Official Narnia Website for Korea has New Concept Art

If you go to Narnia.com and click on the Country Selector, you’ll notice that there are now a few other countries/languages besides the USA in which to view the Dawn Treader website (Australia, Holland, France, and Korea to be specific). If you click on the Games section on the official website for Korea each of the games has a new piece of concept art to check out.

We have been asked by the production to remove these photos. We apologize for the inconvenience.

As far as I can tell, the games aren’t actually active yet. At least I get a broken link when I try to click on them, but the concept art is worth it.

Thanks icarus for the heads up!

  3. LL says:

    Pretty!

  4. Starlily says:

Okay, so the middle picture looks like the magician's house because you can see the garden beneath it. But what islands do the other two pictures portray? Maybe one of them is Goldwater, but it's hard to tell. And what is that dark greenish cloud picture behind the words "game title"? Is that the storm or the sea serpent or something?

Anyway, they're just concept art. But they look really cool, and I can't wait to see more of the islands! πŸ™‚ (I wonder how close they'll be to the concept art. Will the magician's house look like that? Judging from the pictures we've seen of its inside, the outside looks like it might match pretty well.)

  5. icarus says:

The one labelled "Action Game" is for the Goldwater/Dragon Island combination, as it matches the associated thumbnail image before.

The "Search Game" one has some of the Moeraki Boulders we saw props of in the MovieWorld tour, but i have no idea where it supposed to be.

  18. LucyP0104 says:

Come to think of it, since it says "Goldwater dragon creator", could that mean that they've combined the goldwater and dragon islands? Or am I missing something?

  19. High Queene ShellyBelly says:

i like this art better than the last two film's art. not as scetchy looking

  20. Elf Maiden Archer of Rivendell says:

Sooooooo Coooooooool! I'm gonna go check out all those other international Narnia sites! πŸ˜‰

  21. narnian resident says:

Beautiful! im guessing the first picture is Eustace and Lucy, or maybe Edmund and Lucy, the second picture is the island with the Dufflepuds and that must be Coriakin's house, and the third one is Dragon Island. Thats my best hunch. my, this is fun imagining!

  22. narnian resident says:

so they're combining Deathwater island with Dragon island? hmm….ok, interesting. i really dont mind that. in fact, i think thats a smart move, that way it makes one less island to visit, and so they can keep the story going and not slow it down with so many different islands. i wonder what they're going to call it then? Deathwater Dragon Island? or maybe a new name? hmm, i guess we'll have to see.

  23. son of rillian says:

oh, i love these pictures, i wonder if there will be more?

  24. MP_in_Narnia says:

AWESEOME pics!!!! But when I went to the Korea page, I couldn't find any "Games" tab at all. ??? Is it clearly visible on the "home" page?

  25. icarus says:

Evidence from a few sources seems to indicate the name will be "Goldwater". There are a few resons why i think its slightly more preferable to use "Goldwater" rather than "Deathwater" (e.g. spoiler reasons and marketing reasons) but also the name just about (only just) encompasses the concept of Dragon Island as well, with the association of gold.

  26. Renger says:

ah, the site is finally available in dutch. That's much more easy 4 me

  27. Starlily says:

So if Dragon Island and Goldwater are combined, and that picture of the rather rocky barren place is the two of them in one…does that mean that the island won't be lush and mountainous like Dragon Island, or gray and heathery like Goldwater? Aww…I hope it'll be pretty anyway. They promised beautiful scenery, and I'll be upset if I don't get it. Maybe it's just the beach that doesn't have vegetation.

Oh, another thing. Now I'm guessing that that dark greenish cloudy thing behind the words "game title" is actually the Dark Island. Anyone agree?

  28. true-narnian_queen says:

    Rockin awsome!!!!

  29. Watziznehm says:

Yikes! I don't know about you, but, to me, those pictures look really really LOTR. Well, I suppose the first picture doesn't conjure up any particular recollection, but the other two do. The magician's house looks really similar to Rivendell (pardon if my spelling is wrong). The last picture – the one of the island – perhaps doesn't bring any specific place to mind in me, but it just looks like a place that would fit perfectly in Middle Earth. Anyway, that is just my opinion.

  30. Lylanarniafan says:

    awesome!!!

  31. pselpevensie says:

    love them!!!

  32. Caspian says:

*raise hand* Um…I have a question. How does one find the games on the Korean version? I couldn't find the option. *blush* So much for computer skills…

  33. Starlily says:

Coriakin's house looks impressive, but I'm a little disappointed that it's so fancy. I always imagined it as a rather ordinary brick mansion covered in ivy, and it was only the inside that looked mysterious and magical. That way you wouldn't suspect the magic until you went inside–a sort of surprise. I really like that idea.

But I'm not going to worry about it. Even if the house doesn't look like I expected, it is still quite beautiful and magical-looking. (I'll miss those ivy-covered bricks, though.)

  34. Ted C says:

Neato, I wish I spoke Korean so I could read what they say.

  35. Warrior 4 Jesus says:

I don't think they look like LotR at all, and I'm still not seeing the similarities to Rivendell (even with the evidence you've provided in the forums).

  36. Warrior 4 Jesus says:

That's not Korean, that's Lorem ipsum (Latin filler text). Asian languages have different characters, more pictorial than anything else.

  37. Jill says:

    Me too.

  38. Eryn says:

It seems very Tolkien-like to me too.

  39. Caspian X says:

Wow, I Love the new pics. But the link you put on didn't work. πŸ™

  40. Ted C says:

Ummmmmmm…..I was joking Warrior 4 Jesus

  41. Jim says:
