AAAHHH!!! When I saw this I almost Screamed!!!!! Well I wonder how I am going to react to the trailer… or even the MOVIE!!!!! I wouldnt care where I would be or who would be there! I would SCREAM! As for the pic jadis that yall say, doesnt look like her! when will she finally DIE!
As for peter and susan I dont mind if there in the movie! but why would susan look like she did at the end of pc?
peter and edmund look HOT! I didnt see reep in the pic twice? where is he? maybe thats peepiceek??? OK at Minotaur looks SOOOOOO Fake!! But all in all I like it and I am SOOO happy that we have the pic!

  2. Twinimage says:

O_o That's funny. Why would they put Peter, Susan and the White Witch on there??? Then again, maybe that's not the witch??? I don't know. Does this make me concerned?… a little bit, but it's not enough to ruin my current optimistic enthusiasm about this film right now.
For people who don't like how Lucy looks. I wouldn't worry too much.
    1) She's getting older, so don't expect her to look cute and innocent as much anymore.
    2) This is just a promo pic. They usually doll up the girls with more make up than they do in the actual film for this. Just like Susan for PC. I remember seeing how much make up they put on her for the cover of the DVD and she didn't really look like that in the movie.

    • Queen Emily of Narnia!! says:

I don't actually think the woman is the White Witch, it could be Ramandu's daughter or something though I don't really know. Lucy does look grat and i mean it's true that she's growing up!I'm just dying to see the film i'm going absolutely loco!!!

      • Xenithar says:

I don't know, the girl below the satyr looks like she might be Ramandu's daughter :/ The only reason I can think they would put the White Witch in this one is because they find her stone dagger (the one she used to kill Aslan) on that island.

      • Ariel_of_Narnia says:

That is /so/ not Ramandu's daughter! She's too creepy to be Caspian's wife-to-be and looks a great deal more like Tilda Swinton than Laura Brent. I agree with Xenithar: the one under the satyr looks more like a Ramandu's daughter to me.

    • Ariel_of_Narnia says:

I'm wondering about Peter, Susan, and Jadis too (and /why/ on /earth/ did they put Susan in front of Peter?!?!). I'm thinking that Peter and Susan make at least /some/ kind of appearance and the moviemakers (or movie stand-makers) want to keep the Pevensies together as much as possible.

      • jarpan says:

If you read the book closely then you will notice that Susan is in the book. She in the wizard tower for a short period when Lucy is looking for a cure for the dufflepuds. Lucy is looking in the book and sees her sister and realizes she is jealous of her.

  3. Christian says:

Whoah. Looks like the LWW poster. Nostalgic. I'm just gonna say to everyone, quit freaking out. The reason Peter and Susan are on there is because the filmmakers are "returning" to the magic that is Narnia. The magic they, for the most part, captured in LWW. They're trying to jog people's memories. You can just stone me if I'm wrong.

That really doesn't look like Jadis to me. Maybe a siren… or a merwomen. Looks very watery. Though I suppose I can imagine Jadis turning up during the Dark Island scene.

    • KingSkandartheJust says:

very good point. the business people have their ways of bringing back the people who left (Not like us, Full Narnia GEEKS!)

    • The Archenlander says:

thank you! took the words right out of my mouth

    • Trufflehunter says:

At first glance, it does remind me of Tilda as the White Witch, but now it just looks like it is a merwoman. I believe the woman below the satyr is Ramandu's daughter. However, I do not understand why they would put a merwoman who looked so much like the White Witch, on a promotional poster. If she does turn up, it could be as a flashback to the Stone Table scene, like Xenithar said. However, it could also be like what Christian said. I remember hearing something within the past couple of months about them expanding the Dark Island scene. Jadis could appear in Edmund's nightmares or something, which I think, would be really, really cool!

      • Ariel_of_Narnia says:

Yeah, now that I /do/ look back at it, she (the unknown Jadis/mermaid thing) /could/ easily be a mermaid because she looks to creepy to be even somewhat appealing the way Jadis was. But I do like the theory of the White Witch turning up in Edmund's nightmares….

