VDT Trailer on Apple’s Website
The Voyage of the Dawn Treader trailer has now made it onto Apple’s trailer website. You can now download the trailer onto your iPod/iPhone by clicking the arrow by the Watch Now link.

Nice! Problem: I'm technology illiterate. How do I download this? I don't have an iPod or iPhone…
I'm not 100% sure, but I THINK you either have to have Quicktime Pro (which isn't free) or an iPod or iPhone to download it.
You have to have quicktime pro, which costs $30. It's totally worth it if you want to very quickly and easily edit video, or export audio into different formats. Quicktime pro is very cheap compared to similar software on the market. It's one of the best investments you'll make, if you like working with video.
Oh yay!! I've already downloaded and converted the trailer for my iPod before this, but my bet is it'll be better quality now. 😀

Regarding the main page image there – Now THAT is how the Dawn Treader should look on a poster! 🙂 Not like the washed out, pink monstrosity of a Dawn Treader poster they had up on the news pages of a few other narnia fan sites over the weekend that apparently definitely wasn't fan art despite looking for all the world that it was fan art – really poor fan art at that. Yes this one is still just the main image from the official site in mirror image, but it still looks totally sweet the way its presented with the logo and date and everything.

Yes! I was just wondering when I would be able to download the VDT trailer to my ipod and now thanks to apple I can do just that.
OK, so I just tried to download the trailer and it keeps getting an ERROR!! Has anyone else been able to get it??

that's the first time I was ever ahead of Narniaweb, I put the trailer on i-tunes a day before this but not from the apple site… =D
220chrisTian, it would be most helpful if you had an iPod/Phone/Pad. (I've only recently got my own iPod, but I do know that much.)

I downloaded something called RealPlay (or RealPlayer) and it downloads videos from You Tube… so I downloaded the trailer to *that* and then put my curser over the video and it had a copy to option and had 'apple ipod' or something… and that put it on my itunes 🙂 and I had it on my ipod 😉 I didn't know you could do it through Apple :/

there, after you've downloaded the video to your realplayer, then you have to convert it to ipod or ipad etc.

Hey, I tried it and it worked! The only thing is that the quality is kind of blurry but not too bad. Did yours come out in High Quality?

well, not sure… mine was fine. I had no complaints at least. But others may have said… well, yeah it was sorta pixeled on my computer, but it's fine on my ipod 😉 glad it worked for you!! 😀 Less than five months, right?!
