Walden’s Narnia Films Coming to Hallmark Channel

Beginning on March 15, Walden Family Theater will start airing every Friday night on the Hallmark Channel. Walden president Micheal Flaherty said:

“Walden Family Theater is a great step forward for us to continue the Walden mission. These great films we are presenting on The Hallmark Channel and/or making with ARC reinforces our vision to provide families a chance to recapture imagination and rekindle curiosity through entertainment. These films will stand side by side with some of our proudest features like our Narnia moviesHoles, Bridge to Terabithia, Amazing Grace, and Journey to the Center Of The Earth.”

All those other movies listed are AWESOME! I am in love with Bridge to Terabithia, and I love Journey to the Center of the Earth so much! Holes and Amazing Grace are incredible too. Walden Media makes such good movies. Continue Narnia, please? I've had so many visions of how Silver Chair could be!

  3. Sounds great! I just hope Narnia really appears on their lineup soon.

Are there any updates on "The Lion Awakes"? The Facebook page and website have disappeared (in the last 2 weeks). The latter says "this account has been suspended."

100% agreed! Bridge to Terabithia is one of the best movies ever, and then there's Narnia, one of the best series ever. Life is sweet. 🙂

They consider VDT one of their proudest features? Maybe its a good thing they probly wont be making SC

If Walden Media wants to save their top grossing franchise, they should do Gresham's decision as Narnia 4 to be the Silver Chair and follow the true story of the book.

They should make Narnia 4 now. however, Terabithia and Journey 1 & 2 are also great films! Great news to revisit Narnia, but it will be better if we'll revisit Narnia in Narnia 4….

I acutually liked Bridge to Terabithia, pretty good film I can say. Some Walden films are good, but I actually always felt Walen can deliver but ocassionaly que make some pretty awful films. Its starnge for them to have such inconsistencies.

Can't say i love a Walden Media movie, except for the Narnia movies. I saw Bridge to Terabithia but thought it was a bit dull and not engaging. The Narnia movies are their only A movies, all the others are kind of B-movies.
