Advice: Auditioning For the Role of Jill Pole

Since the release of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, we at NarniaWeb have received almost daily inquiries about auditioning for the role of Jill Pole in The Silver Chair. After the release of The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, these inquiries have risen to almost unbelievable levels. We wanted to take this opportunity to give some information about the film industry and answer the questions that folks may have about how to acquire a role.

Pre-Production and Greenlighting

Before casting begins for a film, there are several steps that take place. A script is written (or at least begun), the story is pitched to the studio, and the studio then “greenlights” the film, which means that the production is formally approved and financed. After the film is greenlit, it then enters pre-production, during which the script is finalized and plans are made for the actual shooting of the film. It is during this pre-production stage that casting is done.

Casting and Auditions

The casting process for The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe was somewhat unique in that casting director Pippa Hall held many public auditions when searching for the four Pevensie children. These auditions were generally held at schools around the UK, with children from the drama clubs being invited to attend. This is not typical, though, and usually a casting director will work directly with agents and industry contacts to come up with a list of potential actors to fill a specific role. Several actors are given auditions and the director and producers together decide which one will best play the part. This is the way that Will Poulter was cast for the role of Eustace.

Occasionally there will be open auditions for extras at a film location shoot. When that information becomes available we always post it at NarniaWeb.

Silver Chair Status

The future of the Narnia movies depends on the box office results for each film. If The Voyage of the Dawn Treader doesn’t do well enough in theaters, it is likely that there will not be any further Narnia films. If it is successful (and no one is sure exactly what the threshold of success is in the eyes of the studio), then Walden and Fox will likely move forward and attempt to get another Narnia film greenlit.

In interviews the producers have mentioned that they are considering The Silver Chair as well as The Magician’s Nephew for the next film. This could mean that The Silver Chair would be skipped or passed over temporarily, or that both films could be made at the same time. There are any number of possibilities, but the reality is that the future of the franchise and The Silver Chair is very much in limbo right now. It also goes without saying that production for The Silver Chair has not been greenlit and is not currently looking for any actors for the simple reason that there is no production.

Advice

If you are interested in auditioning for the role of Jill Pole or any other character in a Narnia film, the best advice that we can give is to 1) get involved with a local drama group to hone your skills and 2) hire an agent who can acquire an audition for you with the casting director when the time comes. There likely won’t be any public auditions. This is simply the way that Hollywood works.

Another question that we are often asked is about what the producers are looking for. Again, since there are no producers and no production (yet), we have no idea. During the casting process for The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, Pippa Hall was quoted as saying that she felt that there were so many brilliant British actors that there was no need to look for someone who could “fake” a British accent. So our expectation is that the producers would probably look to the UK first to fill the role of Jill Pole.

Conclusion

To sum this all up, The Silver Chair has not yet been greenlit so there are no roles yet to be filled. If you are interested in auditioning for a role when one becomes available, we recommend that you hire an agent who can acquire an audition for you when the time comes. Good luck!

Oh wow…how I have dreamed of this…..I suppose there is no chance of anybody looking for people in the US….sigh…that is one problem of living here and not there…ah well

    • Rilian says:

Actually, the runner-up for the role of Peter Pevensie was a New Zealander. He lost the role (supposedly) because he didn't look as much like a sibling to the other three the way Moseley did. He still got a cameo shot in the film as the young soldier Peter sees getting off the train (actor Jaxin Hall).

      • Gem says:

Yeah, but New Zealanders sound a little bit more like the British than us Americans do.

      • NextJillPole says:

Thats why you practice your British accent, like I am doing!

      • yeswelovenarnia says:

Yeah…I have been practicing my british accent since I was 9 (im 16 now) and I love doing one!! I still dont think they will have casting calls in the US…and prob not anywhere where I live…ah well. its still fun to dream πŸ™‚
(thats an interesting bit about Peter..thnx!)

      • Who said Jill has to be British? A good many British schools have exchange students from all over the world, based on their academic reputation.

      • Sui-Lun says:

I've lived in Hong Kong, where the teachers insist that I give up my American accent and sound British. I guess I can thank them now…

  2. QueenSusanJ316 says:

I wish they would film in the USA so that I could audition as an extra as I am not British so would probably not be able to be Jill. I wonder what age they would look for in lady of the green kirtle?

    • NextJillPole says:

      Most likely an adult

      • QueenSusanJ316 says:

Do you think around 20 is too young?

      • Lucy Pesive says:

I think it's a teenager that should play because Will Poulter is only 17 and it's impossible if an adult play it.

      • PuddleCheep says:

Well, I always thought of her as older but then Rillian falls in love (kind of) with her and he's supposed to be pretty young when that happens so why not twenty?

      • Lucy Pesive says:

because in Narnia: The Silver Chair Jill Pole is still going to school and always been bully so the player should be a teenager or a kid

      • Narnian_Dreamer says:

        @Lucy Pesive,
I am not sure you are understanding them correctly. They are talking about being the Lady of The Green Kirtle not Jill Pole. They were asking wether 20 would be to young for TLotGK. I really enjoy this information thank you,Tirian!

      • Lucy Pesive says:

Well I only can say Good Luck πŸ˜€ sorry for the Misunderstanding.

      • Not Of This World says:

I'm guessing Rilian was arround 20 when he was put under the spell. Add 10 years, and he's 30. I'm guessing the Lady of the Green Kirtle would be around the same age.

      • -QueenofNarnia- says:

I don't know how true this is, but I think there have been some debates about whether the Lady of the Green Kirtle and the White Witch are the same person, and I think in the old bbc versions they used the same actress. So maybe Tilda Swinton will play her? just a thought.

      • Not Of This World says:

To Queen of Narnia: Dougles Greshem just said in an interview that they were going to probebly cast a new person as the Lady of the Green Kirtle and they probebly wern't going to use the White Witch as the LotGK.

      • -QueenofNarnia- says:

That's a shame, I think Tilda would have really suited the part, and it would have added an interesting twist.

      • Book Expert says:

Well, in the book it talks about how the Lady of the green Kirtle has to be a long liver because she knew what the message was when it was cut. So she was most likely look around 30 but was 100s of years old.

  3. Lucy of Narnia says:

Well…this is interesting. I hope that, because Fox is in the US, that maybe some auditions will come over here. Any chance of that, Narniaweb mods? πŸ˜€

    • yeswelovenarnia says:

ohhhh I didnt think about that!! I hope so!

    • coracle says:

They didn't cast americans for VDT – but they did cast some Australians and New Zealanders, because they filmed in Australia. Keep an eye out for anything being filmed in the place where you live!

  4. sgk474 says:

I just wanted to say that I saw Dawn Treader in the UK today and thought it was the most magical, inspiring film I have ever seen! I have loved 'Narnia' since I was small and i have read the books numerous times – I was in heaven today watching it! I was quietly please with how many folk werte there considering we have had 10 inches of snow here in the last few days and our towns, restaurants, cinemas etc are like ghost towns. For Narnia and for Aslan!

    • sgk474 says:

Sorry for the typing errors πŸ™‚

    • thenextJillPole says:

I wanted to say I saw Narnia: The Dawn Treader today, and Iloved it! I had always imagined seeing it..thinking about how the movive would be.., but it was 11100000000% BETTER than I had ever dreamed of!! Ever since I was little I've LOVED Narnia. I am actually, thinking about being Jill Pole.
I am 16, in Jan. I'll be 17, and I can do a really good british accent.., been doin' one since I have very little.
I can find out the information about Jill..that I have to know about her to be her.., but I'm giving this a shot.

  5. Gem says:

Like millions of other girls, I would love to be Jill. I know that won't happen, but never say never, right? Still I think there is more of a chance of being an American actor and getting a part in SC than there was in LWW or even PC.

  6. KingSkandartheJust says:

I've allways wanted to be in a Narnia movie and I've got a good fake English accent the problem is I don't have an agent *sigh*

  7. KingSkandartheJust says:

I've always wanted to be in a Narnia movie and I've got a good fake English accent the problem is I don't have an agent *sigh*

  8. Shastafan says:

That was cool to read how it works. I'm one who really wants to be Jill, but I'm not from the UK, and I bet someone could do it better than I. So, good luck if SC is greenlit, and I can't wait to see you as Jill if you get the part. πŸ˜‰

  9. Princess Jennifer says:

I would LOVE to play as Aravis, the girl in the Horse and his Boy. That would be so cool !!!

    • DancingInRain says:

I know it would be so awesome to play Aravis! I would love to play either one!

      • Princess Jennifer says:

Yeah, Polly would be cool too. I wonder who will play as Jill ? Who do you want to play as Jill ? What if actors were on here and looking for us !!! I can do a british accent pretty good.

      • Dancinginrain says:

I don't know. I haven't thought about what actress would be good for jill. But I know that Jill will probably have brown hair. I think I might have a better shot for Aravis. Cause I have long dark brown hair and I have hazel-green eyes and can do a British accent, but shes an Tarkheena, do they need a accent? But the horrid part is I don't have a drama thing cause Im homeschooled:( but unless your with a group that does but I,..dont. plus the place were I WAS going to do some acting they didnt get enough people so thats very bad for me. plus I'll be at least 16 or 17 so I think the age then would be good for try and play Aravis. Goodluck to you!

    • Northernranger says:

She is my favorite out of all the books. I would LOVE to play her. Maybe I could audition for her when the make that one. Though I might be to old by then, depending on wnem they make it,I am 17 now but look younger. But I think I look the part, I am slightly tall for my age (hopefully still growing), my skin looks tan all the time, and I have really long, wavy black hair!

