I just copied and pasted the lyrics into this online translator

http://babelfish.yahoo.com/

and then i copied and pasted the result of that back into the translator and translated it back to English from the language i translated it into.

I hope that makes sense

perfect sense thanks.

Rock-a-bye, baby
In the treetop
When the wind blows
The cradle will rock
When the bough breaks
The cradle will fall
And down will come baby
Cradle and all

I took it to dutch, then into french, and finally back to english and this is what I got:

Rock'n'roll-have-bye, the baby In the treetop When the wind blows The cradle will the rock'n'roll When the bough station-wagons The cradle will fall And demoralized will like the baby Cradle and all

It's Not Me It's You sounds good, but the lyrics are kind of . . . spiteful sounding. I'd rather listen to Relient K's version of the breakup song. Really don't like You Should've When You Could've. Sometimes and Hero are probably my favorites.
*Didn't know RelientK had a new CD coming out...*
Yeah, I don't like It's Not Me It's You very well... Like you said, the lyrics are not very... "nice". :p ;) (Such as "Let's get this straight. You're a poison.") I really like half the songs at least though. Like you said.

I now have Revival- 10min long but I really like it. I will play this one to no end before checking another one. It's my new thing, listening to one new song by a singer at at time. I have a list so I won't forget it.
I'm glad you like it. Revival has been one of my favorite songs pretty much since the first time I heard it, several years ago. Hope you like the best as well.

:)) I hadn't thought of like that. I see why you didn't catch the title now.
and you should make "sometime" today if you can. :p

I atleast love it, as do some others here.
I think they are a group that's getting better as they age.
I've like many of their first songs but off different CD's while the newer I seem to like more songs per CD.

@IloveFauns: LOL. "Twinkle, Twinkle" was soooo funny. I did the same thing with "The Carpal Tunnel of Love" by Fall Out Boy and cracked up!

Here's Pop Goes the Weasel, normally:

All around the mulberry bush
The monkey chased the weasel;
The monkey thought 'twas all in fun,
Pop! goes the weasel.
A penny for a spool of thread,
A penny for a needle—
That's the way the money goes,
Pop! goes the weasel.

And here it is translated to Japanese and back to English:

The monkey pursued the weasel completely around the bush of the mulberry tree; As for monkey ' You thought; Twas of the pleasure entirely, explosion sound! The weasel goes. Penny for spool of thread and penny That' for needle; s goes your methodological money, explosion sound! The weasel goes.

Lol these are so funny. I am going to do marry had a little lamb.

Mary had a little lamb,
Little lamb, little lamb,
Mary had a little lamb,
Its fleece was white as snow

Everywhere that Mary went,
Mary went, Mary went,
Everywhere that Mary went
The lamb was sure to go

It followed her to school one day
School one day, school one day
It followed her to school one day
Which was against the rules.

It made the children laugh and play,
Laugh and play, laugh and play,
It made the children laugh and play
To see a lamb at school

And so the teacher turned it out,
Turned it out, turned it out,
And so the teacher turned it out,
But still it lingered near

And waited patiently about,
Patiently about, patiently about,
And waited patiently about
Till Mary did appear

"Why does the lamb love Mary so?"
Love Mary so? Love Mary so?
"Why does the lamb love Mary so?"
The eager children cry

"Why, Mary loves the lamb, you know."
Loves the lamb, you know, loves the lamb, you know
"Why, Mary loves the lamb, you know."
The teacher did reply

and here is the result

Mary had a small lamb, Little lamb, little lamb, Mary had a small lamb, his fleece was white as snow Where that Mary went, Mary went, Mary went, Where that Mary went the lamb it was certain it goes Him it followed in the school one day School one day, school one day Him followed in the school one day Whoever was against the rules. Make the laughter and did the did game of children, Laughter and game, laughter and game, Make the laughter and the game of children In order to does see a lamb in the school And thus the schoolteacher did turn him outside, Turned outside, him did turn outside, And thus the schoolteacher him did turn outside, But still did delay neighbour And [perimemenos] patiently roughly, Patiently roughly, patiently roughly, And [perimemenos] patiently roughly [Mechris] [otoy] did present itself Mary "? Why the lamb does love Mary thus? "? Love Mary thus? Love Mary thus? "? Why the lamb does love Mary thus? "? The willing cry of children "? Why, Mary does love the lamb, you know."? Love the lamb, you know, it loves the lamb, you know "? Why, Mary does love the lamb, you know."? The schoolteacher answered

those translations are hilarious =)) especially pop goes the weasel! i should do one...

happy birthday to you
happy birthday to you
happy birthday dear someone
happy birthday to you

so i translated it to hebrew and then back and got this

Happy Birthday you
Happy Birthday you
Happy Birthday expensive someone
Happy Birthday to you

not that funny, but kinda... :)

i haven't listened to the new skillet cd yet but i read the lyrics of some of the songs, i liked monster and lucy. i have to admit though i'm a bit prejudiced against them because they have some screaming and they're like hard rock.

ok i have a question, which leeland cd should i get first? i have all three on my cd to buy list. which one's the best?

that's a tough call,
The third just came out and right now I am in love with two songs,
Follow You which I bought as a single a couple of weeks prior to the CD,
and Pure Bride is the other song I loved once the CD came out.
I like some other songs but I am not listening to it all just yet. I will in time though.

The second has some amazing songs as well, Enter This Temple being my favorite of the CD. Not sure how many of their songs you've heard. But if it was me, I'd start with Sound of the Melodies, which is the first.
[i][/i]
It was nominated for Best Album at the Dove Awards, right along Casting Crown's The Altar and the Door, big achievement IMO for a debut album.

The first CD has:
Yes You Have
Tears of the Saints
Carried to the Table, the story of Mephibosheth, compared with us
Sound of the Melodies
Too Much
Reaching

which I simply loved, while I did enjoy the other songs mostly.
Not saying you will enjoy them the same exact way as I did, but I'd start from the beginning.

Of course Opposite Way was also nominated for the same Dove Award, which is also saying something, an excellent follow up.

yeah, start from the beginning, go with the first.
(or actually, if you don't want to be behind the times, I'd buy the new one and then later get the older ones.)

as you can see, I seem to be undecided. 8-}
the first, go with the first ;))

I'm seeing talk of Casting Crowns! The first 4-5 tracks on their debut album and Lifesong are my favorites. I love East to West too, but it's the only song I've heard from The Altar and the Door. I should really look up more of their songs from that album. I've heard Slow Fade is good, but never listened to it...

Obviously, my favorite band is Tenth Avenue North. ;)) They are just awesome... every single song on Over and Underneath is great. It's one of the only albums that I love listening to all the way through without skipping any of the songs. They have a modern, refreshing sound and their lyrics are so profound and deep. There's also a nice variety of styles on the CD, from the more upbeat songs (e.g. Break Me Down) to the quieter ones (e.g. Times).

Another favorite is Relient K! Matt Thiessen is such a clever songwriter. I enjoy listening to their older albums in the more pop/punk style as well as the newer albums, including Five Score which some call "overproduced", and even The Bird and The Bee Sides with its country leanings (and yet that album includes a few songs in the style of those on Anatomy/Two Lefts).
