I dont really like the way reepicheep looks on the first pigture, but I love dragon-eustace! and I like the picture, just because I just love how reepicheep talks to eustace in the book..

  2. Nick says:

Wow. Once again I am highly impressed!

  3. The Bulgy Bear says:

AAHHH I love it! Finally a closeup of the dragon!

  4. WarriorOfNarnia says:

    It's okay

  5. The Bulgy Bear says:

And I love how the other dufflepuds are holding their Chief up so he seems (sounds) taller.

  6. Excellent!!! Dragon Eustace looks superb, as do the dufflepuds!

  7. Narnia101 says:

Awesome Pictures!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can't wait for the movie!! The pictures make me want to see it more and more and MORE!!

  8. NarniaFreak says:

    Dragon Eustace looks amazing!

  9. Starlily says:

Wow, I love the Dragon! I liked him before, but I like him even better now! He isn't quite what I was expecting, but I'm still pleased. At least if we don't have Will Poulter for part of the movie, we'll still have an amazing dragon to enjoy! Poor fella!

And I like the Dufflepuds. 🙂 They're not what I expected either, but they'll do. I can't wait to see how they act in the movie. Hope they're funny!

  10. Starlily says:

Whoa, I just remembered I had a dream last night that we got a poster of Dragon Eustace! 😮 He was green, and looked more cartoony, but still…how uncanny! I was almost expecting to find a picture of him today on Narniaweb, and here it is! That hardly ever happens to me, as I certainly can't see into the future. 😉

  11. Queen Susan the Gentle says:

Oh my gosh! I love these!!!! I cannot wait till December!

  12. princessrosario says:

That pic of Reep and the dragon is so cute.

  13. Princess Lucy says:

These pictures are a great surprise which gives us an extra reason to see the film……eustrace dragon looks so sad and innocent…they have done a great job at designing it…infact i have imagined it to be light brown like this one…and reepicheep looks cute next to him…just like the book….awwww…no i am really thanking the filmakers…and the picture with lucy and the dufferpods looks cute and funny…lucy looks glad after she made them visible…this is great…thanxs fantasia_kitty for the update…really appreciated….everyone should be happy with these…sail on dawn treader 🙂

  14. McGunn says:

    Wow, imagine that:)

I really like dragon Eustace. I am even a bit frightened by him, and I can see how Eustace was frightened when seeing the dragon in the cave. He looks so real!

I also love that they have actually included more of the book than they did in the BBC version: Reep and Eustace talking.

  15. Shastafan says:

I am feeling more excited for the dragon each time I see some footage or another picture! I'm glad you can the emotion on his face, and that's something I hoped they could achieve with him. May we see more of Dragon Eustace soon! 😀

  16. Rilian The Disenchanted says:

The dragon looks better than i thought, looks better than in the poster. Love the garden of Magician's island and Dufflepuds. I have a feeling this Narnia is going to be better than the previous 2. It really has a special look, that distinguished itself from Lord Of The Rings and Harry Potter.
Seems like a lot of pics are leaked these days, i keep visiting the site 2-3 times a week. I hope we get a review soon, from those who saw the pre-screening yesterday.
One month and a week left and we can all enjoy it!

  17. QueenLucytheValient says:

They are great, yeah Reep looks a little odd, but dragon Eustace is amazing!

  18. FriendOfNarnia2 says:

Reepicheep and Dragon Eustace talking was one of the top 5 scenes that I really wanted to see in the film. I'm so glad it's still in there! 🙂

  19. 8SilverSky says:

Wow, dragon Eustace looks amazing! You know what? He kind of has a golden colour! That kind of makes sense, since they merged the two islands together! Man, that picture is fantastic!

  20. Mayor Wilkins says:

Oh, sweet glory. Look at poor Dragon Eustace.
This reminds me of how Aslan's sad golden eyes in the Stone Table scene just spoke a thousand words for him. I love it.

Obviously the CG is better than in the trailers. That's usually the case, of course. Remember how animated the White Witch looked in the "PC" trailers? But then, in the movie, it looked so amazing. This dragon looks so beautiful.

I also second the idea that this movie will just ooze with a Narnia feeling. My favorite book and movie is "The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe." I read the book almost every year and I watch the film all the time. I doubt that will ever change. But "Dawn Treader" just looks so promising in terms of Narnia's magical warmth.

Cheers to everyone involved with the production.
And thanks to Narniaweb for posting these updates.
All of you guys are awesome. 🙂

  21. Nel says:

Eustace looks amazing! My hopes have gone up just a wee little bit…if nothing else, the dragon will look good!

  22. Rilian says:

I said it in the podcast, and I'll say it here. Dragon Eustace looks good.

  23. Savber100 says:

The picture with Dragon Eustace and Reep would have made an awesome poster — better than the snowy Aslan poster anyways.

  24. glumPuddle says:

DragonEustace looks fantastic here. In trailers and in the poster, he looks odd.