  10. the other Pevensie girl says:

Wow, how amazing would it be to be in a Narnia film?! I think I'd rather be Aravis than Jill, to be honest, though either would be unfathomably incredible. It'd be really cool to possibly work with the original cast a bit, since the Pevensies are all in HHB (no offence, Eustace!). Too bad that by the time HHB rolls around, I'll be, like, 21…fail. (x It'll be interesting to see who gets the roll of Jill though, if the film is greenlit. Hopefully someone whose acting talents match that of Will Poulter's!

    • Queen Elizabeth says:

I have to say that I love your screen name… very creative. I like the sound of it πŸ™‚

      • the other Pevensie girl says:

        why thank you! πŸ˜€

      • Edmund's Queen says:

Yes it is quite original! I wouldn't want to be a Pevensie though, 'cause then I couldn't marry Edmund!
I recently got involved in my small town's drama program, and I would LOVE to be cast as Jill, but I don't have the money for an agent and I don't live in the UK. But you know, Elijah Wood was cast in the mostly British Lord of the Rings, and he's American. But then again, he's also a wonderful actor.
Ah, well, if I can't be in the movie, perhaps I could write a song to play at the end of it, I'm gonna work on that because I can write songs!

      • the other Pevensie girl says:

Unless, of course, I HAD married Edmund, in which case, my last name would be Pevensie.. hence username. ;D Unfortunately, I haven't quite accomplished that feat yet, so I suppose for now it is simply a creative username, haha. Edmund's Queen – Ooo! You write songs too? πŸ˜€ I wrote one based off of VDT, but for some reason they found that some famous country singer who is actually a recording artist was more apt for the credits song.. sheeeesh.. (x It would be so amazing to have a song in a film, especially a Narnia one!

      • Edmund's Queen says:

Yeah, I'd never considered you would already be married to him, lol. I migh could marry Edmund, but not Skandar. I read on several websites that he's an atheist. I'm a Christian, so that would not work. πŸ™

      • the other Pevensie girl says:

Yeah, I did too, that's a huge bummer since he seems like a pretty nice guy! D: I consolidated by making a pact to pray for him every day last August. I'm really holding out for him to come to Christ someday! (:

      • Queen Elizabeth says:

        I will to πŸ™‚

      • Edmund's Queen says:

Good idea guys; I'll be praying too. With God, all things are possible. Never lose hope. πŸ™‚

      • the other Pevensie girl says:

Amen! It's good to know I'm not alone haha. Oh, and Merry Christmas! πŸ˜€

      • Edmund's Queen says:

I wonder just how many girls there are out there praying for Skandar…
That's cool you wrote a VDT song. I have written three verses for Silver Chair, and it's coming along quite well.

      • Queen Elizabeth says:

Once you're done PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE post your song πŸ˜‰

      • Edmund's Queen says:

I would love to post the song (I may name it "Changed") but I'm afraid that if I did, someone would steal it. Maybe I could record myself singing it and post it on youtube, then tell you about it through narniaweb. Maybe that'll work. Of course, if I can figure out how to send it to the movie people and they decide to use it, you can hear it in the movie. That's my hope! πŸ™‚

      • Queen Elizabeth says:

        Sounds like a plan! πŸ™‚

    • Mrs. Skandar Keynes says:

If I got into one of the TCoN films, then I wouldn't care what role I got, as long as I get to meet Skandar Keynes (as you can see from the username) πŸ™‚

      • Annabeth says:

how come no one likes Will Poultler? sure he looks about 10 in the movie and he sounds like an 8 year old little girl πŸ™‚ but he got several inches talled, got an ADORABLE buzz cut, wears cool leather jackets, and wants to be a super hero, and man, he is CUTE! πŸ˜€

      • Edmund's Queen says:

Ugghh, I can't stand buzz cuts. I like, love, Will as an actor, but not as some hot guy that I think of all the time. I've got Skandar for that!

      • Jag says:

Me and my sister met skander walking through a busy shopping centre on the Gold Coast when they were here (australia) filming, we got a photo with him and he was really nice to us and asked us how we were n stuff! And my sister got all mushy cause he had his arm up against hers when our dad was taking the photo… So now i joke to her about her boyfriend Skandy Candy! Haha

      • Edmund's Queen says:

OOOOHHHH MY GOSH! You are SO lucky! Randomly running into Skandar at the mall!? That's like something I would dream of! And you sister…his arm was against hers?! WOW!

    • FaunFan says:

I look NOTHING like Jill, and I'm not British, so I'm not even going to think about auditioning. However, I would love to play Aravis! She's awesome, and I look a lot like I imagine her to look. I'm not an actress, and I don't have an agent or anything, but if there were open casting calls, I would consider showing up!

    • the other Pevensie girl says:

I hope there are tons! It'd be so cool if there was an army of prayer warriors. (: Oh, that sounds neat! Do you sing/play an instrument too, or just write?

      • Edmund's Queen says:

        That does sound cool. πŸ™‚
I play the mandolin and guitar, and am teaching myself piano. I usually use guitar when songwriting though. I want to get a harp, 'cause it seems more Narnian. Do you play any instruments?

  11. NextJillPole says:

Though I'm American (just a small feature), I'm want to audition for Jill (as you can see from my username). I have been saving money for years for a plane ticket to London and I am going to find an agent soon. I'm practicing my British accent – also for years. Hopefully that will help me at least get into the auditioning process. But I might be too old, because I read somewhere that they want 13 to 15 year olds, and I'll be 16 by the time the auditions roll around……………………… And I see I will be competing against some very dedicated fellow Americans for the role. May the best Jill win!

    • I'm almost 20, however, I'm a petite built, slim figured female, with a decent faux-British accent…I think i could pull it off…maybe i'll see you there…well, break a leg!

      • Edmund's Queen says:

It's so cool to see such dedicated Narnia fans, even as adults! I'm 16, and will likely remain a Narnian dreamer the rest of my life. πŸ™‚

    • Ariomoftheseas says:

i am pure english, 13 years old and my life long dream since i was 6 has been to get up there on the screen. but the problem is, i live in switzerland πŸ™ , which means i have even less chance to get the part than people in the US do.. well, good luck to anyone who does audition!

    • HereItsJillPole says:

I'm 14! but i'm from mexico&i don't have an agent πŸ™ good luck to everyone πŸ˜€ hope i can get an agent soon..

  12. Apparently I'm not a girl, so I can't audition, but I do know someone who might play the part well….
I was thinking if she could do a British accent, Annasophia Robb would be perfect.

    • Queen Elizabeth says:

I was thinking the exact same thing!!!! πŸ™‚ How weird is that? My sister thinks Dakota Fanning would be good, but I'm thinking probably not.

      • Edmund's Queen says:

Gosh, I'd never even thought of them! I guess I was to busy thinking of who should be Rilian. πŸ™‚ Does it say in the book whether Jill has blond hair? 'Cause I think everyone imagines her blond, and I'm brunette. πŸ™ It was more of a daydream anyway. I would like to be in HHB, though. Or any Narnia movie. It'd just be so amazing to be a part of something that I love so much. If they brought Skandar back for HHB, though, I would probably have a hard time focusing on my acting because I'd always want to be looking at him! Oh, speaking of Skandie, he is in the current issue of J-14 for their "Hot Guy Alert". It's about time they got some real heroes in that magazine. I'm so sick of sullen, blood-thirsty, vampires and ab-flaunting wer-wolfs.

      • Bother Eustace says:

^ Actually, I always imagine Jill as brunette, cause Camilla Powers was brunette in the BBC version.

      • Cynical Narnia Fanboy says:

        I would recommend Saiorse Ronan…

      • Edmund's Queen says:

That's encouraging, Brother Eustace. Now that I think of it, though, hair color probably won't matter too much.

    • Gem says:

They are both too blonde, too short, and too American. We can't have a high-end celebrity or diva playing Jill.

      • mary says:

No high-end celebrities, true, but Jill is described as short and slight in the books. As to hair color, I always pictured her as dark blonde/light brown, because of the Pauline Baynes illustrations. But I do agree they may well go for a darker-haired girl, since Will Poulter is so blond.

      • Agreed, Gem. Skandar, Will, Willam, Anna, and Georgie, were not well-known actors, so when watching the movie, you couldn't go "Hey! She was in such-n-such" or "Didn't he play the madman in this movie?" That really added to the originality of the movies- for me, anyway. ;/

      • Agreed, Gem. Skandar, Will, William, Anna, and Georgie, were not well-known actors, so when watching the movie, you couldn't go "Hey! She was in such-n-such" or "Didn't he play the madman in this movie?" That really added to the originality of the movies- for me, anyway. ;/

      • sorry about the double-up…

      • Gem says:

Mary- I always thought of Jill as being tall and skinny and bony, that's why the bullies tease her and call her Pole, not only because it's her last name but because it fits how she looks physically. And yes, I think Jill should have light brown hair.

    • Annabeth says:

no, Annasophia Robb has acted in too many American movies, she doesn't seem like the right kind of actress for Jill, that is, to me πŸ™‚

    • narnian resident says:

ever since seeing British actress Eliza Bennett, i imagined her as a great Jill Pole. she played in Inkheart, and although the movie itself isnt all spectacular, she is very talented and did a wonderful job. i believe she's been in other movies, and is about the same age as Will Poulter is. i'd say a good option right there

      • Hwin says:

I think that Eliza Bennett is lined up for the next Inkheart film (Inkspell), but I am not totally sure.

  13. Dancinginrain says:

Thats Awesome. I don't have a group around here that I can get my acting skills up and, I have no idea how to get an agent. sigh. So Whoever Gets to be Jill Pole you need to work hard, and do a great job because she's my favorite character for some reason. But Who knows πŸ™‚

  14. I really, really hope they get an experienced young film actress to play Jill. Will Poulter already had proven that he could act in The Son of Rambow before they hired him for Eustace. Because of that they knew they weren't taking a real chance with a very important role. Jill is also a very important role–too important to take a chance on with someone who has never acted impressively in a motion picture before. Please, Walden, no unknowns.

