Caspian, Edmund, Lucy, Eustace and Reepcheep arrive on the shore at the end of Narnia. A huge wave of water stands in front of them and they walk towards it. Aslan’s shadow is seen on the beach. Lucy realizes that Aslan has joined them and is walking besides them. She turns…

Lucy: Aslan.
Aslan: You have returned for a reason. You have come far. Now your journey lies beyond.

Aslan roars and a hole forms in the wall of water.

Shot of the Dawn Treader sailing on the water. Shot of Drinian and the crew at the helm of the Dawn Treader. Edmund and Lucy stand on the deck soaking wet wearing blankets.

Caspian: Behold our castaways, King and Queen of Narnia.

The crew bows.

Lucy: Reepicheep!
Reepicheep: Your majesties!

Dragon Eustace opens an eye and a reflection of Aslan is seen in it. Dragon Eustace appears to be injured as he tries to rise from a sandy shore. Aslan stands not far away.

Shot of Cambridge. Shot of the Dawn Treader entering a bay. Shot of Dragon Eustace diving towards the water and then flying alongside the ship.

Eustace on the deck of the Dawn Treader, very unhappy.

Eustace: Where in the blazes am I?
Tavros the Minotaur: You’re on the Dawn Treader.

Eustace faints and the crew laughs.

Tavros: Was it something I said?

THIS CHRISTMAS

Edmund, Caspian, and Drinian stand looking out from the side of the ship. Edmund looks through a telescope.

Coriakin: There is the source of your trouble.

Shot of the White Witch in green mist.

ENEMIES WILL UNITE

Coriakin: It seeks to corrupt all goodness.

Green mist surrounds the Dawn Treader and the form of the White Witch swirls past Edmund.

Coriakin: It can steal the light from this world.

The Dawn Treader sails towards the Island of Green Mist. The Dawn Treader sails through a storm.

AND THE ONLY POWER TO STOP THEM

Edmund holds a sword that suddenly glows blue. Coriakin points at Edmund.

Coriakin: That sword you carry. It must be laid at Aslan’s Table.

Shot of a cart being pulled through the streets of Narrowhaven. Shot of the three Lords at Aslan’s table waking up with all of the seven swords laid in front of them.

Coriakin: Only then can their true power be unleashed.

Coriakin throws a map across a room. Islands are seen growing out of it.

LIES BEYOND NARNIA ITSELF

Reepicheep: Aslan’s Country

Shot of Aslan standing on the shore. Shot of a rowboat rowing through a sea of white lilies.

Lucy: Do you really believe there’s such a place?
Reepicheep: We have nothing if not belief.

FROM C.S. LEWIS’ EPIC MASTERPIECE

Shot of Lilliandil walking through an island. She stands before Caspian, Edmund, and Lucy, and turns into a star and flies up into the sky.

COMES THE MOTION PICTURE EVENT

Water nymphs leap out of the water in front of the sailing Dawn Treader and dive back in.

OF THE HOLIDAY SEASON

Lucy stands in Coriakin’s library with snow falling all around her. She smiles.

Caspian, Edmund, Lucy, and Reepicheep stand at the edge of the ship looking down into the water. With a cry of excitement Reepicheep leaps into the water and lands next to Eustace.

Lilliandil walks along smiling.

Lilliandil: Travelers of Narnia. I am your guide.
Caspian: You are most beautiful.
Lilliandil: If it is a distraction for you, I can change forms.
Caspian and Edmund: No!

Caspian and Edmund look at each other. Lucy looks at them both and rolls her eyes.

Lucy enters into the Magician’s House through invisible doors that close behind her. Coriakin appears in front of his table and turns around.

Edmund, Susan, and Peter walk arm in arm through a lovely outdoor party. All smiling.

The Dawn Treader sailing through a gorgeous sunset.

Caspian looking stern.

Caspian: Now is the time to be strong. Never give in.

The sailors in the background cheer.

Coriakin stands in his garden with the crew of the Dawn Treader behind him. He throws something. Dufflepuds leap about.

Caspian, Drinian, and Edmund are walking through the streets of Narrowhaven with the people on the sides cheering. Rhince steps out from the crowd to speak to them.

Dragon Eustace flies very low to the water with the Dawn Treader behind him.

Someone (perhaps Caspian or Reepicheep?): No fear! No retreat!

Reepicheep swings around on a rope aboard the Dawn Treader. Dragon Eustace flies along carrying Reepicheep on his back. Reepicheep fights someone on the streets of Narrowhaven. Caspian fights a slaver in the Bell Tower. More fighting on the streets of Narrowhaven.

