PC’s Box Office Earnings in Australia

While waiting on Box Office Mojo to update its Prince Caspian foreign box office page, here are the official numbers in from Australia.

It has been some time since we’ve seen four blockbusters jousting at the top of the Australian box office. But exhibitors must be smiling as Sex and The City opened with a weekend take of $8.031 million, ahead of The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, with $4.446 million. Even better was Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull making another $3.154million for a $22.861 million total box office. Meanwhile Iron Man continues to fly with another $625,228 for a total Australian take of $18.946 million.

Prince Caspian premiered in Australia on June 5th.
