    Wow! Looks incredible! Yayy!

    • Griffle says:

Wow! It looks….really bad! Whoever pasted together these shots in Photoshop didn't have any plan at all before he/she started working on it. Also: Aslan doesn't look like Aslan, the black haired minotaur to the right looks like if it's a cartoon character and there are two shots of Reepicheep.

      • Karine says:

I don't like it either πŸ™ For all the reasons above.

      • Duffleglum says:

I know Griffle, this poster was poorly done… That minotaur looks ridiculous!

Thanks beloved for this picture though, it is so cool to see more posters coming out! (even though this one doesn't look too hot)

      • The Archenlander says:

i really don't like how aslan is looking in any of the projects we have seen so far. none of them look like aslan. this lion has no character. hopefully in the movie he will be the aslan that we all know and love.

      • Starlily says:

These are just posters, Archenlander. Aslan will probably look a lot different in the movie. Just check out the posters for the previous movies.

      • Omac the centaur says:

oh come on guys, ur not being very encouraging. why do narniawebers seem to put down everything?? at least we have some pics!

    • JadistarkilleR says:

i like it too, it gives off the feeling of fantasy which is something that Fox is trying to achieve.

i'm not gonna go by this theater stand that these are the characters we'll surely see in VODT, for one thing there has not been a word other than wishful thinking on Peter, Susan's or the White Witch's appearance. this seems more like Fox trying to state their claim to the world that they own the Narnia franchise now and everything that goes with it (even if technically they dont have a single thing to do with the first two films).

oh and would it be a hoot if they used Tilda Swinton's image as a precursor to the LOTGK? i would laugh so hard i'd fall off my chair πŸ˜€

i'm jazzed to see what looks to be Ramandu's daughter. if there was going to be some changes due to creative license, i wanted it to be done on her. because really in the book she's nearly a non-entity to just suddenly become the new Queen of Narnia at the end of all it.

  2. beloved says:

Do you know how hard it was to actually sit through the movie I went to see with these pictures in my pocket?

  3. Vice says:

Cool!!! great pic i love it!!!

  4. GlimGlum says:

The three surprise characters: Peter, Susan, and Jadis the White Witch! Well if she's in Edmund's nightmare, I can see that. Peter and Susan are mentioned in the book. Oh well, looks like Coriakin? and Ramandu's daughter are there at least. πŸ™‚

    • Sir Jack says:

are you sure, that that's Coriakin? I think he doesn't realy look like a star.. he looks more Dwarfish, I think..

      • Starlily says:

        I think it's a Dufflepud.

      • GlimGlum says:

In the book he is in human form as a magician/wizard. The VDT crew doesn't even know he is a star until Ramandu tells them. And the man in the picture is holding a staff just as Coriakin is described as having in the book. Don't recall any Dufflepuds with a staff. πŸ™‚

      • Starlily says:

That's actually a spear, not a staff. And I got to see the picture of a Dufflepud before it was taken down for copyright reasons–it looked just like the one on the poster.

I'm not trying to sound like a know-it-all. But the picture is almost identical to the one that had to be taken off Narniaweb. Trust me, I'm 99% sure. πŸ™‚

(Besides, can you picture Coriakin with wild red hair? He would look too silly!)

      • GlimGlum says:

You're right, it does look like a spear and I also saw the Chief Duffer picture. I sit corrected. πŸ˜€ πŸ™‚

  5. CEP Paul T says:

For the record, I am good with it! Miss Henley is looking grown up, as is Mr Keynes.

I thought I was going to be standing alone on liking this poster, thank you Braden.

    • GlimGlum says:

Overall, I do like it. It's advertising for VDT for moviegoers and that is a good thing. Sail on VDT!

  6. Worst. Minotaur. Ever. Overall a way diffeent poster than anything we've seen…I don't know what to think. I think I'd have to see it in person…now I'm dying to go to the theater to see if WE have one!
    Thanks, Beloved!

