Markus & McFeely to Write 2-Part Avengers Movie
Marvel Studios has confirmed that Narnia screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely will pen the scripts for Parts 1 and 2 of “Avengers: Infinity War,” releasing May 2018 and May 2019. The duo previously worked on the first two Captain America movies, Thor 2, and the Agent Carter television series. Darn. When I saw this on my Twitter fed my heart stopped for a second. I thought it was Narnia news.
And here i was thinking we were on the brink of Narnia news in mid 2015 *sigh*
It started out as a feeling, which then grew into a hope… then that hope was crushed by the Mark Gordon company's refusal to throw us a bone of any kind. I just want to see a small bit of actual Narnia news. Like… Douglas Gresham just saying something as stupid and simple as "Yes, Puddleglum is in the movie" or "Yes, the script is coming along. In fact, David Magee is finishing up the final draft". By the Lion!
It amazes me that this is their news.