    • polly plummer 2 B says:

well i dont know, look at georgie henley on lww!

    • Gem says:

Yes indeed, what about Georgie? I think it would be worse to get a pampered film educated actress for Jill. They need to get someone who has real talent, but unknown talent, meaning she hasn't grown up affected by Hollywood.

      • Queen Elizabeth says:

Once I think about it I actually have to agree with Gem. We need a new face. When Georgie, Will, Skandar, and Anna first signed on to LWW I had never heard of them. I love seeing a fresh new face.

      • coracle says:

We need a competent young English actress who can believably act young teen, who has done some filming but definitely who hasn't been spoiled by Hollywood – I am glad to say most English actors don't get spoiled by Hollywood. πŸ™‚

      • Queen Elizabeth says:

We need someone who is fun and down-to-earth like Georgie πŸ™‚ And she needs to be mature enough to do a good job, acting in a Narnia film is a great honor.

      • Annabeth says:

Totally agreed! by the way, does anyone know (or think, since i guess you can't REALLY know πŸ™‚ ) if Aravis is supposed to have a British accent?

      • Princess Jennifer says:

I think someone blonde or red haired would be good. Wich that illimanates me because I am more of a brown haired. And I think short to medium sized hair, and mine is long. Maybe I could play in another movie. ( Hopefully Narnia )

      • Princess Jennifer says:

I think she could be english or british it doesn"t really matter.

      • Gem says:

Sorry Annabeth, Aravis is from Calormen, and the Calormenes' culture is more of a Middle Eastern sort, not British.

  15. Queen Elizabeth says:

I can do a really good Brittish accent, no lie. But I would probably not be a very good actress even though I am very out-going. I'm more of a behind the scenes person. If they make all of the films I would be graduated by the time they make The Last Battle or Magicians Nephew, so I could maybe help on set with it. That would be my DREAM!

    • Queen Elizabeth says:

I'd be more like a fawn lol or a townsperson with sweet sword skills, since I fence and have some wicked sword skills. I wouls love to be in an action scene (I'm really athletic)

      • Princess Jennifer says:

Totally !! I would Love to play as Aravis or Polly. I hope you get to be a director in one of the movies..Or if you would make my books into movies !!!

      • Queen Elizabeth says:

Maybe someday πŸ™‚ I'll look you up once I go pro lol

      • Princess Jennifer says:

Thanks !! But if we personally knew each other that would work so perfect !! I would also like to be an actor and since you want to be a director, it would work great !!!!

      • Edmund's Queen says:

OMG, Princess Jen, you write? I do too! I've written a short story about fairies and a unicorn, and one about a griffin, and I plan to write a long one with elves and dragons. I am so gonna create a blog. I want to talk with you and Queen E and Skandar the Great and The Other Pevensie Girl more!

      • Queen Elizabeth says:

You could write about all of us and our love for Narnia and how it has affected our lives πŸ™‚ Like, I didn't want to be a director until I saw Andrew Adamson.

      • Princess Jennifer says:

Seriously ? Oh COOL !!!!! I am beginning to write more too !!! I have already wrote a whole book !!! It is about a horse and a girl. I wrote it when I was 11. I am 12 now. You should publish your book !!! My book isn"t published yet.

      • Queen Elizabeth says:

I've written a few books too πŸ™‚ A series of books about a girl group of secret agents, and a book that takes place in the times of kings and queens πŸ™‚

      • Princess Jennifer says:

Are they published yet ? Even if not, that is so cool !!!!

      • Edmund's Queen says:

I have a friend who has published a book of poetry. It's called "Take Time…" You two should check it out. You can get it at Amazon and Barnes and Noble.com. It is so cool to talk to people who share my interests! I might make a good director, Queen Elizabeth, since I'm the oldest child in my family and therefore good at bossing around. XD

      • Queen Elizabeth says:

I'm the oldest in my family too! And no I haven't published any, just for school stuff. And I do like things being a certain way so that would make me a good director too πŸ™‚

      • Princess Jennifer says:

I Promise !!! I am the oldest too !!!! I am the oldest of four !!! We all have so much in common !!!!

      • Edmund's Queen says:

Wouldn't it be so awesome if God brought us together here for a reason? Like, maybe we're all meant to do some movie or something together. "we have an extraordinary destiny, something greater than we could've imagined…" πŸ™‚

      • Queen Elizabeth says:

I'm liking the sound of that πŸ™‚ But we all live so far away, maybe in the future when we are out of college we fill randomly run into each other at a narnia convention or something lol

      • Princess Jennifer says:

You never know !!!! That was a cool idea Edmond's Queen !!! I wonder if like Queen Elizabeth said we would meet !! That would be so cool !! And by the way, this IS me !! I hope that "Handsome " guy doesn"t come back !!! What on earth was he talking about ?

      • Edmund's Queen says:

I know that was really odd. You know, girls, though we may not ever meet each other in this world, we shall meet in Aslan's country…Heaven! I looked out my window early this morning and saw a beautiful bright golden light in the sky. It was likely Venus or some morning star, but at first I seriously think Christ was returning. It was really thrilling!

      • Edmund's Queen says:

Oops, I meant to say "thought" instead of "think". Anyway, PJ, what Handsome, or whoever that was, was talking about isn't really something that should be spoken of on Narnia Web. It's what some people may call "adult content."

      • Princess Jennifer says:

Oh, Sorry !! I can"t believe you saw that neat light !!! Today when I woke up, The birds were singing, the sun was shining, it was as if I were in Narnia !!! ( I just had a dream about Narnia before I woke up !!) It was so cool !!! I hope we meet too one day !! Although I know it might be ODD since were ODDBALLS !!! We are ODDBALL BUDDIES !!! LOL !!!

      • Ariomoftheseas says:

Hey Queen Elizabeth, if you are really athletic and have some sweet sword skills, I suggest you go for being a stuntdouble! that would be so much fun πŸ™‚

      • Queen Elizabeth says:

That is an amazing idea!!! πŸ™‚ I've never thought of that! They are filming several 'super hero' films here in Michigan this coming 2011, I could maybe go to the set and see if they needs some extras, and get a career going! And since I'm 15 I could maybe be a stunt double for Jill, even though she doesn't do a TON of fighting. Thanks for the ideas Ariomoftheseas. (I hope I spelled that right)

      • Edmund's Queen says:

That is so fantastic that you can fence! I've been wanting to learn fencing and archery for a while now, but I can't find any classes. But I'll keep looking, and I'm also looking out for english longbows.

      • Queen Elizabeth says:

I don't do fencing anymore though, I used to. I have a long bow, it's light brown wood with green tips. Me and my dad always so shoot them, at a target we draw in the hay on the side of the barn, (Next to my house) The woods are right next to us with a feild in between so It's like I'm Susan πŸ™‚

      • Princess Jennifer says:

I can fence too !!! kind of, I"ve read a book on fenicing and know some of the skills, but I can"t do it too well, I don"t get any lessons because I can"t find any !!! lol !!! But I can do archery.

      • Edmund's Queen says:

So lucky! I'm going to do some serious Narnian soldier training this spring and summer! There, that's my New Year's resolution. XD

      • Queen Elizabeth says:

My new year's resolution = I will definetly attemp to film a high action sword fight scene (I will direct and be one of the actors) Using our wooden swords of course. ( I don't want to hurt anyone) Did I mention I'm gonna get my dad to make a replica of Ed's sword from VDT πŸ™‚ He thinks I'm obsessed but he has the supplies lol

      • Queen Elizabeth says:

Some day when we are adults or there is a Narnia convention. We will give each other our names and meet it a fabulous reunion. The Narnia Trio! And we can't forget Not of This World too πŸ™‚ If I'm in the film buisness by then you guys will totally have to get roles :)I'm actually (ack-chellay) might be attending a film camp this summer πŸ™‚

      • Edmund's Queen says:

Dang, that's so cool! Some friends of mine (two brothers) are in the market for a professional camera and they've asked me to be thinking of a storyline for a movie. They've also said I could act in it. So, 2011 could be a busy year for me! πŸ™‚ I can't wait to meet you guys someday. We'll have to keep our eyes open for Narnia conventions. Or maybe we could all go to the London premier of HHB, if they make it.

  16. NarnianRebel says:

I have always wanted to act in a movie. Not for popularity but I think it would be fun to see differant places and meet lots of actors/people. I am 14, and can do a decent british accent and kinda look like Jill in the books but here are my problems 1) I live in a little town in Indiana; I am to shy to do anything in front of people (though I might join the Indiana high school rodeo) and, I have never been to a drama camp and I don't have an agent. But oh well. Maybe someday. I also think Annasophia would be a good Jill. Isn't she to old though?

  17. Queen Elizabeth's little sis says:

I'm 12. Can I join the preteen Skandar loving club? I really like Will P. the most, but I also like Skandar. But not as much as my sis (who is queen elizabeth).

    • Queen Elizabeth says:

Wow sis, way to be subtle lol. Glad you're finally on here though πŸ™‚ Even though I doubt you will write on here that much.

    • Princess Jennifer says:

COOL !!!!!!!!! I"m 12 too !!!! What if like Queen Elizabeth and Edmond"s queen started a teen club, lets start a preteen club !!! Although you might not right much, I will look forward to seeing what you have to say !!!!!!

    • Edmund's Queen says:

I have an announcement: 12 Year Olds Are Welcome into NTC (Narnian Teen Club). You're almost there and twelve year olds are wonderful people. (This is okay with you, right vice president Elizabeth?)

