^^ well, if she's from Australia, then maybe she's more of a local actress?

She was a local actress. But once VDT comes out there's going to be media all over her just because she's Caspian's love interest. I think this movie will make everyone notice her and more media will come from her because these movies are international. I give it until October or November when we'll know more about Laura.

Cool! She certainly looks the part. I just tried searching for her online and can't find anything on her either. I found her on IMDb but there's nothing about her except that she is in VoDT, acted in Message from the CEO (2009), and acted in two episodes of Chandon Pictures (Pack and She's 22).

Re: Ramandu's daughter - Laura Brent
Out of interest, has anyone here been watching The Pacific on TV? Apparently the second of Gary Sweet's two episodes was on last night (not that i would know since i haven't got cable/satellite tv) But more to the point, has anyone yet spotted Laura Brent in it?
We know she is supposed to be in it - there are several quotes from way back when stating that she is, but i have yet to see any information about who she plays or which episodes she appears in. I had been expecting something to have turned up by now, given that the series is already well underway, but nothing has.
Take the following quote for example:
http://www.nida.edu.au/ArticleDocuments/482/2008Graduates.pdf.aspx
All the actors listed there appear as named roles in the show (none of them have just generic background role titles) and all of them have their screen credit for the series listed on IMDB, either on the main series cast list, or on the episode-specific cast lists - all except Laura Brent that is.
It seems unlikely that she would be the only one of them to have an uncredited background role, so therefore i might perhaps assume therefore that her episode(s) has yet to be shown on TV? Im assuming that they don't release the full cast lists for each episode until near or after the episode has been screened, so that woud mean the cast list for her episode may not have been added to IMDB yet, which is why it doesn't show up on her profile?
Episode 7 of 10 is on this Sunday. Anyone want to keep an eye out for the remaining few episodes? Would be nice to get some sort of idea about what to expect from her, even if only a tiny glimpse.

NIDA Graduate Acheivements 2008 wrote:The Pacific (HBO) Toby Moore, Simon Bossell, Nathan Lovejoy, Adam Booth and Henry Nixon are among many NIDA graduates who have landed roles, in addition to 2007 graduates Akos Armont, Laura Brent, Eamon Farren and Andrew Lees. Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks are the executive producers of this 10 hour mini series about the Pacific theatre of war in World War II.

Pictures of Laura Brent!!!!
~DaughterofEve~ sent us a spy report with a livejournal link that had these pics of Laura in her role of Dahlia in Legend of the Seeker. Now while I feel like I need to go ahead and share the link to credit the person that uploaded them (Which is here), I also have to warn you all that the site contains many very racy pictures and a lot of bad language.

Re: Ramandu's daughter - Laura Brent
There are some short clips from that episode of Legend of the Seeker to YouTube
The rest of the episode contained some content which quite a few people might find to be slightly inappropriate, but the clip there is just regular generic fantasy stuff (i didn't have a clue what was going on, i don't usually watch the show )
No further news on The Pacific though. The series concluded yesterday, but still no credit on IMDB. So either she wasn't in it in the end, or she was uncredited - which would probably make it kind of hard to go back and try and spot her in one of the episodes, but you never know.

The one bad thing about livejournal and also present in Legend of the Seeker but a great look at Laura! I think she is very beautiful and can't wait to see her as RD! I have to say her voice seems very soothing which I think fits for the role of being a Star's daughter.
I watch the show, huge fan. Thanks for the upload icarus! Yeah the rest of her part in the episode is very questionable which is why I was so shocked when I discovered who she was last night!

Oh My Lanta!! I had no idea Laura was in Legend of the Seeker. This is one my favorite shows. Once i tell my sister this she'll go ecstatic.
She's very gorgeous, I have no worries now of people ridiculously trying to compare her with Anna Popplewell. Also why does it matter? She marries Caspian, end of story.

I meant how people try to take Laura's pretty face and compares it to Anna's to try and find out who is prettier. I find it ridiculous, but it's mainly the Suspian's that do it.
