Narnia Pevensie Actors Reunited

A year ago, Skandar Keynes (Edmund) tweeted his desire for a reunion with his Chronicles of Narnia movie costars, William Moseley (Peter), Anna Poplewell (Susan), and Georgie Henley (Lucy).

Recently, the four finally met up to celebrate Anna’s 30th birthday.

And Skander Keynes is the same age Susan at the end of Her Reign. And Peter in The Horse and His Boy (though he doesn’t appear directly in that book)!

These pictures…This is almost too much.

God, how I wished these four could have been involved in A Horse and His Boy adaptation when Walden Media was still involved.

Now they should totally refilm the White Stag scene from the end of LWW and replace the original one in future releases.

  3. coracle says:

We always thought this should be done. But sadly I doubt that anyone has the right to do it now.

  4. Keeper of Lantern Waste says:

It's funny how much the guys have changed compared to the girls. I'm sure I could recognize Anna Popplewell in the street and probably Georgie Henley but not William or Skandar.

  5. I would love for them to refilm it! I think it would have been great for them to do it, and have a collector’s edition released in 2020, since that’s the 15th anniversary, and the Pevensies’ reign was 15 years. I agree that the rights are probably too tricky now…

  6. I CAN NOT BELIEVE IT HOW THEY GROWN UP SO FAST. SADLY THEY WILL NOT PLAY IN THE FUTURE IN THE FILMS. PLEASE CAME BACK TO US!!!

  7. Cleander says:

I was just watching LWW a few days ago, and to see the way they were then, and the way they are now…just makes that movie seem like such a piece of history. I hope we get to see these people in some sort of roles in the new series!

  8. I would love to see them all come together for a movie in the future

  9. Lorena Terry says:

They may be reigned in for "The Last Battle," again… If they revive the series somehow. They could pull off "The Silver Chair," because it does not involve any of the "C.O.N. The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe" characters, if memory me right.

  10. MIR Aabid says:

i love this movie , truely adventural n the magic wardrobe, but the sad part is character's are now matured, grown ups

  11. This is the best Christmas present ever!!!!!
I am overwhelmed with the emotions this makes me feel!!!!! I love this cast so much and seeing them together again, smiling like that, it's just the best thing ever!!
And yes, I'd LOVE to see Andrew Adamson and Skandar, Goergie, Will, and Anna get to re-shoot the end of LWW and re-release the DVD with that scene! It would also be amazing if they had interviews with the cast and other crew members and made it into a new bonus feature!!

  12. Col Klink says:

It's interesting to me that people get so interested in the lives of actors and other celebrities. I mean we don't know these people personally. For all we know, they could be serial killers. (Shrugs) Different strokes for different folks, I guess.

  13. Cleander says:

You know, I'm not exactly interested in the private lives of these actors. I'm just glad to see people that helped bring my favorite books to life getting back together again after all these years. It's not like I follow
any of them on social media ( I'm not even on
social media unless you include narniaweb.)

  14. Hayley says:

It makes me angry thinking about how Walden Media never produced The Horse and His Boy of The Last Battle. The Pevensie actors are the perfect age at the moment but the only thing we get is a reboot of the entire series…we just wanted a continuation. Anyways, it brought me so much joy seeing William's and Georgie's instagram posts and just looking at the picture transports me into golden age Narnia. It would've been so perfect…

  15. Frodo Lives says:

    Ok…

  16. Frodo Lives says:

I get what you’re saying but I’m sure Glumpuddle posted this because he’s met these young people himself, not to mention it’s cool that they have now grown up to the age that their characters were when rulers of Narnia.

  17. Cleander says:

Actually that comment was supposed to be in reply to Col Klink.(Mistake) But yeah, I'm far from not thinking this is cool. (My thought above was that most of us were commenting and getting excited about this because these folks practically ARE the Pevensies, not because we love gossip about actors' private lives.)

  18. Andy Harrelson says:

Saw the tweet when it first came out, it made my day!

  19. ChristianMan17 says:

It’s amazing that after these years, they’re still together, I know some the actors from the Walden movies r still acting. James Mcavoy is starring in the BBC His Dark Materials T.V. Series, Gymfan talked about it in the one of the Previous Talking Beasts episodes, they’ve just wrapped up the first season, which would be the first book, ‘The Golden Compass’, and they have a green lit for a second season, which would be the second book in the series. James is gonna play Lord Asriel.
I’m hoping that they will do a much better adaptation because I did not like ‘The Golden Compass’ movie. It wasn’t a good adaptation. 🙁

  20. Shannon Jones says:

What a lovely picture! I really want them to return as the four Penvensie kids now that we'll have more Narnia movies ~

  21. Hermitess of Narnia says:

It's great to hear from the actors again! I'm so glad they posted this picture. It's almost like it is from Narnia.

  22. TheeNarnianMeerkat says:

Yaaaa that really would be awesome….Was it true that Adamsen or someone somewhat stated that that was something they were wanting to do?…
