Great clip! Not so sure about Reep's voice though. It's a bit too Disney.

  4. Louloudi the Centaur says:

Great clip. I am very confident they will get Reepicheep right.

  5. Anneliese says:

Great clip, but I agree with Lirimaer_senshi. I'm not a big fan of Reep's voice.

  6. Tabitha says:

    YAY!!

  7. Samuel the Magnificent says:

I love it. Before I was worried about Will's acting, but I have more confidence him now.

  8. MagnificentKing says:

I Love the clip.. I not a huge fan of Reep's voice but it is better than some of the voices they could have picked. Like how some people make him sound like a girl that really bugs me

  9. Nick says:

Personally, I like Reep's voice much more than the previous voice. His original voice made him sound too cartoony (just like Puss n' Boots in Shrek; that basis is a whole other story). I think this gives him a more "Knight of Narnia" feel. Definitely an upgrade.

    • High Queene Shelly Belly says:

i totally agree, he was almost buffoonish in the movie , unlike the book where was more sincere but pompous. they went for the cheap joke in PC

  10. NARNIAGIRL says:

I love this clip! My favorite so far:) Can't wait for the movie!

  11. narnian says:

    awsome!!!!

  12. KingoftheWood says:

Absolutely fantastic…I am sold. Unbelievable how real Reep is…simply unbelievable…

  13. Reepicheep775 says:

I'm not gonna watch it, but I like the picture. 🙂

    • Hwin says:

I agree!!! The picture looks good, but I am not going to watch it!!! 🙂 Nearly only a week until the film is out! 😀

  14. GlimGlum says:

I agree; 🙂 great clip. Sail on VDT!

  15. Matsi says:

This is AWESOME!! I still can't decide which voice of Reepicheep I like better…

  16. Pepper Darcy says:

I *loved* that. Yes, I know, only a few days till we get it, but I couldn't help it! It was *amazing*! And the premiere looked awesome! 🙂 Can't wait till Tirian and Icarus get back with lost of stories about their trip!

I'm sooo hyped about this movie. Reep is really awesome, and cute!

    • Pepper Darcy says:

wow. Fantasia, you've been busy today keeping up with the premiere and now this! 😉 Thanks for your hard work! 😀

    • SavedByGrace says:

I can't wait!! Reep is one of my favorites, too.

Thanks to all you who have been keeping up with the news and letting us know about it. You have my gratitude.

    • Mayor Wilkins says:

      He is cute. 😉
I actually think he's cuter than he was in "Prince Caspian."
I like the new voice, too.

I'm not sure what everyone means by a "Disney voice" though?
I'm a big fan of classic Disney movies, but I didn't get a Disney mouse feel from Reep.
No, to me, Reepicheep is Reepicheep. He's his own character. 🙂

I think Disney made a big mistake anyway dropping Narnia. They should have known the one coming after "Prince Caspian" was a great story. Sad, because it seems the company was only after money. Money is fine, but there should be another passion behind making the films in addition to profit. Douglas Gresham has the kind of passion I'm talking about. By dropping Narnia, Disney sadly proved they lacked the passion.

This was a cute clip. Couldn't resist watching it.
I love this. "LWW" is and always will be my favorite book/movie, but man, this new one looks like instant gold. A perfect companion to the previous movies. I am so psyched for this! Somebody calm me down before I go crazy with fandom! LOL! No, don't calm me down. I change me mind. I like fandom! Whoo! The countdown is nearing conclusion!

    • johan says:

you are a stupid idiot who has never watched narnia…….xexexexe 😛

  17. aravis says:

I don't like it. Reep doesn't seem to be in character–he ought to be nobler…the orange stealing isn't as serious as the water stealing on short rations…

    • High Queene Shelly Belly says:

yeah, i wonder why they would change such a thing- dumbing it down for modern kids? or maybe a better visual?

  18. Narnian at Heart says:

reep is just way too awsome!

  19. aragorn2 says:

They cut out the "No one touches the tail" line, you can really tell there is a gap there. I hope it is in the finished product.

  20. I loved it. Dear Reep! And that Eustace … a right stinker!

  21. Melanie says:

Loved it! That was great! 😀

Personally, I like Simon Pegg's Reepicheep better than the previous voice (I don't remember the actor's name).

    • Pepper Darcy says:

hey! I know you! 😀 I didn't realize you commented on Narniaweb too! 🙂 Your comment on my blog took me by surprise! 😀

Isn't Reep a dear?! Yeah, I love this voice a lot. It fits. I loved Reep's little moves and 'stunts'. I wonder who his stunt double was?

  22. narnian resident says:

oh i am going to laugh so much when i see this in the movie!! i just know it! and my friends are probably going to laugh along, both at the scene and at me 😀

  23. Queen Elizabeth says:

    Reep is so adorable!!!

  24. Elenatintil says:

I have to say I don't really like it… the pacing seems off. Does it seem unfinished to anyone else?

    • NarnianAllTheWay says:

I'm sure it's unfinished. I could tell because there was no music in the background & there will most likely be music in the actual movie.