I think this is the first NarniaWeb story to include two exclamation points!!

  25. Narnianerd says:

Glum: Well we know it wasn't posted by you then…

I'm begining to get the impression that some of these photos have been edited…. Ever thing is just to awesome to be true.

  26. High Queene Shelly Belly says:

it's not snow, we officially know it's "the cosmos"= stars

  27. DanielmyBrother says:

The dragon looks cool. I can't wait to see it on the giant screen!

  28. Starlily says:

    Where did you hear that?

  29. Murtaghluv says:

Did anyone else feel sad when they saw the picture of Dragon Eustace?

  30. FriendOfNarnia2 says:

These pictures (especially the one with the dragon) look like something straight out of my head. I can't believe how close it resembles my imagination.

  31. Eden says:

THANK GOODNESS! Dragon Eustace looks SO much better here than in the trailer. I can't wait to see him in the movie! I love his eyes- He looks so real! I'm glad they didn't make it look cartoony. 😉

  32. Shastafan says:

Yeah, he looks misreable! 🙁 The three inportant things to me about Dragon Eustace is that he looks awesome, he has a few characteristics from when he was a boy, and that the face can express emotion. I am proud to say they've done that so far! 😉

  33. CEP Paul T says:

Both are looking better than I could've imagined. Good job!

  34. always narnian says:

Hmmm… I guess the dragon is pretty good. =)

  35. Pepper Darcy says:

WOW! 😀 Notice that Eustace has a gold 'shimmer'? Very fitting since he was lured by gold. Wow. The CG here is knocking off my socks!! 🙂 Forget the Dufflepuds! Even though they look good. Eustace is awesome! 🙂

  36. GlimGlum says:

Good point, Pepper Darcy. I was thinking the same thing. It is appropriate that he be golden since he became greedy over (mostly) golden treasure. A move I like. 🙂

That closup loooks really good. Sail on VDT!

  37. coracle says:

Yes, and I like how it actually looks like a dragon version of the boy – see his eyes? those do remind me of Will. Sad, imprisoned, unable to help himself.

  38. the dragon looks a-ma-zing!!! the texture of the scales is really good, and I'm so glad they didn't make it look human-ish or cartoony.

  39. High Queene Shelly Belly says:

    I wuv you , Reepicheep! u cutie!

  40. Edson07bs says:

What a beautiful dragon and what a beautiful picture!!! OOOOW

  41. oh wow!!!!! I love these! Dragon Eustace looks amazing! and the Dufflepuds!!!!!!!!! yay!

  42. Peter's Wendy says:

I also think reep looks a little fake. And this is the first piece I have seen of Dragon Eustace that I like!

  43. Awel Prince says:

a little cynical sounding… 🙂 VotDT WILL be too good to be true. Most fans will probably walk away impressed—except those who don't realize some things must always be sacrificed in a book to movie adaption.

  44. Louloudi the Centaur says:

The photo of Dragon Eustace and Reepicheep reminds me of the HarperCollins version of the cover.

  45. Jana says:

WOW !!!!This picture is beautiful !!! :))

  46. decarus says:

    Nice.

  47. Mirima Rosetrader says:

    EUSTACE LOOKS SOOOOOO AWESOME!!!! 😀 😀 😀

  48. The White Wizard says:

    Dragon/Eustace is so cool!!!!!!

    😀

  49. Aragorn2 says:

Awesome, though In wish the Dufflepuds didn't look so wild and unfriendly.

  50. Bookwyrm says:

Dragon! Eustace looks much better than previous pictures we had seen. Reep looks more like hamster or something though. :S

  51. narnian resident says:

awww Dragon Eustace looks so cute 😀

  52. Eustace looks AMAZING here! I agree with Glumpuddle, he looks wierd in other footage and pictures.

  53. Narnian Meerkat says:

Awwww, I love the one Reepicheep is comorting Eustace. I love this pic because it looks just like new VDT book cover. Reep looks kinda fake here, but it's probably just the picture. <3 u Reepicheep!

  54. Narnian Meerkat says:

Eustace as a dragon looks real awesome. He looks ALOT realer than he did in he previous pics.

  55. Alambil and Tarvis says:

OMG does this mean they kept in the Reep-comforting-Eustace part that was mentioned in the book?! AWW!

  56. pselpevensie says:

TOTALLY <3 BOTH PICS!!!! I LUV SEEING DRAGON-EUSTACE AND THE DUFFLEPUDS! 🙂

  57. wolfloversk says:

He looked ok in the trailers, but certainly not great-not like this, and he looked a bit odd in the poster, but I think I'm more willing to believe this that the poster 😉 Reep looks just like he did in one of the shots we got yesterday from AC though…

  58. elanor says:

Yay! I love that part too, McGunn.

  59. Fire vein says:

AH! Dargon-Eustace is so cute!!!!! I hope thats not offensive.
