IGN has taken a look at the Collector’s Edition of “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe” DVD, which will be available on April 4. This set includes two audio commentaries, a blooper reel, optional “Discover Narnia” pop-up feature, seven behind-the-scenes features, interactive map, and a timeline.

Here is how they rated the 2-disc set:

The Movie: 6/10
A visually sumptuous but lackluster interpretation of C.S Lewis’ acclaimed novel.

The Video: 9/10
Amazing clarity and beautiful colors make for a terrific transfer.

The Audio: 10/10
DTS and Dolby 5.1 tracks offer comparably terrific audio accompaniment.

The Extras: 10/10
A handsome two-disc set offers an abundance of extras.

Overall: 9/10
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe is one of those sets in which the features are more fun than the movie itself. While the movie is a bit confused with itself, the rest of this set is just top-shelf. The video is stunning, the audio is amazing, and the features cover almost every aspect of the movie you could imagine. Despite my feelings on the movie, I really do recommend the set. If you just casually liked the film, or you have a kid whose just getting into the books, this is a sure bet.