    • I agree. I seriously believe that Peter and Susan will be at the beginning of the movie -notice Peter is wearing a tie, could be that he is going to school-. Susan is all grown up, hence the makeup. I think we will see a bit of Susan showing that she is beginning to doubt Narnia also (just a peronal theory). For all we know, Susan might have been in Caspian's dreams (hehe, it would be reasonable though). I agree with what most of the ppl are saying. I think the White Witch (if that is her) will be in the island of nightmares. As for everything else, lets be patient and wait for more cretible info.

  4. Lutra's Pearl says:

I don't think i have the best feeling ever about that poster. It is making me all confused.

  5. Eustace says:

Now I may be wrong but someone said that it was the white witch and that she shows up in a dream sequence. I am fine with her showing up in a dream sequence, I am supposing it takes place at the Dark Island. I mean it totally makes sense that she would show up.

  6. Boke_Wyrm says:

Well, this is all food for speculation. One thought that comes to me about Susan: what if she is the one Lucy spies on, instead of 'Marjorie Preston', with Coriakin's book? Rather than try to introduce a new character who disappears in one scene, what if she sees Susan telling her cynical party-going friends about this imaginary play-world called "Narnia" and laughing along with their sophisticated banter? That would be potent dramatic stuff.

I do agree, the minotaur looks like he's been fast-talked by Bugs Bunny, but for me that's the only sour note. Ramandu's daughter looks adorable and Reepicheep and Caspian look older and wiser, as they should. Lucy, surrounded by the halo of light, looks more stylized, almost like some pictures of Radha, the consort of Krishna. Even Edmund looks like he's stepping out from under Peter's shadow, something he has to do to grow. The book is about growing wiser, and each character's path is different. I remain hopeful and optimistic.

    • Lucy says:

Dude, what you said about Susan makes SO MUCH SENSE! I never thought about that. Seriously, I almost hope they DO DO THAT instead of Majorie (almost).

      • [ForNarniaAndForAslan] says:

I bet they will. Good thought.

      • Ariel_of_Narnia says:

Hey, I like that! In some things, I'm a total purist, but in others (like the White Witch's crown and wand being ice instead of gold) I'm totally flexible. And not only would having Lucy spying on Susan take care of an extra character that's not needed elsewhere, but if Susan's making fun of Narnia and/or her siblings, that would be a harder blow for Lucy than just having a weak friend say something she didn't mean to say.

      • Christy says:

your idea is pretty cool i had been thinking that they might try to incorporate susan in coriakins magic book and the beauty spell and that whole thing.

  7. Meg says:

What the?! What's Susan, Peter and the WW doing on there?!?!?!?!

I gotta say though, the rest of the poster/advertising thingy looks AWESOME! 😀

  8. Milady of Narnia says:

    Even more interesting!?!

  9. narniaandthenorth says:

uck PU gross nasty horriable discusting repulsive what were they thinking….

  10. Bethany Weathers says:

…So far the advertising for VDT is failing in my opinion. Not good. Let's hope the movie is better than these posters.

    • christen says:

I think its really too early to tell rather the way promoting is failing or not. We are barely in june. Give it some time. Its not like its going to be released tomorrow

  11. Aslan's Meadow says:

Fun getting a new poster, but was a little shocked at the appearance of (what appears to be) the White Witch aka Jadis, but pumped about seeing Will and Anna back! (even for a litle bit)

  12. KingSkandartheJust says:

It's funny, it kinda looks drawn.
Woah. Ed Looks Amazing! Very handsome. I can't wait to see him in the movie.

    • Ariel_of_Narnia says:

I agree about it's "drawn" appearance. The picture that is supposed to be Lucy doesn't really look like her (yes, yes, I /know/ that they could very well ahve "dolled her up" for promos, but still!)

  13. A_Narnian_Ship says:

Hmm. I'm sensing a lot of speculation on NarniaWeb in the weeks and months to come. Not quite sure how I feel about the rest of the poster, but Ramandu's daughter looks amazing and Susan looks properly sophisticated and haughty.

  14. NarniaNut says:

UUUUHHHHHH why is peter susan and the witch in there?????!!!!

