HarperCollins to Start ”Read Prince Caspian” Campaign

HarperCollins is urging people to read the book before they see Walden Media’s Prince Caspian in theaters. According to theBookseller.com, HarperCollins is trying to integrate digital marketing and social networking into this campaign — including already-existing fan sites — as well as launching a dedicated website, http://www.discovernarnia.co.uk/ (going live on February 21).

HarperCollin’s movie tie-in materials include activity, puzzle and coloring books, young reader editions and new titles including The Chronology of Narnia, The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian Official Illustrated Movie Companion, The Crafting of Narnia and others. The publisher hopes to “convert Narnia film-goers into fans of the books on a global scale.” We wish the campaign much success!
