Dawn Treader Trailer Coming Thursday!
Mark your calendars! Set your schedule! Ask for the day off! Do whatever you have to do! Just find a way to be in front of a computer…
NarniaFans is reporting that the highly-anticipated trailer for “The Voyage of the Dawn Treader” will be online on Thursday, June 17 at 12:00pm EST!
The trailer will also be appearing in front of “Toy Story 3,” which releases the following day. It is possible that, if you go to a 3D showing, the trailer will also be in 3D.
Considering there is now less than six months to go until the release, we have seen very little of the film. A poster and a few pictures… that’s pretty much it. Perhaps with the release of this trailer, Fox will finally let us in on what we can expect from Michael Apted’s vision.

im glad its being premiered online also. I did not much like the idea of ponying up $7 to watch Toy story 3… not really a movie i was looking forward to seeing

It is very smart to put the trailer in front of Toy Story 3. The movie is going to be a very popular one and it wil get lots of people seeing the trailer. CANT WAIT !!!!!!!
I have not posted a comment in a while on here =] Haha. Well, I'm really excited about the trailer. Last time they made PC look way better than it actually was though. I'm already pretty sure it will not follow the book … but maybe it will be a better movie than PC was.

This is way to exciting! I have been counting down the days till Friday, and what do ya know….It's coming out THURSDAY….I have to call fellow Narnian Fan and tell her!!
I want my 1st impression of the trailer to be on the big screen and in 3D so I'm going to exercise all of my self control(this is gonna be hard) and wait for friday and toy story 3….then rush home and watch it millions of times on my tiny laptop:D
not me, LOL. I am so not waiting until friday if I can see it on thruday (besides, I'm probably not going to see "Toy story" anyway). I don't care if the first trailer's the size of a thumbnail! I just wanna see it.

Same here! My family & I will probably see Toy Story 3 opening day in 3D, so then we will get to see the VDT trailer in 3D!!! 😉 Besides when it releases online 12 pm EST, that means it will be 12 am, Friday, where I am, so I'll just see it on screen first. I was originally going to see it online, but yeah. 😉
Ehmagosh! Is this for real? No jokes? A day-a whole day!-eariler than I felt was even safe to hope for? Thrusday at 12:00? That is so perfect! I ususally do a Bible voleenteer thing most thruday mornings (except for when my dad can't drive me) and get home around noon, check my email, etc…Sooo, when the VDT trailer hits that afternoon, I'll get to see it! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! I'm so happy I could cry. Yeah, I need a life. I know. Don't remind me.

ooh! I love the way you think! Good idea! Unless, provided, poor VDT didn't do so hot in the box-office (as we're all hoping won't be the case) and they didn't make any more narnia movies. Then we'll have gotten the Time Machine verison of "Car sickeness" and be years and years in the future for no reason whatsoever…so maybe we'd all better stick to either next thrusday, or, dec. 10-if we're daring!
Then after that we can go BACK in time and meet C.S.Lewis! lol… so excited for VDT!

As much as this news is exciting…I'm expecting a very short trailer that doesn't show much. the Prince Caspian teaser trailer was exceptional in that it showed a TON of the movie. Given the way this film has been marketed so far, I'm guessing this trailer will be more to the tune of the Deathly Hallows teaser trailer – a short, fast paced clip with few CGI shots.

Why are they releasing the trailer at midnight?
'cause it's being released in front of Toy Story Three.
It will be released on noon Thursday not at midnight.
It will be released midnight for people who live in South-Eastern part of the world, but @ noon for people in the USA.
But if it's EST, then it will be available at 11 AM for people in Illinois (like me), and at 10 AM for people in Colorado, and at 9 AM for people in California.
Sorry, EST means places like New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania; east coast-Atlantic. Yeah.

Depends on where you are in America. EST -or Eastern Standard Time- is only the east coast states. If you are one time zone west you would be able to see the trailer at 11 am instead of noon. Hope this helps! 🙂

Hey, I was wondering, does anyone know how long the trailer being released on thrusday is supposed to be? I mean, is it going to be like two minutes worth of clips or are we going get like thirty seconds of footage most of which is the dawn treader sailing over a wave or something? I figure we're not getting the five-minute super-trailer (at least, not yet), so I was just wondering. Because I'm, really, really, really, really, REALLY, hoping for a trailer that shows at least some of the lines we've been hearing about ("I just assumed" and "Lint, but don't tell him") and some shots of Ramandu's daughter and Lucy and Edmund and Eustace and maybe MLGael.

We're all excited about the trailer, that doesn't give ANY of us, me or you, or some dude named Joe Smith or something, the right to say vular words on a "Family Friendly" site. Besides, I myself am very aganist cursing; not only is it unpleasant, but it shows poor vocab.
That comment was directed at someone who's comment I think might have just gotten them deleted again or else for some reason the "reply" feature didn't go through. so, um, everybody else, either back me up or ignore that comment. It really has very little to do with Narnia-sorry.

no i dont think the trailer will be in 3D before the toy story 3 3D movie… i went 2 see shrek 4 in 3D and all the trailers were in regular 2D. i may be wrong. but i still cant wait till thursday.i hope they dont keep moving the date back 4 the trailer release