  18. samuel says:

I wonder if the open auditions at the beginning had anything to do with building the popularity, and if fox doing open auditions for Jill would help continue the series

  19. lady of paravell says:

i recon that they SHOULD choose anentirely new actress. they've got to give others a go too. i wonder if i'll have an agent by the time tMN comes around…

  20. lady of paravell says:

a tip to all of u. watch alot of english movies, their sense of humour if very different to americans. its also
gr8 4 picking up the accent. good luck!;D

  21. yeswelovenarnia says:

I think they should get an entirely new actress to play Jill…or someone with good acting skills but hasn't played in much…like Will P. I

  22. I am more into getting the role of Polly then Jill. Polly is my favorite character and people say I can act well as her but if I ever was Jill I would still be happy… :p

    • Lady Polly says:

Lol same hear americangirlemmie, for some reason Polly has always been my favourite and I’d prefer to play her than Jill not that I’m ever going to act, i don’t know why but she just is πŸ™‚

  23. WillMo for_the_win says:

Just do not get an unknown, period. I was wishing that Saoirse Ronan gets the part of Jill Pole, but I was thinking that she may not get the role because Peter Jackson wants her for The Hobbit. I also thought of Dakota Blue Richards but her new show Skins isn't really for younger kids. She was good in Golden Compass.

  24. They should totally make the silver chair and magician's nephew at the same time. That would be awesome having two narnia movies that close together! I really hope the franchise continues. πŸ™‚

    • Gem says:

Why on earth would anyone within their right mind ever think that a good idea? First of all, it will drain Fox and Walden Media's money and resources. Besides, not being able to focus on one film at a time would make bad films, which we already have problems with. And last, that is not the way the books are, and there's a reason for it. They have already decided to produce the films in the order they were published in, which I am very glad for, so they need to stick to it. Making two movies, especially ones out of the order they are currently making them, would be a disaster. And we've had enough of those.

      • Chill…I was just saying what they had as one of the possibilities of making the next movies. But yeah, I didn't really think that through. I was just wanting the movies to at least be made a little faster, that's all. You don't have to pounce on me for just that one statement;I'm just as much a narnia fan as you probally are. πŸ˜‰

      • fantasia_kitty says:

        I'm afraid I don't quite agree Gem. πŸ˜‰

Making two movies at the same time would indeed require two different production teams, but as far as the production companies/money is concerned, it would be no different from Fox making both Gulliver's Travels and The Voyage of the Dawn Treader at the same time. None of the actors overlap except Liam Neeson (who spent I think he said two days on VDT), and about the only person I can think of that would be required to be involved in both movies is Douglas Gresham.

Also, they have never, EVER, said that they were filming in publication order. I think DG's statement was that they were making the movies in the most logical order of filming. Thus far, that's matched publication order, but I don't expect it to continue. I'm 90% sure that even if they decide to make SC next (which I sure hope they do), they'll follow up with MN, not HHB.

I'll let you decide whether or not I'm in my right mind. πŸ˜‰

      • Thank you Fantasia Kitty! That really makes sense, and of course you are in your right mind. πŸ™‚

      • Gem says:

I didn't mean to pounce on you LucytheValiant, I just didn't agree with what you said. I don't think that is a good idea at ALL, fantasia_kitty. I think not only doing MN out of order but doing MN and SC at the same time is incredibly crippling to the franchise. Would they release them at the same time? How would the crew do both movies at once? They CAN'T. That's the problem. Besides, Gulliver's Travels and VDT are two completely different movies with different casts and crews. SC and MN are the same series. They have largely the same crew and also the same cast. This would never work. And anyway, this is merely a rumor and I still have hope that Walden Media has enough sense NOT to do this.

  25. Ted C says:

Yeeeeeeeessss, this is great news LOL. Im going try and be Jill. Im so excited. Im going go get an agent tomorrow.

    • thenextJillPole says:

If you don't mind my asking…, but how, and where did/do you get an agent?

    • Edmund's Queen says:

Good luck! πŸ˜‰ We'll have to keep our eyes open for when the auditions will be. Let's hope VDT does well, so they WILL make SC.

  26. Louloudi the Centaur says:

Well, a main part would be cool, but I probably wouldn't because I've only been in minor parts in middle school plays. However, playing a centaur( there are centaurs in SC) has been my life dream( just look at my user name). πŸ˜€

    • Yeah, once upon a time I wanted to be a centaur in a Narnia movie too. That was until I found out that in LWW, most of the centaurs had to be on the makeup chair by 3:30 am to get their prosthetic ears glued on and all that sort of stuff. Not exactly my cup of tea.
But good luck to you! If you're a morning person, and posess a lot of patience, you'll be a great centaur!

  27. Queen Elizabeth says:

How do you get an agent anyway? Do you just call them up and be all "hey I want to be an actress?"

    • Princess Jennifer says:

Yeah, I was wondering that too !!! What movie would you like to play in ?

    • Princess Jennifer says:

I got another idea !!!! On the right side of the toolbar on the main menu you will see a sign that says "Contact Us" maybe you could see if there is a special number or something !!!

  28. HighQueenofNarnia says:

Well, for awhile I was a bit interested in playing Jill, but I have since been convinced that it would not be a very good idea.
But, to the young lady out there who will play Jill if SC is greenlit, God willing, know that I'm praying for you!

  29. Hwin says:

I agree with those who have said that they want someone experienced, but not well-known. I do not think they would ever take the risk of an actress with no experience. Some of you are mentioning that Georgie had no experience, but from what I understand, she was atleast part of a drama group of some sort. An actress that is too well-known just would not fit, in my opinion. She just needs to be JILL πŸ™‚

Anyhow, I am looking forward to seeing if they will be able to continue, and if they do(and if SC will be next), seeing who will play Jill Pole will be very interesting!

    • Gem says:

I don't think any of us meant no experience PERIOD, we meant, or at least I did, that she would be a unknown talent found at a drama club or something.

      • Hwin says:

Yes, I completely agree! Maybe my opinion didn't come across completely right? =P Anyways, I'm sure that they will make the right decision- the have done superbly so far!

      • Gem says:

Yes that's true, they have nailed every role so far. At least as far as the children go. So we really shouldn't be worrying as much as we all are, but still…

  30. ChristProclamer says:

I say keep it British; and I think they will. I know that there are many talented girls out there all over the world, but I really can't see Jill as an American, even one with a good accent.

I'm more worried about Puddleglum than Jill, though.

    • Gem says:

That's right, I nearly forgot about who would play Puddleglum. But that's going to be hard, whoever plays him will have to have incredible talent. He has to be good, not just anyone can play Puddleglum!

      • peruvia says:

I loved Tom Baker as Puddleglum… I'm sure with a big budget they'll find someone even better though

      • Edmund's Queen says:

I have never forgotten Puddleglum! I am a bit concerned about it, but if they do it right, he'll be so cool! He's part of why I like the Silver Chair so much!

    • yeswelovenarnia says:

I want they to get a REALLY good Puddleglum!!! They HAVE to!! According to my mom…it has to either be Tom Baker or as good as him…and I agree…it will not be SC without a good Puddleglum!

  31. Gavin P says:

I Really need to get prepared if this film gets greenlit… I really want to try out for Rilian… Advice for anyone who wants to auditon for this film… KNOW THE CHARACTER YOU WANT TO AUDITION FOR INSIDE AND OUT!!!

    • thenextJillPole says:

"KNOW THE CHARACTER YOU WANT TO AUDITION FOR INSIDE AND OUT!!!"

Any advise on how to do that? I guess God will pick whoever he wants to play Jill, but..let's pray for any people out there that want parts in this next movie. God can make impossible…possible.

      • Gavin P says:

Well, some good advice would to be when you audition, in the theory that you will have to have prepared a monologue, do not make the mistake of choosing an excerpt from the book that your character says. If you don't do very good in that part, chances are you won't get the position. What I mean by, "KNOW THE CHARACTER YOU WANT TO AUDITION FOR INSIDE AND OUT!!!" is that you should know the personality, situation, ect. of your character, and choose a monologue that has a similar character, with a possibly similar situation. Ultimatly be creative, make the people you are auditioning for intrigued by you! =)

  32. Roger says:

I have often thought that Dakota Blue Richards would make a great Jill Pole. She is British and in Golden Compass played the perfect Jill Pole attitude. I do not know how she has grown since then, so I do not know if she physically matches the role. Jill Pole is supposed to be tiny (from Last Battle).

    • peruvia says:

dakota blue richards will shortly be doing skins uk if you want to check out photos- it's a 'risque' teen drama, miles from golden compass. But I agree, I think she'd make a good Jill, I think she's about 16-17 now, just like will, and she's fairly small.

  33. jessica says:

oh man! i wish somebody could be in interseted about deaf actor in narnia because i am deaf. so i wish i want be in movies because it is still my favorite movies since 2005.

  34. glumPuddle says:

I would be perfect for Jill! (Pippa, are you reading this??)

  35. Reepicheep says:

I really hope that somehow, they'll shoot Silver Chair in Australia like they did they did with the Dawn Treader (I probably wouldn't be able to play any of the Narnia characters) but at least be an extra! But I live in Perth and not Brisbane (sigh)

  36. michalina says:

    I'm from Poland. I haven't chance πŸ™

  37. onedayit'llbeme says:

wow, I cant see anyone here who actually is from the UK! I live in London and am about 16 years old, but I have dark brown/black hair so I wont audition. To be honest they probably will find someones from the UK (sorry to everyone else) because apart from the British accents (which in my experience, is extremely difficult for most, not all Americans to do, lol!) its just easier for them to do casting from here rather than get in actors from abroad. But good luck to everyone whose auditioning anyway. I'm sure you would all make great Jill Poles! Lol!