    • [ForNarniaAndForAslan] says:

I agree about the minotaur. It looks like someone in CG editing took lessons from whoever made Avatar. B/c this just doesn't look real.

  7. jag says:

WOOHOOO… all four pevinsies… yay… this is just the icing on the cake……. looks brilliant!… (pretty sure i did a little excitement wee) lol… so is that definately jadis??? man im so pumped for this movie!!!

  8. ReepI says:

If you look closely one can see the Character Tilda Swinton is depicting has a green tint to her skin.

  9. kittengirl says:

    YAY! The poster looks great!!!!

  10. Talking Rat says:

    What country is this in?

I keep not recognizing lucy in that picture! She looks very different…

  11. Jill Pole says:

GAAK! i am so totally getting my picture taken with that when it comes to my theater!!!!!!! im hyperventalating!!!!!!!!!!!

  12. LL says:

Finally!!! But…Susan…? Peter…? When did you get here??? Hmmm….

    • I know!

Production people "No, Peter and Susan are NOT going to be in the movie."

      Me: Mmm-hmm. *points to poster*

      • Tauriel says:

Maybe they will appear as a cameo in the beginning (showing them go on a separate vacation), or they will be shown in the flashback at the end, showing that the Narnian adventures are ending for Lucy and Edmund, just as they ended for Peter and Susan in the last book/film. πŸ™‚

  13. Lucy Took says:

I would have no problem with Peter and Susan being on there,if it was small,it would tie the movies together.

Except that Susan's bigger than RD! We want to forget about Susan! Onto the better RD!

  14. The Batman says:

Sweet! I like having Peter and Susan on there as well. Thanks so much, beloved!

    • narnian1 says:

I assume this means they get a cameo?

    • FierceQueen says:

I think it's great that all four Pevensies are going to be in it, even if Peter and Susan have only tiny parts. You just can't have Edmund and Lucy with out Peter and Susan. I can't wait to see this movie!!!

  15. HighQueenofNarnia says:

I am confuzzled!!! Please give a better poster soon!!!!
But thanks, beloved! You're the best!

  16. King_Cor_the_Great says:

i like…but i don't know what GlumPuddle is going to say about a few of the characters

  17. Caspian says:

Hmm…you know, I'm not so sure that that's Jadis. It doesn't really look like Tilda…I mean, the hair does, but the face is all wrong. Maybe it's just the light. But what if that's Ramandu's Daughter?

Susan and Peter need to go away. They can come back for HHB and LB respectively, but they really need to be gone.

    Lucy looks like she's seasick.

    • always narnian says:

I think Ramundu's daughter is down there at the bottom. Maybe that is a sea women.

  18. always narnian says:

    O wow! That's so neat!!! =D I'm excited!

  19. Musgrave says:

I wonder if the person on the right next to reepicheep is the chief dufflepud. It's a mystery why Peter is there, unless he comes into a dream on the dark island.

  20. Tanya says:

Is that Peter and Susan on the bottom left of the movie stand?

  21. Silver the Wanderer says:

Ahhhhhhh!!! It looks so cool!!! However, I am a little surprised to see Peter, Susan, and Jadis on there…

  22. Susan the Gentel says:

I'm happy that there is a new poster but i can barely recognize Lucy she looks so different!!! I'm totally fine with Susan and Peter being in the poster it's just that minotaur it looks awful!

  23. jonny vox says:

I'm can see Peter and Susan in the beginning and the end and also somehow appearing during some of the spells that Lucy starts messing around with. Jadis? Someone earlier mentioned about it being in Edmund's nightmare… most likely. Making a stretch of things here but I wonder if they created some dreams sequences with Jadis trying to corrupt Eustace. Ya I know… I'm stretching…

    • Jeditrojan says:

I'm confussed. I don't remember hearing about "Edmund's Nightmere", and what does the White Witch have to do with VDT? I guess we will have to find out on Dec 10.

