HarperCollins Announces New Deluxe Edition of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe for 2026
Something new and shiny for Narnia lovers!
HarperCollins has announced a new deluxe edition of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe for release next year.
This new look for C.S. Lewis’s classic story features the iconic illustrations of Pauline Baynes overlaid with shimmering “snow-like” foil on the jacket and case, and also includes full-color endpapers, digitally printed edges, and full-color interior chapter artwork by Baynes.
The new edition releases on June 16th, 2026 and is currently priced at $24.99 USD.
Beautiful! Do I need another LWW edition? Probably not…but it’s so pretty…ignore the call, ignore the call…okay, minimalist me lost. I’m so getting it when it comes out!

Regardless of one’s opinion on the coming movie, a welcome side benefit is that new readers are introduced to Narnia by the advertisement of new book editions, and those who are already fans get to appreciate the new designs.
I can see me getting this, it looks great.
They wonder why LWW is the best-selling Narnia book by far, yet they hardly ever release the other books individually to add to their sales total… a real catch 22.
@HTP, one can buy the books individually. They’re not only sold in box sets. But I agree, it would be nice to get some deluxe editions of the other 6 🙂

Espero que seja mais parecido com a versão de Martins Fontes porque esses últimos de edição de luxo estão cheios de erros de português, que na minha opinião muito resumida e com partes excluÃdas e mudadas.
Pra mim o melhor de todos continua sendo o livro preto Volume Único de Martins Fontes. Não tem nada de luxo, mas é bem mais completo.