    • -QueenofNarnia- says:

I don't think that you should be put off auditioning for Jill Pole just because you might not look the part, as it's mostly good acting skills that they're looking for. Ben Barnes has dark hair and Caspian is blonde in the books.
I'm also from the UK and hoping to audition, but I have no idea how to get details about the time/place etc. Hopefully they will do open auditions, as I don't have an agent.

      • onedayit'llbeme says:

Awww thanks QueenofNarnia – and its great to be compared to Ben ;). But I'm not a fantastic actor anyway and I dont know I'd want to be in it, theres other things to consider, family, education etc. But thanks anyway. Well I hope you are able to audition and if you get it – be sure to remember me when you're famous! πŸ˜‰

  38. MarkB says:

LOL @ people practicing their British accents.

  39. elton says:

i think they will choose a british actor

  40. Jana says:

oh…my dream is play Jill Pole..But I live in Czech republic.:-( and I doubt that any English agent takes a Czech girl.
    πŸ™ πŸ™

    • -QueenofNarnia- says:

You never know, it's always worth a try, but it might help to have some previous acting experience (at school, etc).

      • Jana says:

πŸ™‚ I play in one film, but i was one second in this film!!! πŸ˜€ but I play in my school Snow White..:-)

  41. peruvia says:

I'm sorry, but I'm from England and I've heard about two americans do a believable british accent. It's really easy to do the posh stereotypical one, but no-one can speak a normal english accent.

    • MarkB says:

Don't be silly, we all speak like the spiffing Queen! πŸ˜‰

    • Hwin says:

I agree, even if they could find someone who could do an accent well, they would most likely be better off picking someone who doesn't have to fake it. Like Pippa said, there's so many talented UK actors and actresses, it would be unnecessary to pick someone who had to fake it.

    • onedayit'llbeme says:

tell me about it peruvia, as a londoner with relatives in the US i have lots of experience and it can get quite funny! everyone associates england with posh!

  42. Cat1234 says:

I know everyone wants to be Jill but i can't imagine anyone wanting to be her more than me. Does anyone know how to find and get an agent in the UK?

    • Cat1234 says:

I am English, 16, but look younger, i have dark blonde hair and hazel eyes and i really think i could make a good Jill Pole. Please help me

    • High Queene Shelly Belly says:

google the address of the talent agency georgie just signed with -IGN_ i thinnk? and send them a videotape of you acting and ask for representation- have your parents do it

  43. Annabeth says:

Wow…hire an agent? I don't want to audition for Jill Pole, i don't really think I look like her at ALL. i have dark brown hair, olive skin, and brown eyes……I'd LOVE to audition for Aravis though, I have the same stubborn personality. πŸ™‚

  44. narnianheart says:

this would be a dream come true. But there's no way i could do it.

  45. Louise Gabrielle says:

That's really good 2 know, i have a few agents i have shortlisted to sign up to, yet im not british (yet if i moved a county up i would be), but if i managed to be so fortunate to get an audition, i think i'd have a shot ;), Lets all hope the next film will be greenlited πŸ™‚

  46. Meg says:

I'd love to play Jill – I'm from England and I'm 14, but I don't have an agent πŸ™ I wish they'd hold public auditions again, I think it'd give so many more people the chance to get the role.

    • -QueenofNarnia- says:

I agree, there are so people out there looking to audition for the role, that I think if they if don't do open auditions they are in danger of casting someone who doesn't suit the part.

  47. Louloudi the Centaur says:

By the way, if there was even a small chance I would be to play an extra as a centaur, would I need an agent or something? I have no idea.

  48. Geon says:

There's a young actress name Dakota Blue Richards. Why not let her play Jill Pole?

    http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2301950/

  49. High Queene Shelly Belly says:

If you are serious about wanting to do this and actually have talent- i'll tell you what to do. First you have to have a professional attitude and be outgoing enough to schmooze the casting director (that's what gave Anna Poppowell an in). You can be as talented as meryl streep but if you are going to choke at the audition, no one will know it. Get into any public speaking or acting at your school. Ask your english/drama/ music /dance teacher to mentor you. Look up the top play producers in your area and ask for lessons. Alot of the play director/producers have nationwide contacts. Get into the local plays. Go to nursing homes and perform for free for experience. Socialise with the patients there for practice speaking easily with strangers. . Call the local tv stations and ask what agency they use to produce their local commercials and ask to learn or act with them. THEN, make a video of you playing the part you want, wearing something like the part you want. ask your parents to look up the agency casting the narnia people used- look at the end of the film. google the address. Have your parents make a package with the tape, a photo and a letter and ask for representation and specify what part you want to play, or you'd be an extra. If your parents are very supportive, go to england for the summer and take lessons out there and try to pick up the accent and make contacts . Don't do things with out your parents knowledge cause there are a lot of creeps out there.

    • High Queene Shelly Belly says:

also call drama dept of any local colleges and leave your name in case they need a kid for their shows. and join a dance school, lots of talent scouts check with them looking for talented kids.

    • High Queene Shelly Belly says:

and if you get the part, immediately get a counselor to help you handle the abuse you'll get from the press and public and your current friends and family, who often turn jealous or beg you for money and try to use you.

  50. narnian resident says:

well, of course i've always dreamed of being in a Narnia movie, but there's one major problem: im a terrible actor! i dont even like acting, actually. so, yeah, thats a silly dream but i've only got it because im a Narnia nerd πŸ˜€ i can do a mean British accent though, if i do say so myself (im American) πŸ˜‰

    • narnian resident says:

i wonder if you have to be a talented actor to voice act? just a interesting thought…:-)

      • Princess Jennifer says:

Yeah hmmmm……. I LOVE to act and I would love to play as Jill, but I am 12 and I have freckles all over my face, and I have long brown hair. Do you think I would be ok for Polly or Aravis ?

      • Gem says:

I think you're a bit too young for Jill, and Polly and Aravis don't look like what you do. But don't give up! I always though of Jill as having short light brown hair with bangs, so get a haircut and maybe you'd have a shot! ^_^

      • Princess Jennifer says:

I do have bangs by the way , Thanks !! Maybe I could get a small role or when they make HHB I will be old enough. Thanks again !!

      • The Drama Queen says:

I have shoulder length light brown hair, and bangs!! Is Polly's hair supposed to be straight, wavy or curly? what about eye color…height? I would guess the actress they choose for Jill should be shorter then Will by like and inch or two… just my opinion.

      • Gem says:

Princess Jennifer- you're welcome. Wait, what part do you want in HHB?
Well, The Drama Queen, I always thought of Jill as having short light brown hair with bangs and being tall and skinny/bony. Maybe about Eustace's height. And I think Polly should have blonde hair. I don't really think eye colors matter that much, although I could see Jill with a light brown or green and Polly with blue. And I would assume Polly to be average, maybe on the shorter side.

      • The Drama Queen says:

Wow, this description keeps sounding more like me every time. I have short light brown hair with bangs as I said before, and I have eyes that change from a bright green to a hazel. I am DEFINITELY auditioning to be Jill, as I already look like how people think she should!! God Bless!!

      • Princess Jennifer says:

To Gem : I would like to be Aravis. Since I know alot about horses and my skin is sort of tanned since I live in Kansas.

      • Gem says:

Wow, Aravis from Kansas? Sorry, not sure if that would happen! I really think that they will get someone of Arabian descent or some other Middle Eastern country, I mean, that's what I always thought of Calormen, a very Middle Eastern-y culture and country.
Oh well, it's fun to dream though. I mean, I so want to be Jill, but I know that won't ever happen.

      • Queen Elizabeth says:

You'll do fine Princess Jen πŸ™‚ Caspian is supposed to be of Spainish desent, and they got Ben Barnes! A British guy with a not so hot fake Mediterainian accent. I think you would be a Fantastic! Aravis.

      • Princess Jennifer says:

Thanks alot !!! ( I really do mean that. ) You are so encouraging !! I don"t have an agent though. I would like to get one now for Jill, but then if I do get the part I can"t play as Aravis. Ah well, Thanks for being so encourageing !!

    • Gem says:

That's right, Ben was probably one of the most unlikely people to get the part of Caspian and yet he got it! Don't give up, there's still plenty of time to do whatever you need to do to get ready for the part of Aravis. I guess the best place to start would be to get an agent. You never know, anything can happen! Especially if you are very determind, which you seem to be. Anyway, good luck! Hope something turns up for you.

  51. Reepicheep775 says:

Pole is one of my favourite characters, so this is pretty important to me.

  52. Skandar-the Great says:

Oh my gosh! It would be so awsome if I got the part of Jill Pole! I have wanted to play that part for a long time.

    • Skandar-the Great says:

unfortunately I don't have a agent. I do want to get into drama though. I would really like to be an actress. Especially in a Narnia movie.

      • Princess Jennifer says:

A few comments up you asked Queen Elizabeth about kissing Skandars picture……..Ewww !!!!! Do you kiss his picture ? That is still discusting !! I"m older and I don"t think I WANT to understand !!!!

      • Edmund's Queen says:

LOL Princess Jen! I quote the movies all the time too. It seriously is only kissing paper. NBD. Now if it was his shoe we were kissing, that'd be another story. And I wouldn't kiss him in real life. Not unless he like asked me out and I really liked him and we became close. And the chances of that are like one in a million.

      • Queen Elizabeth says:

I love that quote! Funny story: I was watching PC with my dad the other day and when Ed said that my dad was like "Is he gay?" And I'm like. "WHAT NO!." Then my dad said, "Well he is mad that Susan kissed that long haired guy, and he does where a scarf and carry a purse."

        And I said, "IT"S A SATCHEL!!!!" lol πŸ™‚

      • Princess Jennifer says:

To Queen Elizabeth : That is funny !! So now what does your dad think of Skandar ?!?! Ha Ha !!