      • Kathy says:

There is a very brief mention in the book, I believe, of an island "where dreams come true," but it's actually an island that gives you really bad nightmares, or something like that, so people are assuming, since Jadis is reportedly only in a dream sequence, that it will be Edmund's nightmare from the island.

  24. tenthofthatname says:

    YES PETER AND SUSAN!

I'm not sure if that's a witch. At first I thought it was a mermaid. And I'm endlessly amused and the changing position of Edmund's picture.

  25. Braden Woodburn says:

Back again. I JUST now realized that Peter, Susan, and the White Witch (supposibly) were on here. I know Peter and Susan are mentioned in the book. Peter is doing study with Professor Kirke and Susan is in America with the Pevensies parents. The White Witch is also mentioned because the knife she killed Aslan with in The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe is found on Ramadu's Island. So to me, yes those 3 are mentioned but not seen so why put them on the poster? Hmm. Still, looks incredible! If anyone is concerned with this response, please do reply. πŸ™‚ PS Has anyone noticed that Reepicheep is on the poster in 2 different places? Hehe.

    • tenthofthatname says:

I noticed and that actually bothers me the most because it's the same image only flipped. Granted Caspian and the others are flipped from the Cannes banner too but gosh at least there's only one of them!

  26. QStheG says:

Wow!This poster is great!!!I love Peter and Susan because I'm already miss for them. But I don't like Lucy at this photo.

  27. Aslan's my homeboy says:

Georgie is growing up to be quiet the beautiful young lady! Skandar looks pretty handsome too πŸ˜‰

  28. tenthofthatname says:

All the talk of the strange look in Lucy's eyes, I'm beginning to wonder if that's actually from her vision after using Coriakin's book. Her collar in this poster looks a bit fancier than what we've seen her wearing in VDT stills so far.

  29. AJAiken says:

I don't mind the characters who shouldn't be there, but I just don't like the poster. I really want to, but … no, it actually just gives me the creeps! Everyone looks so scary!

  30. Aslan says:

what on earth?! why is the White Witch, Peter & susan doing on there?

  31. adamie says:

What the ****! Why is the White Whitch in there! I can't beleif they did that AGAIN! Common! This is impossible!

  32. Pauline says:

Oh my!!!! is that Lucy in the high left corner!!! What did they/she do to her face???

    • [ForNarniaAndForAslan] says:

I KNOW!!! Doesn't it look creepy? They should totally make her SMILE like the Lucy we all know and love!

      • 220chrisTian says:

What is wrong with Lucy's face? She doesn't have to smile. She IS getting older! It's a serious pose: contemplative, dreamy, etc. Lucy's changed.

  33. Mrulockia says:

I like it! I'm just glad to see something, to be honest. I think the stills of Susan and Peter…and maybe even Jadis…are from the last movie, you guys. I can almost see Peter's school uniform collar, and Susan's hair is done like it was in the ending of PC.

  34. Prince Norin says:

OK, three things… 1) I like this one better than the one that came out earlier with just Aslan and Reepicheep. It's more in the tradition of the other movie posters. 2) Peter and Susan are at least mentioned in the books, so I am not opposed to them making a minimal appearance: plus doesn't Lucy have this fantasy about being more beautiful than Susan… Susan would kind of have to appear there. 3) There is the stone knife of the White Witch in this movie (or at least it should be there). Do you realize that Jadis is at least mentioned in all of the books except The Last Battle.

    • Starlily says:

I pretty much agree. After looking at the poster for a while, I've decided it's not too bad. I don't like that they put a bunch of minor characters on it (I mean, that satyr, while I like him, can't have too big a role–come on), and I think some of them look kind of weird (the minotaur doesn't look real at all), but I guess it could be worse. I also hate it when they keep recycling the White Witch in every movie.
But as a poster designed to get people's attention and get them excited, I think it does a good job. It's just a little odd and misleading.