  15. Well this is really odd yet cool reep looks cool I am upset about jadis though but still excited about it oh aslan looks diffrent than the other two but sail on VDT

  16. silverPhoenix says:

Interesting, but I must ask, why are Peter and Susan featured on the spread?

  17. I think this gives me an optimistic sense to really expect the magnanimity of the film, as well as the story, indeed the LWW poster would always have a place in my heart yet this one is incredibly different as if a new face of Narnia is being exposed. After all, different is good.

  18. I think for the promotion, it's really a big part of the strategies… to flash out pictures of old characters. It's quite funny and I'm sure this couldn't be the final poster. HA HA…

  19. Manticore says:

This poster at the same time stirs up those ever-under-the-surface-can't-wait-for-VDT feelings, and a feeling of, "Who hired that advertising staff??"

  20. MinotaurforAslan says:

Maybe Ramandu's Daughter just happens to look like Jadis… I dunno.

    • Ariel_of_Narnia says:

Eww, no. Look up a picture of Laura Brent. Looks nothing like /that/! And Ramandu's daughter should not look that scary unless she has a weird freak-attack like Galadriel did in LotR (though I think it was in that moment that she looked the prettiest…).

      • "Weird freak attack," LOL–that's so true. I seem to remember Bilbo and Gandalf having those as well. Thank goodness Peter Jackson isn't directing this one.

      • Ariel_of_Narnia says:

Well, Gandalf's wasn't /so/ bad (I'm thinking of him getting angry at Bilbo in FotR, so unless you have something else in mind…). And Bilbo looked /really/ freaky when he snarled at Frodo the way he did… ugh. But Galadriel's by far was the most out of character. I know that in the book, she was saying what she /could/ be if she had the one ring, but I don't recall anything that says that she turned green and terrified Frodo. Or anything about her talking and flashing her eyes in a weird fashion. Thankfully, she wasn't ruined in TTT and RotK.
But, yeah, thankfully Peter Jackson's not directing VDT!

  21. Talvi says:

umm… hm. that was my initial reaction, followed almost immediately by, "where's the dawn treader?!?!?!" it was only then that I noticed the prow on the bottom, so it's like we're standing on the dawn treader and looking outward… but still, I seriously think that the absolutely breathtaking ship should have SOME image in the poster of, well, you know, the voyage of the DAWN TREADER.
It just looks rather crowded to me… and I laughed when I first saw that minotaur. and I don't understand why they're using that pic of Edmund. he just looks… odd. Overall I was hoping for something a little bit better…
*cough* sorry for my negativeness. Whether we have a great poster or a so-so one, I'm still WAAAY hyped up for the movie!!!!!

    • narnian resident says:

i agree with all you said, Talvi. they could have did a better picture of Edmund, and i had always hoped a poster would have a big picture of maybe the dragon head of the ship, or at least a big shot where you can really see what the ship looks like. but then again, maybe they did that cuz they want to surprise us in the movie when they (hopefully) do an awesome overhead shot of the whole ship.

  22. Christy Ford says:

Isn't it obvious? The scene from the book where Lucy considers using a spell to make herself "beautiful beyond the lot of mortals" and she sees herself beautiful and sees Susan as well, jealous.

  23. bayla says:

I'm sorry, but which one is Lucy? She's not the one in the top left corner is she?

    • Starlily says:

Yes, that's her. She looks different, doesn't she?

      • bayla says:

Oh my gosh, she does! I thought it was Ramundu's daughter. I'm glad she is getting a large place on the poster. Can't wait for the movie to come out, I love narnia soooo much! 😀

  24. narnian resident says:

i love how you see that Peter and Susan are wearing normal clothes, cuz then it shows that they're not really going to be apart of Narnia, but still in the story. Susan looks really pale, though, and her lips are really, really red. her hair is beautiful though. Peter looks really good. now the lady who looks like Jadis could possibly be her, but then again it could still be just a siren or a mermaid. but in my opinion, i think it is Jadis. the woman below her looks like it could be Ramandu's Daughter, or a mermaid.

  25. Liberty Hoffman says:

wow this is so cool! I love it! it's beautiful!
yay! Edmund is holding the sword correctly! 🙂

  26. NarniaLove says:

oh my gosh! anna and william are in the poster. does this means they're coming back in the movie??

