LWW on Disney Channel Twice This Week
The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe will be airing on Disney Channel at 8:00pm EST on Monday and Tuesday this week. It will most likley be the extended cut, which is eight minutes longer than the theatrical cut. Thanks to ‘Narnia Lover’ for the alert.
YES! More Narnia! It was on ABC Family yesturday but I didn't report it on here long enough before hand. It was the extended one. GO NARNIA! Edmund! 🙂

Is Disney accidentally giving free publicity to the now Fox franchise by airing this film, or are they trying to capitalize on the growing enthusiasm for Narnia this year?
I realise that LWW is Disney's to air whenever they want, but I'm wondering what made the Disney Channel decide to air it now. Will we see PC on Disney Channel any time soon?
I don't think PC is going to be on Disney for a few years. The only channel I know it's on right now is Stars. Hopfuly we'll see it on Disney and ABC Family in a few more years!
LWW aired here in Phoenix both last night and today on ABC Family, wonder why they are starting to show it so often now? Anyways I think it's a good thing, it may help people to remember that VDT is coming out this year.
That's a very interesting question. My guess is that Disney will try to capitalize on VDT and do stuff with LWW and PC later this year. Maybe new DVD/Blu-ray releases? That'd be cool.
Why are they doing that? Honestly… Disney dropped Narnia, so there is no reason why they should be airing it. It will promote VDT, but still…

That doesn't mean they can't show it on Disney Channel. It promotes Narnia. Don't you want more people to know about Narnia?

You're right. It wasn't the extended. I watched it, too. It will be on again tomorrow at 12/11c on Disney.

Oh, definitely. I think Narnia should be promoted as much as possible. But sometimes, I get the impression Disney was in it for the money. Idk, that's probably just me.
It's good that LWW is going to be shown on DC maybe more people will see VODT at the cinema when they see how good the first one is! I forgot how good it was I was watching it on BBC 1 around Christmas time and I had to be dragged away from the TV because it is so good! Plus Skandar looks so young he doesn't really look like a 13 year old but he is still cute 🙂
Bummer, I missed it. Oh well…I can always watch MY L.W.W. movie. 🙂