Shot of the Dawn Treader sailing through a storm. Shot of blue light shooting up from the seven swords and making a beam into the sky. Caspian and the crew shouting during a pitched battle with the sea serpent. Edmund holds the glowing blue sword out towards the serpent. The serpent dives towards him. Aslan roars on the beach.

yes I love it! This alone nearly made me cry, with joy. Can't wait, (for the movie, and screenshots :p)

    • Aslan's my homeboy says:

I started crying too haha. I am gonna be a mess when I come out ofthe theatre after I see it lol I will probably start bawling at the end

      • Hwin says:

Haha, aw man, since I reacted as hysterically as I did to this trailer, I wonder how it will be for the REAL THING!!! One box of tissues for me when I see it in theatres!!!

  2. LL says:

This, ladies and gentlemen, is what we've been waiting for… 🙂

  3. The Bulgy Bear says:

I'm uploading it to Youtube right now… This was epic. The best trailer so far. My guess that Aslan was turning into a lion from a lamb was right, as was the guess that it was Aslan reflected in Eustace's (dragon) eye.

    • narnian resident says:

thank you for that, because i like to put these on Facebook to show my friends who know me to be a Narnia Fangirl 😀

  4. LucyTheValiant says:

i remember wondering if this movie would even get made, and then waiting for the very first trailer to be released, and now i can hardly believe how quickly December is approaching. Absolutely wonderful trailer 😀

  5. TumnusTheBrave says:

that actually made the movie look so much better than it already did. im impressed. And whats with Edmund, Susan, and Peter linking arms at some party(dont think it was in Narnia)

    • Pepper Darcy says:

that was probably Lucy's horrific vision of a world where 'Lucy' doesn't exist (when she tries the beauty spell).

      • LL says:

Yes, I think you're definitely right about that!

      • dinode says:

Unfortunately, I think you're right, and I am NOT pleased.

      • McGunn says:

Why are you not pleased? I think it sounds about right. Lucy does imagine a world where she's so pretty everybody circles around her and they forget about plain Susan…

I thought people wanted the movie to mirror the book as much as possible and this would be a good opportunity to get to show a few shots of Peter and Susan as well.

      • Bookwyrm says:

I can't say for certain why Dinode is displeased with this change, but probably for the same reason I am. In the book, Lucy did not want to Susan. She wanted to be better than Susan and wanted Susan to experience the emotions Lucy does when everyone fawns over Susan's beauty. They've skipped this and gone for ridiculous It's a Wonderful Life scene so they could shoehorn in Susan and Peter into the movie. The scene from the book would have been far cooler.

      • dinode says:

        Precisely Bookwyrm.

    • Sui-Lun says:

Maybe they'll show that in the beginning to explain what happens all the Pevensies.

  6. Savber100 says:

I am impressed and surprised. My expectations have suddenly increased twofolds.

  7. SParcher44 says:

I'm so glad I could help with finding this! I got it here as soon as possible!

    • narnian4ever says:

thank you so much for finding this!! The trailer has made my day=D

      • Princess Lucy says:

thankyou so much SParcher44…u definitely made alot of people happy today…I hope u and the rest of the staff working on this website really enjoy the film and end up watching it many times…this applies to all the narnia fans out there…we are getting closer…

  8. CEP Paul T says:

Nice job, SParcher! I have heard about this trailer but have not seen it … then again, I've not been to the cinema in quite some time.

Looks great! Dragon Eustace looks awesome!

  9. Bother Eustace says:

Cool! But what's with the narrator saying "Enemies will unite"? What's that about? Hm. Anyway, looking forward to finally seeing this movie!

    • The Rose-Tree Dryad says:

I think it actually says "Enemies REunite" (I'm thinking as in the White Witch and Edmund, since they're enemies?), but it's hard to say for sure.

    • dinode says:

Enemies PLURAL!?!? The dark island was bad enough, but now we have dark island AND at least one other foe? If it were just the sea serpent I'd be okay, but it looks like She Who Must Not Be Named is also getting in on the act. 🙁

  10. Louloudi the Centaur says:

Wow. I think that was almost an improvement from some of the previous trailers. They now get on to Reepicheep's purpose of the journey and I like how they show Eustace and him being friends. The minotaur now seems a bit more upset about making Eustace faint on board. I, however, don't like the line, "Enemies unite" because that is not the purpose of the Dawn Treader. However, I am enthralled about Aslan's line of saying the reason they returned. That's what "Your journey lies beyond", meant in the first trailer I believe. That is the real purpose of the Dawn Treader. Overall, I feel much better about the movie than I did in late September.