  27. Alambil and Tarvis says:

I LOVE how they included everything from LWW on to VDT on the poster!! I don't know how to describe it…but it just makes it so much more epic 🙂

Plus, I love the fact that Susan and Peter are on it. Peter's obviously in his regular clothes, and Susan looks all dolled up, so I'm assuming they're going to be at the beginning of the film when everyone goes their separate ways for the summer (and maybe at the end when they come back). It'll be nice to see them just for a little bit instead of just having Lucy or Edmund say some line that explains where the other two are.

I also like the inclusion of the Witch. I've been thinking for a while that since the Dark Island makes everyone see his/her worst fear–wouldn't Edmund's fear have something to do with the Witch? Like, his "nightmare" is seeing the Witch kill his siblings or something like that, like she would have done in LWW had Aslan not come. Although…it makes me wonder…if they put her in, why not Miraz? Because Caspian's fear might be seeing his uncle "alive" again or something. I dunno, just my random speculation.

But anyway, I LOVE it. I'm so excited!!! Does anyone have an idea when the trailer will be out?

    • Alambil and Tarvis says:

AND OMG I JUST REALIZED…at the BOTTOM RIGHT-HAND CORNER of the poster, right below the faun and the satyr…

      RAMANDU'S DAUGHTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      OMG!!!!!!!!! FINALLY, A PICTURE!!!!

      *ahem*
      Excuse me for the spaz…:p

  28. DoulosTheou says:

Hey all, I've been a regular visitor here at Narniaweb for more than two years, but this is my first time commenting!

Paul Martin over at Narniafans.com confirms, "That is Tilda Swinton on the right side, appearing again as The White Witch. I can tell you right now: do not be alarmed. It’s not a big deal. She doesn’t appear for very long. I’m not sure the screentime but it’s likely to be shorter than in Prince Caspian. It’s for a dream sequence and nothing more."

He also explains that while Peter and Susan do appear briefly in VDT, their scenes are among the most memorable in the film. Neither the Pevensie appearances nor Tilda's, apparently, are anything to be concerned about.

    • Alambil and Tarvis says:

"Dream Sequence"…I KNEW it! I'm almost positive that has to do with the Dark Island part.

      • DoulosTheou says:

Yeah, my mind is sort o spinning trying to imagine what creative things they could implement in a dream scene. Since, really, anything goes, those alone could add elements to VDT not shared in any other of the Narnia films. I'm pretty excited about it.

    • NarniaNerd says:

THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE HEADS UP! 🙂

    • K. J. says:

      Yay! Thanks for the info!

    • aravis tarkeena says:

I am pretty happy over all with the poster. My take on things:
Aslan-looks fine.Don't know why people are unhappy with him.
Lucy-She looks amazing. She is getting older and needs to have an older look.
Eustace-he looks like he's pouting;exactly what I hoped he would look like.
Edmund- I think they could have done a better picture; his elbow still looks huge. I really hope he has a larger role than in PC.
Peter-he looks very handsome. I hope he does stays in the movie for a bit.
Susan-wow. This is definetely prelude to last battle. She looks very haughty and beautiful. I can really see Lucy spying on her and seeing her dening Narnia.
Caspian-still don't know about the beard. If they go for the Aragorn style it will be okay.
Reep-he's fine. So sad they changed his voice.
I don't think I even need to comment on the minotaur
Jadis-I hope she's in Edmunds nightmare. She better be good.
RD-very pretty. I hope they do good with the romance.
Over all I am very pleased with it. So excited that Peter and Susan will be in it.

    • Ariel_of_Narnia says:

Thanks for confirming what I was hoping.
I'm really glad that they have Peter in there, even if just for a minute or two. Excepting Aslan, he's my favourite!

    • NarniaHannah♥(used to be celtic13 and LucyReepicheep4♥) says:

thanks for the info! I'm glad Peter and Susan will be in a brief scene. I'd hoped they would be. And I didn't even think about the dream scene, they white witch should totally be in there! I'm going to guess it would be in Edmund's dream. She is nightmare-ish.

