Official Narnia Site Updates to Include Map

Narnia.com has updated to include a map that the user can sail around in their boat. Islands such as Galma, Terabinthia, the Seven Isles, the Lone Islands, Dragon Island, Burnt Island, Goldwater, the Magician’s Island, the Dark Island, and Ramandu’s Island all make an appearance on the map. Aslan’s Country is also visible. At the moment, it appears that all a user can do is sail between islands, but only time will tell what will get added next!

Won't load for me *sniffles*. Ah well, I'll try again later.

  2. Aslan's Meadow says:

    Cool!

  3. Aravis & Hwin says:

    Wow! That's neat!

  4. Pattertwig's Pal says:

It's interesting and puzzling. There is a sword sticking out of Doorn (I think that is what the map says). It is one of the Lone Islands. If you click on the ship, it asks if you want to search for treasure. I haven't found any.

  5. Liberty Hoffman says:

cool, but I can't get to the map yet!

  6. narnian resident says:

    sounds cool! and fun!

  7. Lady Éowyn says:

The map scroll wasn't clickable to me at first… try going around to other pages and then clicking the scroll. It finally loaded when I was on the Media page. You'll know it's coming when it starts to snow. 😉

It's good to see they have that island listed as Ramandu's Island… maybe that indicates there *is* a Ramandu in the film?

  8. Silver the Wanderer says:

That's what I was thinking…here's hoping they keep Ramandu in.

I also found it funny that Aslan's Country is in the utter southeast 😛

  9. ztr_rider says:

Actually, I'm pretty sure that's supposed to be the Dark Island.

  10. ztr_rider says:

Same here. I went around to several of the islands with no result. My guess is that they're going to activate that feature later. Similar to how the whole riddle thing wouldn't work for so long.

  11. Midshipman Pepper Darcy says:

pretty neat! =D Can NOT wait for this movie! =D

  12. Elf Maiden Archer of Rivendell says:

Narnia.com can be slow a bit. That's so coooool! 😉 They have a map! I joined a couple of weeks ago. I can't wait for newer updates! I figured out if you simply log in you sometimes get more points!

  13. Bother Eustace says:

Cool, but… I get the feeling this map isn't accurate as to what we'll see in the movie (and I mean more than just geographically, obviously). We've been told that some islands have been combined, yet this map shows all the islands from the book. Even Burnt Island, which was hardly a big deal even in the book. I don't think this is revealing as to what the movie will include.

  14. QueenLucy12 says:

    cool!

  15. ValiantQueen says:

Has anyone else noticed that one of the islands is "Goldwater", not Deathwater?

  16. HighQueenofNarnia says:

    *hands FK a kleenex*
It won't load for me either. WAAAH!!!
Oh well. I bet it's cool.

  17. king caspian says:

It looks sweet! I like it!

  18. Prince Norin says:

Actually it is Aslan's Country… it is really far down there.

  19. Prince Norin says:

I was extremely excited about all of the islands being in the correct order on the map! I am unsure how much information we should actually trust from the production about how the movie will turn out. Things have changed quite a few times with regard to this movie.

  20. Lady_Liln says:

Even more odd is that the sword is Rhindon. . .

  21. Narnia-Fan1 says:

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing when I saw Ramandu's Island. So that means, that he will probably be in the film! That's some great news!

  22. Bother Eustace says:

Hey yeah… nice catch! I didn't even notice that. Wonder what that could mean?

  23. Eustace says:

Yeah, that kind of scares me. Everyone knows it was called Deathwater by Reepicheep. It makes me wonder what is the person making this map thinking?

  24. yes! I like it a lot! WE CAN'T WAIT! WE CAN'T WAIT!
uh…what is the rating of the movie? is it 3D?

  25. QueenLucy12 says:

Yes I noticed that too! *???*

  26. HighQueen_Of_LanternWaste says:

Yes I realised that as well, that's weird.

  27. HighQueen_Of_LanternWaste says:

Yeah I saw that it was Rhindon, I'm a bit confused about that.

  28. narnian1 says:

I love it! I just wish they'd give a little story of each island when you get to it.

  29. Lucy the Valient says:

I think it is really cool that they added this to let us be involved more, but they keep asking me the same riddle even though I've already answered it correctly… 🙁

  30. Silver the Wanderer says:

Yeah, it's waaaaayyy in the corner.

  31. Lucy says:

WHAT THE…? Could someone explain to me why we've got a GOLDWATER island here and not a DEATHWATER island instead? LOL. Other than that, cool map.

  32. adamie says:

It's a cool feature, but I'm worried about that sword! It seems that they are somehow having a battle scene at doorn, which we of course already guessed from the trailer. But it reminds of the big-pitched battle BB mentioned.

  33. Aravyn says:

Perhaps it's for the people who haven't read the books… I mean, it might be a bit of a spoiler if they go to see the movie and already know about the fight some of the crew get into over the naming of the island. That's what I reckon, anyway.
    ???

  34. HighQueen_Of_LanternWaste says:

Has anyone noticed that the seven isles look more look six isles and a cloud? Or maybe I'm that bad at counting 😀

  35. Hermitess of Narnia says:

The islands are all there and in order; I thought they'd said they'd consolidated the seven main islands into five. Maybe, only the website is following the book.

Please pray for the message of the Dawn Treader.

  36. Puddleglum says:

Well now. I leave on a camping trip, (with rain of course) to find more tidbits when I return.
And, as is my general luck I cannot open the site.
I will just have to be satisfied reading others observations.
I guess I should be happy this thing was not struck by lightning while I was gone.

  37. Countess Shamira says:

You two aren't alone. All I got was a crazy black background and Aslan's head with blue light shooting out from behind. Should I wait longer and make my family blow a gasket or jusr drop it? (drop it I guess)

  38. yeah, i can't get through either (meaning the map)

  39. it is AWESOME! don't lose heart, my narniafan.
