Newsround Peeks Into Narnia

Newsround has posted their quick review of a sneak 10 minute preview of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. See the full article here at Newsround.

A month before its release on 8 December, Newsround got a sneak peak at The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe.

It begins with the blitz over London during WWII, with German aircraft dropping bombs over the capital. And very scary the war scenes look too, quickly setting the scene as to why a group of children are sent away from their home to stay in the country.

Aslan looks fantastically realistic – well, as real as a giant talking lion can look – as do the talking beavers and the Gryphon, which is a mix of a lion and an eagle.

But it’s not all good… Some of the effects weren’t finished, and a month before the film is going to be in cinemas that isn’t a good thing. But if everything can be sorted out before December – and there’s no reason why it shouldn’t be – then fantasy fans could be in for yet another cinematic highlight.