  29. Luis Daniel says:

Omg i cant belive that susan and peter are back and the white witch!!!! This movie is going to b so awsome in every aspect. Im so exited about this movie so mutch. Only 199 days the movie is closer than u think!!!!!!!!!! Aslan is on the move.

  30. narniamaniac says:

I think there will be a scene (at the beginning) where Ed and Lu say goodbye to Peter and Su as they leave for America. That would explain why Peter and Su are there! And I think that Ramandu's daughter is on the poster (just below the faun and the minotaur)

    • NarniaNerd says:

You're right. Peter and Susan appear to be in English clothing. they probably only appear briefly, but the filmmakers thought it would bring in viewers to have them on the poster. (and then, the non-narnia-reading viewers will be fed up that Pete and Su aren't really in the movie very much…)

    • Ariel_of_Narnia says:

Unless they changed it, Peter and Susan don't both go to America. Susan does, but Peter stays with the Professor to study for exams.

  31. NarniaNerd says:

*sits with mouth hanging wide open* Uhhhh…well, I'm quite mystified.
At least Ed is holding his sword right, now! 🙂
As to Susan and Peter and the Witch…or whoever that is…

  32. HighQueenofNarnia says:

I think Susan looks great! Also think that Peter looks just like he did in PC, but in different clothes. Or maybe they're the same clothes. I finally figured out where RD was and she looks stunning! Jadis looks slightly more evil and dark then in PC, when she was slightly more evil and dark then in LWW, where she was slightly more evil and dark then in the book. And why can't production just let her DIE?!?! Why do they need all of these reappearances?!
I didn't even know that that was a minotaur when I saw it- it's TERRIBLE. I hope that the film has better quality minotaurs!

    • Ariel_of_Narnia says:

Personally, I love they way the White Witch comes into the Sorcery and Sudden Vengeance scene (that's the book chapter title). The only thing I didn't like about that scene was cutting Caspian's hand and Lucy's involvement in the short fight. I think I can put up with the fact that Edmund killed the Werewolf while Peter took care of the Hag.

  33. FrecklefaceJill says:

Eek! I wonder why they have Peter and Susan on it, and on top of that, Peter's wearing a suit! And the WHITE WITCH??!! That's a bit odd……….

    ~Jill~

  34. Edmund-is-hot says:

Wow, the picture of Susan is amazing. Peter, Susan, Caspian and Eustace are the only ones that look real. It's still so exciting though! 😀

  35. freya says:

I'm sure someone has said this already, but I didn't take time to read all the comments 😛
But anyhoo, Peter and Susan being there doesn't really bother me. My guess is they'll be there as part of the beginning, maybe seeing Edmund and Lucy off to their uncle and aunts.

  36. Aravis Narnia says:

Peter and Susan may just have cameos. It may keep the coherence and attract previous viewers. Anything so that VDT has a good revenue. I do not find it controversial or offensive in any way.

  37. Prince Norin says:

In the close-up picture, it looks like Susan and Peter definitely have different clothes… I'm excited that they might just make a tiny appearence.

  38. Lady Em says:

The gal that looks like the White Witch kinda has me freaked out, but I think that the knife or the dark island ideas both kinda make sense. Maybe. It's just kinda stupid to try and put her in every movie.

I can't remember if it was a play or a dramatized CD or what, but they had the four Pevensies talking about Susan going to the states, Peter going to study, and Lucy and Edmund groaning about that "rotten stinker Eustace" that they had to visit. Maybe that's why Peter is in it? And Susan appears in the magic book when Lucy is comparing her beauty with her sister's.

Sorry if somebody already said that, but I didn't have time to read all of the comments.

    P.S. I *love* Ramandu's daughter!

    • Austra says:

Thanks for the info!!! Yeah, I thought about that possibility as well!!!
I love the Star's daughter as well!!!

    • Ariel_of_Narnia says:

Well, I know that Focus on the Family Radio Theater did an amazing job of audio-dramatizing the books. And they keep close to the books by 99% (I have noticed a few small differences, but nothing major like how the movies do it). And, if I recall correctly (not having listened to the CDs in a long while though they are in my possession), Edmund /does/ say "that rotten stinker Eustace" (wonder if the movie will have that line too… ooh! that'd be good!).