      • Daniel James says:

If you look at the soundtrack, which I have on Youtube (my channel is: Awanaismylife), track 12 is called Duel. It sounds almost like an Irish jig, and I love it! That's the music that will be playing during this scene. The clip we have is unfinished.

  25. pselpevensie says:

    LOVE THE SCENE ALREADY 🙂

  26. Scarlet13 says:

Love it! we are soooooooo going to laugh alot in this movie 🙂

  27. MagnificentKing says:

Truthfully I really wish the name of this clip was "Eustace Steals Water" and that "battle" does not at all live up to my expectations but over all i like the glimpse into what the movie is to become… I am worried about what they will turn Narnia into but I have seen enough to be hopeful for the outcome

  28. QueenLucyTheValiant says:

    I hate Reepicheep's voicee. D:

  29. wolfloversk says:

Wooh Awesome! Can't hear anything cause I'm in the dining hall…ahhh!

  30. Susan the Gentle says:

I don't mean to be negative or anything but I'm still not a fan of Reepicheeps new voice it's just not what I imagine. Only 9 more days 🙂

  31. Fire Fairy says:

I love it! It's better than I imagined. It is a little weird that Eustace steals an orange, but it is a bit easier on screen than water. I love how Reep's teaching him how to fight while at the same time satisfiying his want for a duel. Can't wait to see the finished product! Btw, is it just me, or does Reep's tail seem longer?

    • Not Of This World says:

I still think that Edie Izard had the best voice for him, but it sounds a lot better then I thought he would sound like. Go Simmon Pegg!

  32. Justin says:

There is some sort of writing wrapped around the main mast. There is a larger ring of text above. Smaller words beneath. Anyone make it out?

  33. LOL I can't wait to see this one on the big screen! XD 😀 🙂 :O 😀

  34. Tribunal says:

That voice will take a while to get use to to..

  35. Shastafan says:

This whole scene rocks! I cannot wait to see the rest of it! 😉

  36. stateofgreen says:

Love this! There must be The Silver Chair next!

  37. Tarwe, the Narnian Elf says:

Oh no! Another clip that I can not watch! I just have to keep telling myself that it is only 9 more days, 9 more long days!

What is Eustace holding? A butcher knife?! Oh well, Reep can handle himself! 😉

  38. Noogah says:

The visuals in this scene are utterly flawless.

  39. Edson07bs says:

OMG!!! Loved it! What a good quality!!!

  40. Fan of the Just King says:

EEEK! I tried so hard not to let myself watch this as I see the movie tomorrow, but, hey, I couldn't resist, and I say, I LOVE IT!!!!!!! I am very eagerly anticipating the movie's release tomorrow, it's only showing in 3D in my cinema, oh well, at least I get to see it. Sail on VotDT, and a happy holidays and Merry Christmas to all!

  41. Reepicheep says:

Eddie Izzard should never have dropped out. So ashamed.

  42. lucyrocks17 says:

I do not like reep's voice why did eddie izzard drop out?

  43. Starlily says:

I'm not 100% satisfied with Reep's voice, 'cause he sounds quite swashbuckling and in the book he's a little more prim. But I still love the clip. 😀 Eustace is great, the action looks good (though on my slow computer it's really jerky), and I love the Minotaur and Drinian. I'm sure I'll like Reep well enough in the movie, like I did in PC. Overall, big thumbs up! 😀

  44. WarriorOfNarnia says:

OH, that was great, I loved the part when Eustace is running around on the deck, no music though.

  45. Sammie says:

Singlehandedly my favorite clip so far, and I LOVED the transition into Narnia. This clip, however, is just fantastic. While I prefer Eddie Izzard's voice, Simon Pegg does a fine job, imho. As someone mentioned, the look on Drinian's face as he catches that orange – lol! I sincerely hope they bring him back, at least for flashbacks, if they do "Silver Chair".

  46. Nathan says:

    That was stupid.

  47. Annabeth says:

awww, eustace is so cute! (so is Reep 🙂 )

  48. ArantxaAlv says:

    Poor Eustace!!!!

  49. Michael says:

    I'm totally loving this!!! 😀

  50. Kelly says:

I really want to see the film now and I have more confidence in Will's acting too. 🙂 But wish they'd kept Eddie Izzard for Reep's voice.

  51. Annabeth says:

awww, eustace is so cute (so is Reep :))

  52. McKenzie says:

I wish they hadn't replaced the actor who played reepicheep last time… i like his voice much better.

  53. Caleb says:

This Might sound weird to you…I NEED SPOILERS TO KEEP ME ALIVE. I NEED this kind of stuff.

    • High Queene Shelly Belly says:

not weird at all! me too! but now it's so close, i'm not going to spoil it for myself, especially reviews- everyone is so cynical these days..

  54. HUGEFANOFNARNIA19786 says:

I don't like Reep's voice. Eddie Izard did a much better job. Reep is a warrior not some singing dancing disney mouse.

  55. Atarah says:

Wish they had brought back Eddie Izzard. This guy sounds way too different. Reepicheep is not Basil Stag Hare.

  56. haha! love this clip!

  57. Aslans-mane says:

love the clip!!! sooooo funny. i like how eustace thinks reep falls overboard but is standing right next to him…LOVE IT!!!! =p