      • Gem says:

Seriously, what is wrong with your dad?! Just kidding. But for real, lots of guys, at least back in 1940s England, had bags and wore scarfs. Wow, that's hilarious, and kind of sad too.

      • Princess Jennifer says:

Why would that be sad ? You"ve lost me

      • Gem says:

That people would automatically write you off as gay just because you are wearing a scarf or carry a bag.

      • Edmund's Queen says:

Queen Elizabeth: LOL about your dad! "that long haired guy" ha ha! I had a dream with Caspian in it the night before last. (sigh…) I know I'm always going on about Edmund, but Caspian and Peter are sooo gorgeous too. Narnian Kings Rule! (pun intended) πŸ˜‰

      • Queen Elizabeth says:

haha I had a Edmund dream the other day πŸ˜‰ We had a romantic reunion on the Dawn treader, and then it just got a little odd, more than I care to describe lol

      • Dancinginrain says:

LOL @Queen Elizabeth!!!! Thats SO funny!!! I've had a dream with Skandar in it three times this month!!! Oh How I love December!

      • Queen Elizabeth says:

Haha yea, Skandar is just all around brilliant! Are you fairly new on here Dancinginrain? If so that's great! πŸ™‚ And I think you posted that you want to play Aravis, that's cool, Princess Jennifer wants to too πŸ™‚ You never know you guys, By the time they would film HHB you guys would probably be the right age too! πŸ™‚ I have cuper thick wavy dark-blonde hair so I probably couldn't. But I want to do more behind the scenes things so i'm good lol NEVER SAY YOU CAN"T!!!!!!

      • Edmund's Queen says:

Oh, I wish I had more Ed/Skandie dreams. Have you ever had a dream that a guy kissed you? I never have, but my 10 year old sister had a dream once that Justin Bieber kissed her. LOL! My dream with Caspian was kinda odd, cause we were sitting on the steps of my little country church with some other people. It was quite full of oddness, but he still looked hot.

      • Queen Elizabeth says:

I've never had a dream where a guy has kissed me. And whenever I am running in my dreams it's in slow-mo ??? Weird, anywho I have a lot of dreams where I am randomly flying everywhere, and lots of people I know are usually there. Odd.

      • Edmund's Queen says:

Oh I love flying dreams. That's weird about the slow-mo. I had a dream recently that I was Frodo Baggins from Lord of the Rings and I was throwing the ring into the fires of Mount Doom. Then the mountain gushed lava, like it did in the movie, but then water gushed out after it, which was rather odd. I had another dream that I was Will from Pirates of the Caribbean. Again, very odd.

      • Gem says:

Oh my gosh, a few nights ago I had a dream that I was Jill Pole! I was in Narnia, first with Eustace, and then with Caspian, Edmund, Eustace, Georgie, and some other more minor characters from VDT. I had to save them or go get help or something, and we were on this beach with little islands of sand a few feet from the shore and rocky cliffs on the main beach. I was running through the water and I fell and was drowning or something. There was some other stuff that happened, but I can't remember what.

    • Edmund's Queen says:

It is my dream to be in a fantasy movie. To be in Narnia would be exhilarating. I wonder just how many other girls there are out there preparing to be Jill. And only one of them will be chosen. I'm probably not experienced enough, but I am only a year younger than Will P. That's about the age they'd be looking for, right?

      • Princess Jennifer says:

right !! I bet you are one of the top 5, if you don"t get picked !!! I hope you get picked !!! I would even like to be in a small role…

      • Edmund's Queen says:

You are so encouraging! You are like my angelic little Narnian sister!

      • Princess Jennifer says:

And you are like my angel like bigger sister !!! I wish we could meet !! Better yet, I wish we were sisters !!

  53. Nesselphie says:

Hi, I'm just wondering about the age that Jill Pole would have to be. I'm 17 and English, and would love to play Jill, but I don't know if i'd look too old. Then again, Will Poulter is 17… is it more important that Eustace and Jill look the same age than that they look the age suggested in the books?
I've done loads of school plays and out of school musical theatre, so I have the experience….
do you think there'll be open auditions *begs*
    xx

    • Princess Jennifer says:

Hi , I suppose you could be from the age of 15-17. But I also think you need to be the right height. I am 5.3" and I am only 12. I have no idea how tall Will P. is though. I can do a REAL good british accent too but I think others are probably better. I have no idea where auditions are though. Hey, do you know how to start a headline ?

      • The Drama Queen says:

I was on a interview website for will, and it said he is 5'5… but he may have grown… who knows?

    • Gem says:

Nesselphie- I think your age isn't something to worry about, although they might look for someone a little younger, more around 15 or so. But if you're British and interested, than there's no reason you can't try. As long as you have brown hair, I'm saying go for it!

      • Princess Jennifer says:

        I have long brown hair !!! And a good british accent !!! But, I"m only, 12. ……..Sigh………

      • Gem says:

By the way, Princess Jennifer, Will P. is 5-9, 5-10.

      • Nesselphie says:

        Hiya Gem!
I apparently look like Dakota Blue Richards but older… haha! and my hair is less curly… but it's still wavy πŸ™‚
hopefully the auditions will be before i turn 18.. .hmmm…
        Merry Christmas! πŸ˜€
        xx

      • Gem says:

Hi to you too. Yeah hopefully for you the will make the movie within the next year or so, otherwise I think you'd be too old. ^_^
Oh well, we'll see what happens!

      • Nesselphie says:

        hehe hopefully πŸ™‚
I hope the auditions are soon, esp as i'm barely a month younger than Will P….
        xx

      • Gem says:

I hope they start making the movie too, otherwise Will (and you maybe!!) will look too old to play school students in their early teens. But good luck to you! Hope you get an audtion!

      • Nesselphie says:

        Thank you πŸ™‚
I just hope they don't judge on weight as i'm slightly overweight… maybe Jill could be a bit chubby in SC and in LB she has matured so she seems more slender?
        That'd be my argument! Lol
        xx

      • Gem says:

Don't worry about your body, if you are a great actress they'll want you for that.

    • Nesselphie says:

Thanks πŸ™‚ I hope that weight/dress size won't be too big an issue at first… if people are well-proportioned, they should be given a shot (Y) it's so hard to know what the producers would be looking for, especially without seeing the script :/
BTW how tall do you think would be appropriate for Jill? I'm 5ft4in (i think…) πŸ˜€
      xx

      • Gem says:

Well I don't know, I always thought of Jill being tall, I mean, as in taller than 5ft4, especially since Will P is like 5ft10. I could see her being more around his height. But like I said earlier, none of this stuff matters as much as playing the character, and they will go with whoever plays her character best over who looks like her. Besides, just like all the other characters, there are so many people with different opinions on what she should look like. Whoever they choose won't please everyone, but at the same time it will also please some people. I say at this point EVERYONE, no matter what hair or eye color you have, or how large or tall or short or skinny you are, should try for Jill. May the best Jill win! And I know she will, as the directors and casters have made excellent decisions so far regarding ALL of the Pevensies and Eustace.

      • Nesselphie says:

πŸ™‚ I think i fit Jill in terms of everything except being tlal and skinny! lol
shoulder-length wavy dark blonde hair, hazel-brown eyes, and i've lived in england all my life πŸ˜€
        Just hopefully, they'll let 18yr olds audition….

  54. Movie Aristotle says:

There is evidently a lot of interest in the character Jill Pole. She must be a favorite character in the franchise. I hope that FOX takes this into account when deciding whether or not to greenlight The Silver Chair.

    • Princess Jennifer says:

Yeah, I wish they would make HHB first though.

      • Edmund's Queen says:

But then by the time they'd make SC, Will would be way too old, like in his twenties. They have to finish up all the Eustace stuff first, because they can't get another Eustace. Will Poulter is the one and only Eustace.

      • Princess Jennifer says:

Yeah, you are right. That means they will probably do the Last Battle after SC Because Eustace is in that book. Do you think I would be an ok Aravis ?

      • Edmund's Queen says:

IDK, do you have dark hair?

      • Princess Jennifer says:

        Yes, Dark brown hair.

      • Edmund's Queen says:

Maybe… you can never tell just what those folks will be looking for. You could be the fortold to play Aravis. πŸ™‚

    • Gem says:

I guess you could say she's a favorite, but I think it's more that she is the next available young female role and since there are millions of teenage girls who are insane fans of Narnia, either the books or the movies or both…well, you get the idea.

  55. Eilish says:

That's so cool when are the auditions were and do you have to have an agent? I really want to have an audition

  56. Avalona says:

They really need an English actress. In all the Hollywood films I've seen the fake English accents sound like someone taking the mickey out of the Queen. Nobody really talks like that!

    • The Drama Queen says:

If somebody has experience acting talent, and can do accents well, they can usually do different levels of accents. I have been involved with acting classes for some time now, and I can do a really intense British accent, and a more subtle one, it all depends on how "British" the director wants you to sound. By listening to LWW, PC, and VODT, It seems like each movie, the accents become thicker, possibly because they are getting older, but even Ben and William M. were grown up, and their accents became thicker. Just my opinion. God Bless!!

  57. Queen Elizabeth says:

QUESTION FOR PEOPLE LIVING IN THE UK:
Do you guys ever try to do an American accent. I think English accents are amazing sounding. One time I tried it out at the mall and people actually thought I was British lol. but do you guys ever try to sound American? πŸ™‚

    • Not Of This World says:

When ever I go to the store I always talk in an English accent. I think I get people sometimes πŸ™‚

    • Princess Jennifer says:

I am not British but I wanted to say that I think It"s funny how everyone in the mall thought you were british. I will do that next time I go to a store !!! lol !!!