I just wish I could see it in real life, with the helm in front of it and everything. πŸ˜›

      • narnian resident says:

i dont understand why they put a satyr, minotaur, and dwarf on there either. what i dont get, is why they didnt put important characters on there, like Drinian, Rhince, Rynelf, the Star's Daughter, or even little Gael. these narnian creatures on there just arent making any sense to me. i think its good that they put some real narnians on the ship for the movie, but posters and such should focus on the real minority characters, which are basically the regular human people, which is the Pevensies, Eustace, Caspian, Drinian, and perhaps Rhince or Rynelf. the only narnian they would have to put on there who is very important is Reepicheep, and of course Aslan. Peter, Susan, and Jadis arent really necessary to put on the poster, because, even if they have a small cameo thats important to the story, it will confuse people into thinking they're in the main story and they play a big part. they need to think about those people who havent read the story and can be confused by all this.

    • 220chrisTian says:

I MUCH preferred the Aslan & Reepicheep poster to this! It had better [and to me classic] artistry. I want more character posters–with Eustace, Edmund, Lucy, etc–like the Aslan/Reep one!

  35. Ann says:

YES! Peter and Susan are appearing. Absolutely excited

  36. Starlily says:

Okay, this will sound silly when there's so much else going on in that poster, but for some reason whenever I look at Caspian I'm bothered by that stray piece of hair floating under his eye. I want to call to Reepicheep and say, "Hey Reep! You're right under Caspian–just reach up with your little sword and flick that piece of hair back! There, Caspian, don't you feel better without it tickling you? I thought so. Now you can actually see what you're staring off into the distance at."
The only other thing that bothers me is that Edmund has to reach waaayyy up by his ear to hold onto that sword.

Yeah, I don't have much to do this morning. πŸ˜‰

  37. Ugly Pig says:

That… does not look so good. And why is Reepicheep on there twice? And the same picture of him, even?

  38. Cool poster. Maybe it's Lucy looking into the book.

  39. Affy-Ann says:

I wish they'd put that up in theatres here soon. So excited!!! =D

  40. Narniamiss says:

How come no one is freaking about the White Witch? AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. I was so hoping she wouldn't be in this one. I am hoping it just means she will appear in a dream. I actually don't mind the older Pevensies making an appearance because they are mentioned in the book, but the White Witch…arg. She looks like she is coming out of the water…

    • Kathy says:

I think it's been reported that the Witch is only appearing in a dream sequence, which in all honesty, makes sense. So I think we're okay πŸ™‚

    • always narnian says:

Yeah, that would be strange. Then again is it the white whitch? Maybe it's a seaperson that edmund and lucy see?

  41. Waleed Sajjad Khan says:

WHAT IN THE NAME OF ASLAN IS THIS PIECE OF RUBBISH?!?!?! PETER, SUSAN, AND JADIS?! YOU'VE GOT TO BE JOKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  42. Fire vein says:

Wonderful!! except I want to know why Peter, Susan ,and the White Witch are there!

  43. SO COOL! At a glance it looks like Caspian is wearing glass's. πŸ™‚

  44. iLiveInNarnia says:

Susan and Peter are both there! Georgie's eyes look so weird. πŸ™‚ But its a pretty sweet poster.

  45. Timo says:

What's wrong with lucy? she looks weird.. and WHAT is wrong with the minotaur???!

  46. D says:

    AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!

  47. narnian resident says:

oh my….that isnt such a good minotaur. they could definitly have done better with that. but OMG! Peter, Susan, and Jadis is there! i've been hoping that they would possibly put in a small part in the beginning that shows where Peter and Susan are so people who havent read the book can know what they're doing. and if they are, then brownie points to them! πŸ˜€ and also they need a cameo of Susan when Lucy does that spell in Coriakin's house anyway. i think it would be very interesting to have a small cameo with Jadis, perhaps in Edmund's nightmare, as some people are predicting. that would be very cool, cuz then it will show how her and Edmund still seem to have some sort of connection, one that she wants to keep and one that he wants to forget. eeehhh! i am getting really, really, REALLY exctited right now! im just hoping i dont pass out when i finally see the trailer. that wouldnt be too cool.

