iPad May Include Narnia Books with Movie Scenes
Zondervan Publishing will be teaming up with iPad to try something new for people who enjoy digital e-Readers. Because the iPad can be viewed in color, Zondervan is taking advantage of that technology with their children’s books, including Narnia. They’re also hoping to take that technology one step further by integrating scenes from the films into the e-Books. MLive.com says:
The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, the third installment in the Narnia series coming out in December is being made 20th Century Fox, another property of News Corp.
“Now, we are cousins working on the same content. So why wouldn’t Fox want to embed its clips into Narnia books so people who see it will want to buy or download the movie?” Bourland asked.

Sounds like more of a theoretical plan for the future of eBooks in general, rather than a definite plan for any specific Narnia related release, but its still a massively cool idea 🙂 Hope they get somewhere with it.
Dude, I want an iPad real bad, but my parents probably won't allow it. I don't blame them, because when I get something really fun and special I get to carried away with it. Like, when I got my MP3, I started listening to good, Christian stuff. And I like rocky music and raps a lot, so I listen to Christian rock and raps. But then I started to listen to the bad kind of raps with bad stuff in them. I try so hard to stop, but it's SO hard to resist! I take stuff for granted so much. I'm trying to be thankful for what I have because most kids don't have anything like this! I'll pray for an iPad, but I'll pray with a pure heart hopefully…
If it makes you feel any better, I don't have an Ipad either. It would be really cool to view VDT clips on one, but I don't need one. I have the internet and bookstores, and that's enough for me. I can see why you want one, though. 🙂
yeah, I guess ur right about the internet and bookstores thing. I guess the only reason I want an iPad is because all my friends have those ind of things. I guess I'll just have to live with it! 🙂

I wish that thy would make an i-Pod touch version. That would be AWSOME!!
This summer apple is going to update the iPhone OS, and they are including iBooks with that, so If you upgrade the OS on your iPod touch(or iPhone),You should be able to see the book with the videos/pics there too! Hope that brightened some peoples day. If you question me, checkout the last apple keynote address showing OS 4 to the developers!

They actually do have an IPod touch,(they also have an IPod app on the Iphone). I got the Amazon Kindle app for free. You can also get it on the IPad. Some of the books are free, like the ones published before the 1930's.

There's nothing wrong with "rocky" music and rap. You're still a Christian after listening aren't you? I don't think having an iPad will take away your faith. Just download the Bible to it and the Narnia books lol.
I have the kindle on my i-Pod, didn't know that they were the same thing..I though the Narnia book was ONLY for i-Pad.
and that nothing to do with the Narnia film set for release on December 10, 2010 but hey everyone does whatever and one last goodbye.

I know, but I started to listen to bad rocky nd raps music. But I'm trying to listen to Christian raps and rock music. Oh, so this morning, my sister told me that she was on Narniaweb and saw a new link that said , Skandar Keynes in the Hospital!" I was like, "WHAT!?" And she made up this whole story about how Skandar was filming a scene where he fell overboard and a shark bit him. It was then I realized she made it up and I cooled down. Sorry, little random story 🙂
My favorite book too! Although, I got a bit bored at the part where Eustace journals. But there were bits and bits in his journaling that I was interested in.

Yeah, the Narnia book with the pics is probably only for the IPad.
I know FoxTrot Comics by Bill Amend made a joke about the IPad. (I like the ones about LOTR.) So u know how Apple doesn't like to use Adobe Flash, right? Here's the joke: Apple demonstrater shows IPad to Superman- "Hello, Superman. This is the IPad. It's the future of comics. It's going to save you." To Hulk he says the same thing. Then to Spiderman. Then Flash comes up- Flash:"Well, what about me?" Apple guy:" Sorry, Flash, you're out of luck."