    • Dancinginrain says:

Queen Elizabeth, Im also not english but you just gave me a idea to get better at my accent!!!

  58. The Drama Queen says:

I would LOVE to play Jill Pole as well as all the other girls on this site. lol. Though I am american, when our school had auditions for Pride and Prejudice, I was told I had a perfect british accent by the director. I have been involved in acting classes and theatre program for 2 1/2 years, and I enjoy acting SO MUCH. I turn 16 this july, but people tell me I look 13, so that might work to my advantage for once!! I even told my mom that when auditions come around, I am auditioning no matter WHAT. Good Luck to everybody out there!! God Bless!!

    • Edmund's Queen says:

You'll turn 16 in july, just like Georgie! I'll turn 17. I just this September got involved in my local drama program and last weekend I was in the production of A Christmas Carol. I LOVED it! Acting is so much fun.

      • The Drama Queen says:

Yeah, I know, Georgie is 6 days older then me. When I saw LWW for the first time, I went home and did some research on the actors and was like "I could of auditioned for Lucy I am the same age!" But at that time I hadn't been involved in drama. But as you can see from my username, it's a passion of mine. I hope I have a shot… My teacher's son has been in like 4 movies, so I am going to talk to him about where he started and how he got an agent, am I am going to rock the casting directors socks!! God Bless!!

      • Edmund's Queen says:

So your birthday is the 15th? Mine's the day before! Cool. That's amazing about your teacher's son. I wish you the best of luck for the auditions, whenever they may be.

      • The Drama Queen says:

Oops… fail math attempt… my bday is on the 18th. LOL. I know I thought it was really cool that her son acted in movies… though, he was in twilight, which doesn't really float my boat. HAHA. Thank you for your support, you have NO IDEA how much I want this (actually you probably do…) I have been acting parts out of the book on my free time… and I look alot like how people picture her, which is good!! Let's hope for the best!! God Bless!

      • Edmund's Queen says:

I know what you mean about Twilight; I'm 16 and my mom won't even let me see it. I don't really want to anymore though. Being in a Narnia movie would probably be the biggest event of my life next to getting saved. Unfortunately, I don't have an agent, and have only a little experience acting. But if I keep working, maybe… Anyway, Merry Christmas!

      • The Drama Queen says:

I know what you mean, It would mean the world to me if I got the part of Jill because I LOVE Narnia, I LOVE acting, and I just think I would portray her well. Never give up on your dreams, and keep working as hard as you can to get an audition, and the best of luck to you!! All these girls on here saying "oh, my hair is the wrong color" or "I don't have an agent,so I won't get the part" they need to believe in themselves!! Because in my opinion NEVER is just REVEN spelled backwards. God Bless!!

      • Dancinginrain says:

Drama Queen you just gave me some encouragement that I really needed! cause I was all set with just going on and find another dream. Thank you so much! I just want to be ANYONE in the movies! But really I would want to be Aravis. Im 13 and I have long dark brown hair and green-hazel eyes. last year I remember getting the book and act as if I was aravis!

    • The Drama Queen says:

Your very welcome!!! Well, if they decide to make a HHB movie, you should definetly audition for it!! Don't give up on your dreams, because you never know…they might come true. After i saw VODT, i decided to read SC agian, and i haven't even gotton half way through it yet because i am constantly going back and acting out previous parts, then watching the BBC version, then acting it out again until i feel i have it PERFECT. As you can see, this means the world to me and i am not giving up!!! I am probably going to get an agent sometime in the next month. Good luck to you all, god bless!!!!!

  59. Not Of This World says:

I wish I could play as anyone in the Movies. I don't care who. It would just be fun to play anyone πŸ™‚

    • Princess Jennifer says:

      Me too !!!

      • Edmund's Queen says:

Me too. Not of this World, I like your user name! You seem like a cool guy. It's great meeting people on here!

      • Not Of This World says:

Thanks Edmund's Queen! I think you and Princess Jennifer seem pretty cool too πŸ™‚

      • Queen Elizabeth says:

I'm glad you are on here Not of This World. πŸ™‚ You are one of the few guys on here, that seems mature and has a love for Narnia. I am happy to call you my internet friend lol (I've made so many good friends on here in just the last couple weeks, and we all love Narnia!) πŸ™‚

      • Not Of This World says:

Thanks! That means a lot to me Queen Elizabeth. πŸ™‚

      • Princess Jennifer says:

I"m glad you"re here too !!:ike Queen Elizabeth said, it"s nice to have a matured young man on here !! ( instead of that jerk so called "Handsome ") How old are you ? Are you in the teen club ? Just curious . Merry Christmas !!!

      • Queen Elizabeth says:

I might not be able to write on here until after Christmas (like later on Christmas day) so I would like to say HAPPY CHRISTMAS! I hope you all have a wonderful time, and I can't wait to talk to you guys later. πŸ™‚

      • Princess Jennifer says:

Oh, It"s ok !!! That will probably be my case too. VERY busy on cooking today !! No Snow though. Sigh……. Maybe Tommorrow. Well Merry Christmas to you too !! And Merry Christmas to Edmond"s Queen too !!! I hope you have a Blessed Christmas and I can"t wait to talk to you guys again!!! Merry Christmas !!!

      • Edmund's Queen says:

Not of this World, Queen Elizabeth, and Princess Jennifer, you all are my Narnia Best Buds! I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas. I look forward to talking to you guys afterwards!

      • Princess Jennifer says:

You too Edmund"s Queen !!! I can"t wait to hear from you again !!!! Merry Christmas !!!!

      • Princess Jennifer says:

By the way, Edmund"s Queen, Queen Elizabeth, Not of this World, you are my best narnian buds too !! Although I"m sure I will have a fun Christmas, I will miss the lovely comments from all of you !!!

      • Not Of This World says:

I'll be 14 in less then a month. And I'm not in any clubs. I would lick to wish everyone on NarniaWeb a Merry (belated) Christmas!

      • Edmund's Queen says:

We can start wishing early Happy New Year's now! Did everyone have a good Christmas? I sure did. Queen Elizabeth, did you get your movie poster? Princess Jennifer, your tickets? I thought about y'all yesterday, wondering if you got what you wished for.

      • Queen Elizabeth says:

I didn't get my movie poster πŸ™ But as (I think) I said before I got a ton of art stuff, and a new bedpread that is dark silvery gray with twisty black leaves. And with my green woods it's like I'm laying in a patch of leaves in the middle of the woods in NARNIA!!!!

      • Princess Jennifer says:

I did not get my tickets. It"s ok. I was thinking alot about you two yesterday too !! I"m sorry Queen Elizabeth, that you didn"t get your VDT poster. I hate it when that happens. I AM Happy though that you got that cool bedspread !! I wish I had a bedspread like that !! I got a caligraphy writing set though. Now I can write like a narnian !! I also got a Narnia quiz book and a Laptop !!! I am so happy !! Now I can be on here more often !! I am typing off it rught now !! I hope you still have a Happy new Year !! I Love you guys !!

      • Not Of This World says:

I had a great Christmas! Happy New Years Everyone!

      • Princess Jennifer says:

I"m happy you did Not of this world. How about you Edmond"s Queen ? I hope you have a great new year Queen Elizabeth !!!

      • Queen Elizabeth says:

Princess Jennifer that's so cool that you got a lap top! πŸ™‚ Calligraphy is fun, we had to do it in one of my art classes and it is really beautiful, you could write all kinds of royal decrees lol. I had a lovely Christmas, right outside my window a perfect blanket of snow lay sparkliing the the sun πŸ™‚ HAVE A HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! I love you all!!!

      • Edmund's Queen says:

Sorry you girls didn't get your big wish stuff, but hey Jennifer, a laptop is awesome! I got one for my 16th birthday last July. Queen E, it snowed all Christmas here where I live! I had a splendiferous Christmas. I got the Lord of the Rings hardcover bookset AND extended edition movies! And I got a stuffed dragon and a Narnian looking leather journal. The bedding you got sounds fantastic! Congrats on the art stuff too!

      • Princess Jennifer says:

Thanks !! I LOVE my laptop too !! It even has a built in video camera !!! I am so sorry Queen Elizabeth, that you did not get your poster. That did sound real cool !!!

To Edmond"s Queen: That Narnian leather bag sounds awesome !!! I wish I had one !! Ah Well, Happy New Year !!

      • Queen Elizabeth says:

        Tell me prince Edmundm

        King.

        Pardon me?

It's King. Edmund, actually. Just King though. Peter's the high king.

        *puzzled expression

        I know. It's confusing

(I always replay this scene whenever I watch the movie, I love his voice! expecially the way he says 'actually')

      • Edmund's Queen says:

Oh I know! It's heavenly. Hearing his voice is like a massage for the ears! Every time I or one of my sisters say "actually" we say it the way he does because it's just so great. Long Live King Edmund!

      • Queen Elizabeth says:

Me too !!! When ever I say actually I pronouce it like he does ack-chelly. I love it!

    • Not Of This World says:

      Merry Christmas!!

  60. Princess Jennifer says:

To Queen Elizabeth : That is funny about the mall !!! I will try that next time I go into a store !!!!

    • Edmund's Queen says:

      What mall thing?

      • Queen Elizabeth says:

Use a British accent and see if people ask you where you are from lol. When someone asked me I just said I moved here when I was 8, which was true because I did move to the area I live in now, just from a different area in Michigan lol.

      • Edmund's Queen says:

I love it! Me and my sisters should try that sometime. We talk in British accents a lot at home when we quote movie lines, like "You've got to be kidding me!" (Trumpkin) and "You might have mentioned that a bit sooner!" (Peter) and "Yes, mum!" (our favorite Edmund).