  39. Austra says:

I think that the minotaur is DEFINITELY out of place, as are Peter and Susan. I don't like the idea of having a minotaur on the ship, and who is that lady who looks like the WW, and is that girl on the bottom of No. 2 the Star's daughter? Just wondering. Anyway, I have hopes and doubts about this one……. hope they have decided to stay close to the book!!!!

    • Luis Daniel says:

Why r u saying that the apereance of the ww , peter and susan its a bad idea. I dont care the difrrence between the book and the movie. Atleast say thanx to God that walden is making the books come to life so ppl like u dosent make me happy. Theres not even a movie based on a book that stays truly to the book so just b quite and give thanx.

  40. Fire vein says:

Susan looks mad, I don't think that lady is the White Witch.

  41. ShastaTheSecond says:

Okay. Why are Peter, Susan, and the Witch on here? This has got to be the worst promo yet. It looks exactly like the horrible PC DVD cover.

    • Luis Daniel says:

stupid comment dont even waste ur time coming to this page!!!!!! if u dont like it well dont comment.

      • NarniaNerd says:

Uhhh, there's no need to be rude. ShastaTheSecond is just stating his/her opinion.

  42. ShastaTheSecond says:

    At least it looks half-decent.

  43. ShastaTheSecond says:

The Minotaur looks like King Kong (1933). Blech.

  44. AslanJudah says:

WTF is Jadis doing on there?

  45. ShastaTheSecond says:

I don't think this poster is going to be attracting any Narnia fans any time soon.

  46. Soooo….why are Susan and Peter on the poster? I was kind of looking forward to never seeing them again. :-S And that freaky lady on the right side of the poster looks way too much like the White Witch, even if she's not. Caspian and Reepicheep look cool, but overall this poster is just confusing.

  47. emijoy says:

where's the mlg aka Gael? We havent heard anything about her recently have we?

    • Ariel_of_Narnia says:

I'm glad that Gael isn't on there! She's not an extremely important character (so far as we know) and (excuse me, but my purist thing is coming up) she shouldn't be on the ship /at all/! (Sorry if that offends anyone, but I'm really not liking the sound of the mlg being on board.)

      • NarniaNerd says:

'Sokay! If anyone is offended by your opinion, that THEIR problem 😉

      • Omac the centaur says:

btw what does MLG stand 4?

      • Ariel_of_Narnia says:

        Thanks, NarniaNerd. 🙂
And Omac the centaur, "mlg" stands for "mysterious little girl", the name she was dubbed before we found out her name.

  48. K. J. says:

Hmmmm… I can sort of see how they are putting Peter and Susan in, but no the Witch….interesting. Well, I'm sure it will be great anyhow!

  49. I'm beginning to think that when Tilda signed the initial contract to appear in LWW, someone accidentally included a clause that signed her into all seven movies or something ridiculous like that… 😛 but seriously, I don't like seeing her there! Even if she does only appear very briefly in some small cameo scene (flashback or nightmare sort of thing) that doesn't warrant putting her on the poster. Makes no sense whatsoever.

    • Luis Daniel says:

For me, its a good idea, Seeing back the evil jadis. This movie is going to be so awsome.

  50. Sam says:

I think that the reason why Susan and Peter are on there is because they are probably at the beginning of the movie before Lucy, Edomond and Eustace cross over to Narnia, which would make sense to me.

  51. Ariel_of_Narnia says:

I'm so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, SO glad that Aslan is again in his rightful place: the center!!!!!!!! I was really ticked that he looked like a side character in PC (and, in a way, he rather was, unfortunately). Now he's in the center! Happy Narnian.
And as to Susan, I think she looks (a little bit) like the way C.S. Lewis described the White Witch. ;D White skin (like paper, snow, or icing sugar), her face likewise except for very red lips. lol

    • Ariel_of_Narnia says:

(I know Susan's skin is that white, but it's pale).

