Walden Media and Walt Disney Pictures released their film adaptation of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe in December 2005, grossing $745 Million worldwide. Prince Caspian was released in May 2008 and grossed $420 Million worldwide. 20th Century Fox and Walden Media released The Voyage of the Dawn Treader in December 2010 and grossed $415m worldwide. Now, Walden’s contract with the C.S. Lewis Estate has expired. We believe 2018 is the earliest a new Narnia film could be released.