      • Queen Elizabeth says:

I use "mum" all the time now. My mom usually yells at me for talking in a accent at home but she doesn't mind if I say "mum". I think she likes the sound of it lol πŸ™‚

      • Princess Jennifer says:

We do that a lot too !!! We enjoy saying comments of the movie. Our favorite that we have been saying lately is " Were not lost"- Peter " No, Your just going the wrong way " – Trumkin.

      • Queen Elizabeth says:

My favorites are "I'm a little busy Pete!" and "Can you make me taller?" -our darling Ed.
and "Oh my gosh, he's so cute." -Lucy
and "Mother! MOTHER!!!!" -Eustace (who my dad calls Useless)

      • Princess Jennifer says:

Oh cool !! I forgot but we love to say " I"m a little busy Pete"- Edmond too !!! I also am a BIG Reepicheep fan. He is one of my absolute favorite characters. I almost think that if I were any Narnian character I would want to be a mouse. So of course, I love to say about everything he says !! Sometimes when I hear a noise outside a will pretend that a have a sword and say " Steer your blade telmarine !!" lol!! I LOVE Reepicheep !! And Edmond !!

      • Queen Elizabeth says:

Haha! Whenever my sister comes at my with a cardboard tube I will definetly use that line πŸ™‚

      • Edmund's Queen says:

I literally burst out laughing about your dad calling Eustace "Useless"! My younger sister likes to say "See those to hills? My house is right between them," because we live in the mountains. Oh, and I say "Why can't you just do as you're told?" to my youngest sister a lot, lol. And then there's "He's just warming up," and "Shut up, you think you're dad, but you're not!" Don't you just love Edmund?

      • Queen Elizabeth says:

He definetly has the most memorable quotes <3 He is funny, serious, and pure awesome lol
I love the look he gives Trumkin after he is called 'dear little friend' πŸ™‚

      • Edmund's Queen says:

It's not at all patronizing, is it? πŸ˜‰
Have you ever noticed how Ed is always doing these supressed smiles? Like when Mrs. Macready says "I'm afraid so" when they first meet her, he looks like he's about to crack up. And when she tells Susan not to touch the artifacts, he does it again. And in PC, when Peter introduces himself as "the Magnificent" and Susan says he could have left that part off, he does it again. I could name more, but I don't like long comments and this is getting too long. lol

      • Queen Elizabeth says:

I know! He always had that hot smirk like he's pursing his lovely lips or curling up the side of his mouth like he has a secret. I just noticed that he's really good at facial expressions. Like in VDT, that face he makes when he slashes hid sword at Caspian for the first time at Goldwater. πŸ™‚

      • Edmund's Queen says:

It's hard not to talk a lot; we're Narnia fan girls! I love how you put it about Ed, Elizabeth: "hot smirk" and "lovely lips." Love it! Have you ever noticed in PC at the part where Edmund says he believes Lucy and none of the others do, his lip is swollen. In the commentary he actually (ack-chellay, lol) says he had run into a metal bar or something just before that scene. And I'm like "Poor Skandar!"
Have you ever seen Skandar's "Blond Cam"? You can see it on you tube. You MUST watch it, it's so funny and Skandarlous!

      • Queen Elizabeth says:

I love blonde cam!!!!!! I posted it on my facbook wall just a couple weeks ago lol My school friends share my love of Brits πŸ˜‰ It is soooo funny.
"Because I was a pansy! Yes well all get it!"
"Stunts… and anything making me look heroic."
LOVE IT! Have you seen the interview with just him on set of PC at the Telmarine castle? He's in his costume and that's when he uses his "i'm cool like that" line. πŸ™‚

      • Edmund's Queen says:

I think I have seen that one, yes , 'cause I remeber thinking "Yes you are cool like that Skandar!" I love it in blond cam when Andrew turns the camera on him. He does his hot smirk! That's like his trademark! lol. He's so Skandarlicious. Have you ever done the commentary on PC? You don't actually (ack-chellay) get to see him, but just heaing his voice is so lovely. *sigh*

      • Queen Elizabeth says:

You should go on youtube and type in Skandar Keynes and Georgie Henley press conference. (There are a bunch of minute long clips each from a question during an interview) And there is one labled like The Final Scenes (I think) And he's like "I think it's worse when you watch them back in the end, and their all emotional." He starts fanning his face and his voice gets all high. (He was joking around) But I loved the sound of his voice. This is getting long now… You should watch it πŸ™‚

      • Edmund's Queen says:

As soon as I read your comment, I went and watched it…and every other press conference video. I LOVED how he’s fanning himself. I about had to start fanning MYself, lol! His little laugh/chuckle is so cute. Have you ever noticed how he touches his lips a lot? I mean, have you ever seen that VDT interview with Georgie, Skandar and Will P.? They all look so tired, especially Skandar, and he keeps rubbing his mouth. It’s so funny and kinda odd, ack-chellay.

      • Queen Elizabeth says:

I posted back to this comment on the other page Ooops. πŸ™‚ Let's continue our conversations right here so things don't get confusing. (I know… it's confusing) lol

      • Edmund's Queen says:

Ooops, I just now responded to your comment on the other page! LOL! Sorry. This is more confusing than Narnian royalty! Anywho, what is the interview where Skandar plays with his sweater? I want to watch it.

      • Queen Elizabeth says:

CRAP! My reply to this is on the other page too! πŸ™ Ok – from now on, reply here. lol

      • Edmund's Queen says:

Ok, I finally got it right. LOL. What you said about fidgeting in church, your grandma has to give you "gun"? You meant "gum" didn't you? When I first read it I was like "What the heck!" lol
Anywho, I've watched some more Skandar interviews, and have you seen the one from a few years ago with him and William Moseley? Skandar, talking about Peter, says, "'Cause he' so arrogant, and stuck up," He's so funny! Have you seen the one from like two weeks ago (I think it's Pix or something like that) in NYC. He talks about the film, (for the billionth time, poor darling) and he says "ack-chellay" I loved it! Sorry so long; there's just so many things to say about him. πŸ™‚

      • Queen Elizabeth says:

Yes I've seen both of those!! πŸ™‚ (and yes I meant gum) I love the one with him and WillMo πŸ™‚ He's like (skandar talking about his character) "Edmund's real character and plot is with Peter and how he isn't appreciated because he is so aragant and such a horrible person… and he's always saving william."

        Will "Saving William ha!

Skandar: What happens at the very beginning of the film?

Will: Maybe a couple of times…

Skandar: I think a little more than that.

Love his sense of humor! LOVE IT! lol

      • Edmund's Queen says:

lol. Have you seen the "check the gate" video? Skandar makes me laugh in that one too. He's like "Check the gate, WATCH yourself," I love how he says "watch".
And what he says is so true in the interview with William, about always having to save him, lol.
        And

      • Edmund's Queen says:

Ooops, at the end of my last comment there's this lone "And," lol. I accidently clicked Submit. Anyway, I was going to say was about that scene at Goldwater in VDT, Edmund gets frustrated about always being under Peter or Caspians authority, and he says "You know I'm braver than both of you," I had to hold myself back from yelling "Yes you are Edmund! You rule!" LOL. Sorry for the long comments.

      • Queen Elizabeth says:

I love how Skandar says WATCH too! πŸ™‚ And Georgie's little dance to the song is super cute. (My sister and I actually ran around Meijer's parking lot singing 'Check the Gate! Watch yourself!')
Yea I was so happy at Goldwater when Ed finally got everything out. He needed to show who's boss. lol
HE was king before Caspian was born so he does have some seniority lol πŸ™‚
I love the prince Caspian blooper reel. (have you seen it?) I love when Skandar trips coming down the hill and his little sword dance lol

      • Edmund's Queen says:

I have seen it, and of course love it! I like the part where Will is on Caspian's horse:

        Will: I'm Prince Caspian!

Ben: No you aren't. Get down.

        Will: Oh, sorry.

They're funny too. But they aren't as full of wonderfulness as Skandar the Magnificent. OMG that part in the beginning of VDT when Ed's like "Please let me hit him!" about Eustace is so funny! I hope there'll be VDT bloopers! I REALLY hope that! I kinda wish Edmund could've lost his shirt in the water when they enter Narnia. That'd be nice…;)

      • Queen Elizabeth says:

Nice πŸ˜‰ Ack-chellay I watched the behind the scenes video of the underwater scene and his shirt comes up pretty far in the clip in the actual movie when the three of them are flailing around in the water lol (re-watch it and I bet you'd see it πŸ™‚
And in the recent interview (the Pix one or something?) He models the 3D glasses. OH YEA! lol

      • Edmund's Queen says:

Ok, VDT is coming to my small town theater this month, so I'll go again to see Edmund's shirt come up,lol! Ack-chellay, I was going to go see it again anyway of course.
Yes I love the Pix interview. He says that the Dufflepuds are some of his favorite creatures, then he says "ack-chellay"! I thought of you when he said that lol. When the interviewer said something about people stopping him on the streets of NYC, I was like "I would!" Imagine seeing him out in the city, and asking him for a quick picture…I'd hate to interrupt his "shopping" but, dang, a picture with him!

      • Queen Elizabeth says:

I would sneak up behind a rack of clothes and just be like "Can I get a picture with you?" Then maybe ask for a hug OR get a picutre of me giving him a hug. SCORE! But I doubt he would ever come to Michigan πŸ™

      • He came within a three hours' drive from where I live…and I missed it! Dang it! Ah, well, if get to play Jill then I can see him when we do The Last Battle. lol, like that'll ever happen. Maybe I'll be on vacation in London someday and I'll run into him somewhere. Or if I write a song to go at the end of SC, and I get tickets to the premier, and Skandar goes, I'll meet him there. There's still hope!