I agree! I was mad about the way they did all the PC posters and stuff. I mean, I thought they were really cool-looking, but Aslan's place in them was so tiny!! Or he was all faded into the background. I was like, "Ummmm, WHAT!?!?!?!" Caspian shouldn't have been so much BIGGER than everyone else anyway. He's not the only hero in the story. The story is just as much about the Pevnsies as it is about him. More, in my opinion.
      Okay, I'm done ranting. 🙂

WOW! With that close-up on Peter…….. WOW!!!! HE LOOKS H-O-T!!! HOT! Susan She Looks like she's supposed to!!! Aslan Doesn't look the same! he reminds me of the bbc version of aslan! anyone agree?

    • Lucy says:

um, no. the BBC Aslan looked like one of the cast members on "Muppets tonight". Just sayin'. This Aslan looks way better.

The picture of Ramandu's Daughter is lovely, but the picture of the witch is not. I hope she isn't actually present in the movie, "The witch is dead, all the stories agree on that." I hope their not going to use her to represent eviil throughout all the movies, there's also Tash (who is more powerful than she) and the other witch, (the Lady of the Green Kirtle). Aslan killed Jadis in LWW and there is no Deep Magic to get her back.
Lucy and Aslan are wonderful, I'm glad they've moved Aslan back to the center of the poster. Someone said it might be that Jadis is on the Island where Dreams Come True. It would certainly make since for her to be there.
I'm still praying for this movie! Don't let encouraging news stop you from doing what's best!

Wow!!!! It's great, it kind takes your breath away…But I don't understand, the lady with the strange hair is the White Witch? And, if she is, why is she there.. It's weird, but the rest it's ok!!!!I can't wait for the trailer!!♥♥♥

    I don't like it that much… Specially reep! :/

OK lot's of mixed opinions out there! I must say that I am surprised to see Peter and Susan in this. I thought Anna had said something about not being in this film? Hmm….

First RD pic! *cheers* Not thrilled with this but hope that things will get better as the film is hashed out.

Lol I find this whole thing everyone has against the minotaur hilarious.

As for including Peter, Susan and White Witch, I honestly don't mind at all, it actually rather excites me. It would make alot of sense to have the Witch in a dream sequence, and Susan looks perfect here considering the type of person she has become. Her face full of make-up with a somewhat sour expression truly portrays the Last Battle Susan very well, it shows her superficiality. Peter looks hopeful still, I like that. Perhaps they'll do a better job of capturing Peter's character than in PC, even if it is briefly.

I think it's good how Edmund is above and bigger than Peter here, not that I don't love Peter, but it displays the bigger role Edmund has here, that it isn't always his older brother in the spotlight.

    • Talvi says:

I agree with everything except for the minotaur bit… but only because I laughed when I saw it…. I don't think that was the intended reaction. xD
but anyways, I COMPLETELY agree with what you said about Susan. I tried to reply to other people several times and I tried to say that… yep. phailed and didn't post. xD Her expression is haughty and I think is more in line with her character in the book than how she was in the previous two movies. Someone above mentioned having Susan in the spying sequence with Lucy instead of Marjorie – I think that would be a great way to further show Susan's departure in character.
Peter looks good, 'hopeful', as you say. He doesn't look cold like Susan does, which I"m happy about.
I do like tha they have Edmund larger, and I understand that they want to have him in a light where he's not always in Peter's shadow. I just think they could have had one where he wasn't in such an odd position, is all. xD

Completely random – I can't remember, and my friend is borrowing my book. D: Susan and Peter don't actually appear in the Dawn Treader, do they? or am I remembering wrong?

      • Talvi says:

eff. everything I write always turns out crazy long. sorry about that. x(

      • Starlily says:

Peter and Susan don't actually APPEAR in the book, but they're mentioned. The book notes that Peter is studying at Professor Kirk's house, and Susan is vacationing in America. When Lucy is looking at the magician book, Susan is also mentioned because Lucy is jealous of her beauty.

So I guess I wouldn't mind seeing the two of them briefly. It makes sense and could be good if they do it right.

      • HighQueen_Of_LanternWaste says:

Yeah, I also read the comment about Lucy spying on Susan instead of Marjorie, I really like the idea. It'll really start to dig a bit deeper on the seriousness of Susan's absence in the Last Battle and the reasons why.

      • HighQueen_Of_LanternWaste says:

And I agree about Ed's odd position lol
