  17. glumPuddle says:

    Oops! Thank you.

  18. Starlily says:

The new footage looks good! Very exciting! Some people will disagree, but I like the Minotaur getting more lines and being a bigger part of the film (I know, blasphemy–sorry). It was funny when Adamson showed up and I was like, "Whoa, it's him! I haven't seen him in ages!" It's nice that he's still involved.

I wonder how much behind-the-scenes stuff will be on the DVD? I hope it's more than this. 🙂

  19. Starlily says:

Oh, and Happy Thanksgiving! 😀 I just love this day!!!

  20. wolfloversk says:

Me three! They should sell replicas!

  21. Daniel James says:

Yeah, it was my fault, this morning at like 6 when I sent it in, I thought the facebook page was in German (rather than in Swedish) because the person that referred me to it is from Germany.

One question (for anyone): How do you make an avatar for these comments?

  22. Reepicheep says:

That's what I thought when I watched it! Love the new footage!

  23. EnnaGirl says:

hmmmm…. I wonder if they are trying to make a point… I wonder. LOL

  24. Lady_Liln says:

    Same here! 😛

  25. WarriorOfNarnia says:

I just, just heard on the radio, a commercial for the Dawn Treader!!!! I heard Caspian, Lucy, and ASLAN!!! And a overheard speaker of course! The music was AWESOME!!

  26. Mina says:

Did Caspian Aladdin-style jump out of a window? Well I'm glad they're trying to capture the "magic" of LWW. I like the video, and the random bit with Adamson.

  27. Daniel James says:

Awesome, thanks! It seems to be working.

  28. Daniel James says:

It really is similar to Aladdin, especially the music that's playing around then (on the Lone Islands). Track #9-Market Forces.

  29. Mina says:

Well, if you think about Ben could play Aladdin if he wanted too. =D

  30. Mina says:

think about *it* – sorry, typo.

  31. Mayor Wilkins says:

Thanks for the screen shots. 😉
I like your comments on some of the others too.
By the way, this is slightly unrelated, but yes, I agree. The Sea Serpent seems to have some cobra-like qualities. Especially in the shot when it lunges at Edmund. It seems to have a cobra's hood with some kind of fish teeth on the ends or something…

    Great video.
    Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! 😀

  32. NarniaForever says:

sigh, i was hoping Skandar would say something, oh well.

  33. Alambil and Tarvis says:

I LOVE Michael Apted's last quote at the end 😀

  34. Hwin says:

I'm sure we have seen most of the movie already…. haha, just kidding!!! 🙂 This is awesome!!!

  35. Queen Elizabeth says:

No Skandar interview? Hmmmm… Yea this was cool. I love how Will looks outside of the movie, much more grown up 🙂

  36. Queen Elizabeth says:

I think that was more Prince of Persia style if you ask me lol

  37. aslan4ever says:

great … georgie is beautiful … so great 🙂

  38. Mr. Anderson says:

"It's almost a sort of like fantastical land."
No, Will, it IS a fantastical land, that's why it's called fantasy. 😛

Awesome clips, though…I can't wait to see this movie.

  39. Nathan says:

yea, they really don't have to emphasize return to the magic of the first film. Prince Caspian really did have some good qualities to it with how grounded it was. What they really need to focus on is not returning to the magic of the first movie, but rather returning to the story that's found in the book. The problem with Prince Caspian was not that it wasn't magical enough. The problem was that it wasn't faithful to the book.

  40. heyheyheyhaley says:

oh my gosh, me too! i would so buy one!

  41. De_De says:

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!! I CAN'T wait!!!!!!!!! Oh 9th of December come sooner!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  42. heyheyheyhaley says:

i know right? he's not being really public right now 🙁

  43. Scarlet13 says:

    Thats really cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  44. World of Aslan says:

    @Daniel James
Please don't mistake Switzerland for Sweden; in Switzerland you speak Swiss German, and in Sweden you speak Swedish!

  45. pray aginst abortion! says:

this is awesome Happy Thanksgiving Day to you too! by the way i love your name!!

  46. Mina says:

Actually I though Prince of Persia was a lot like Aladdin. =D

  47. Mina says:

Slightly not related: Narnia.com has been updated. It starts out with the new trailer, Ramandu's Island game works, and they've posted "new" pictures on the site. (And they've updated the trailers page.)

  48. freya says:

Hardly any Skandar, as usual. What are they doing? Saving him for last or something? At least there was some Ben, and Adam and his hat, hope it's a new hat 😉

  49. Rhys says:

Michael Apted: "so guys, let's see how many times we can say magical!

I bet somebody said that. xD

  50. NarnianAllTheWay says:

Awwhh I was hoping for some Skandar! He's my favorite! Ah well, maybe we'll see an interview with him soon. We haven't seen any yet, & I don't know why… Any ideas?

  51. Narnian Rose:) says:

Whoa. Was that the White Witch hovering over Caspian?

  52. Louloudi the Centaur says:

Now that I have watched this throughout the day, I now wonder who voices Tavros the Minotaur. To me, he sounds a little like Ian McKellen for some reason. Any suggestions? Internet Movie Database lists Shane Rangi plays him, but that is for the costume.

  53. Griffle says:

Fox: I want that scale replica of the Dawn Treader behind Michael Apted in the clip! If I can't have it, please let there be an officially released replica that I can buy!

  54. Pepper Darcy says:

Oh, did I *love* the shot of Lucy shouting 'For Narnia!' I'm so glad she's more involved. I always felt like they cheated on her time or stuff that she could help 'back up' in PC. But you have to admit, Lucy's the heartbeat of the stories: she's the one who discovered Narnia (though Aslan certainly ordained it that way) But she is the heartbeat in a way, and she's a main character, so I thought that was a good thing to see… her supporting a shout: 'for Narnia!' 😀

  55. Pepper Darcy says:

I saw that too and thought 'WHAT a beautiful piece! That is georgeous!' Lots of people would go for that! I would, but I figure i'd sell for $500-$1000…

Oh, look, I got my gravatar to work! Hurray! 😀 Look it's Hiccup! Thank's to whoever gave the link to DanielJames =D

  56. Pepper Darcy says:

Lady Liln, thanks for sharing that site. I had been WONDERING how to do that like SO bad! 😀 But I was bummed someone else had 'Pepper Darcy' before me on that sight… who would have thunk?

  57. Pepper Darcy says:

uh, is this working? I thought I changed my gravatar… opps!

  58. Awel Prince says:

hey, hey, hey!! I really am excited about that shot of Caspain jumping out a window. At least, I think it was C. It was his baggy shirt that makes him look really fat in one shot b/c of the wind. LOL! But the shots look amazing!! Go Apted! Go Narnia!! 😀
