Walden Media and Walt Disney Pictures released their film adaptation of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe in December 2005, grossing $745 Million worldwide. Prince Caspian was released in May 2008 and grossed $420 Million worldwide. 20th Century Fox and Walden Media released The Voyage of the Dawn Treader in December 2010 and grossed $415m worldwide. Now, Walden’s contract with the C.S. Lewis Estate has expired. We believe 2014 is the earliest a new Narnia production could begin.

Narnia 4 status: A fourth Narnia film (probably The Magician’s Nephew) was in development in early 2011, but now it appears negotiations have stalled. We believe 2014 is the earliest another Narnia production could begin. Read more.
