The four young leads for the film, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe have finally been announced. We’ve got pictures!

The NZ Dominion Post reported it a few days ago and we’ve been able to confirm that Jim Broadbent will indeed play the role of the professor in the Narnia film.

Harper Collins is running a fantastic sweepstakes promotion. They are offering an eight-day/seven-night trip for two to New Zealand and a visit to the Narnia movie set. The only catch: you have to be over 18, living in the continental US, and employed at a bookstore.

Sources inside the production have confirmed that James Cosmo will play the role of Father Christmas in the upcoming Narnia film.

NarniaWeb sources have confirmed that James Cosmo has indeed been cast in The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. The production, though, has not yet announced his role.

As expected, New Zealand’s Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry rejected Lamp Post Production’s request to import twelve reindeer.

DVD guru Robert Burnett is reportedly already at work on the DVD release of The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. He’ll be featured in a panel discussion at ComicCon on July 22nd.

The president of Buena Vista says that they have already begun working on a script for the second movie – probably Prince Caspian.

The production has completely denied all reports of Nicole Kidman’s involvement with the project – she has not been contacted and will not be involved.