  48. Mirima Rosetrader says:

Wow! It looks great except I do not like the Minotaur. But other than that it looks great to me. πŸ™‚ What are Jadis, Susan and Peter doing there? Could they be making an appearance in the movie? Caspian looks great and Lucy is looking really pretty. πŸ™‚

  49. ernesto says:

this marvelous poster of the Chronicles of Narnia The voyage of the Dawn delviajero and well designed the poster and also thank you very much goodbye.

  50. Lucy says:

Wow, I'm DAZZLED. To be honest, I really, really, really, really LOVE this poster-it's pretty (Though Ed still looks like the duke of galma's daughter with all that squinting-get the boy some contacts!). My only worry is tilda being on there-she had BETTER just be in there for a dream/nightmare/dark island thingie, if they try to bring her back again like that awful scene in PC (I LOVE the PC movie-and I'm STILL in denial about that), I'm lodging a formal protest. Who's with me?!

    • Starlily says:

You love the poster but you want to lodge a protest against it? Yes I'm with you!
      πŸ˜‰

  51. aslan1980 says:

The White Witch, Peter and Susan all in the film. I cannot believe it. Brilliant news.

  52. Rolacola says:

Is it me or does this look a little made up? Like it's not real? Because the photo of Peter looks very much like its been took from a red carpet event. All the other photos looks alright just that one :/

  53. Edmund-is-hot says:

Eek. I expected better from them. Susan and Peter? The White Witch? And they're kinda drawn out. I really hope this isn't the final, proper poster.

  54. Watziznehm says:

No wonder Aslan will say that "they" are too old: they are too old! lol Anyway, I am really neither here nor there with the whole picture. (Asterix and Obel…. I mean Lucy and Edmond and… all those other characters all at Sea. That is what the poster looks to me.)

  55. pselpevensie says:

that's sooooooooooo cooolllllll!!!!!!!! i kope they're at theatres in my town!
does this mean that peter and susan are making an appearance? that wouldn't be so bad.
but… i ABSOUTLY REFUSE to have thw witch in it!!!!

  56. [ForNarniaAndForAslan] says:

Hey, SINCE WHEN have we EVER been completely satisfied with the way they make posters anyway?? It's the MOVIE that counts. If they get the movie right, that's all that matters.

    • lucyrocks17 says:

I agree but the posters are interesting so they should make them good!

    • Starlily says:

Well, since we Narnia fans have nothing else to analyze right now…I guess we have to analyze this poster right to the ground. It gives us something to occupy ourselves until the movie comes out. πŸ˜‰

  57. April says:

Amazing! I love it =D. Georgie looks so big! And look at Aslan… And at Peter and susan, they are in it? YAY! I screamed with joy when I saw this.
Is it in theaters right now? I hope so! I'm seeing a movie this thursday… :D!

  58. lucyrocks17 says:

Not liking it very much Lucy Does not look like herself,
Susan and Peter should not be in it neither should the White Witch. The whole thing is just not good it looks weird like cartoonish well I'm not happy about this but, The poster is not the movie guess will have to see the finished product, THE MOVIE! Till then we have to wait can't wait to see the trailer! =(

  59. Zoe says:

The White Witch only appears in a dream sequence. Her appearance will be shorter than in PC.
    http://www.narniafans.com/archives/8559

    • Lutra's Pearl says:

Why in the world do they have to keep bringing her back?!?! And if it is only for a small dream why in the world do they have it on the poster?!?!?!?!?! She is only suppose to be in one movie, not three. Keep the story of Aslan alive!!!