    • Princess Lucy says:

don't worry Louloudi the Centaur…hopefully its just the misleading message from the trailers…u know how trailers often reveal incorrect plots and subplots…

  11. Narnian Geek says:

    AWESOMENESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One thing: "Enemies will unite." What's that supposed to mean?

  12. Greg says:

    Fantastic!

  13. wolfloversk says:

    WAHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:)

  14. You've got to be KIDDING me! I FREAKING LOVE THIS ONE BEYOND MEASURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And just this morning I was imagining if a new trailer came out…. wish I was thinking about the movie releasing early instead. XD The London/America (I think) scenes are confusing me though.

  15. narnian4ever says:

yes!!! this is soooooo amazing!!!! i love this!!! And the new clips are great….31 days left, Narnia Fans!!!

  16. RuralNarniaFan says:

OK, I won't say that made me swoon. Guys don't swoon. But that was so epicly awesome that it turned my mind to some kind of jelly mush. I'm speechless! :O

  17. Narniac4Aslan says:

    31 more days?!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Wahoooo!!!

  18. 22narnian says:

I believe this is the best trailer so far!

  19. Boke_Wyrm says:

It is a much more beautiful film, and I am much more optimistic. The only false note, for me, was Lucy of all people asking if there really is such a place as Aslan's country. (I hope I misheard and it was Eustace instead, but I don't think so). Skepticism is not what Lucy is about. But all the rest of the trailer made me much more eager to see the film.

    • The Rose-Tree Dryad says:

Agreed on the Lucy comment. She of all people would believe in Aslan's Country. That's pretty much my only issue with the trailer that I've seen so far.

    • FriendOfNarnia2 says:

The strange part is that in the VBS clips she says "Aslan's country…I wonder what it will be like." So obviously there she believed that Aslan's country really existed.

    • FriendOfNarnia2 says:

I just watched the trailer again, and there is absolutely no reason to believe that Lucy is referring to Aslan's country when she says that line. Must be the way it is edited that makes us think that. Looks like another sneaky marketing trick by Fox.

  20. The Rose-Tree Dryad says:

Seeing this trailer makes me just overjoyed. Seriously. I think I have tears in my eyes right now. The good kind. 😀

THIS is so much more like what I would expect a trailer for VDT to be like! This is fantastic! It just captures the feeling of the book 100x better. I am thrilled. 😀

    Some quick thoughts—

Aslan's CGI looks great! The undragoning (YES!) looks like it will actually be somewhat similar to the book, and I'm daring to hope like mad right now that our fears have all been unfounded and they get the scene's message right! Coriakin's dialogue is still cheesy, but I'm starting to get used to that. 😛 Emphasis on Aslan's Country! Finally! THANK YOU! *Fistpump* Love Reepicheep's jump in the water! Wow, that 40's style shot of Edmund and Susan and Peter is really out of place. 😛 Love Caspian's speech at what looks like the Dark Island, really shows how much he has truly become king of Narnia. Love Reepicheep's dialogue. Oooh, and the dragon CGI is looking better, too! Last but not least, I can't get over how absolutely awe-inspiring, jaw-droppingly beautiful this film is visually. 😀

SO more excited for December 10th after seeing this trailer. 😀

I am a VERY HAPPY dryad right now. 😀

And I apologize for the thickly-sprinkled grin smilies on this post. 😛

  21. Manticore says:

About the "enemies will unite" thing: Keep in mind that a trailer will say anything to bring people into the movie. And keep in mind that a recent commentator said that the trailer was misleading with how much screen time the White Witch got. Take the trailer with a grain of salt.

  22. 8SilverSky says:

That scene of Dragon Eustace and Aslan on the beach is so beautiful! The lighting, and the music (even if it's just trailer music for now) just makes Aslan look so powerful and majestic! I don't have much doubt that this movie is going to be my favourite of the three so far. It looks amazing. Period.

  23. ~Lava~ says:

Actually, I think that Lucy does say something of that ilk in the book about whether or not it is place that one could sail to.

  24. Starlily says:

Wow, I totally wasn't expecting this! I'll take a better look at the trailer tomorrow, but right now I'm so excited! It's beautiful! And even with the green mist stuff, it's looking more faithful to the book than I thought before! I love Dragon Eustace, and Reepicheep, and the scenery! I also like the part with the Minotaur and Eustace better now. And Lilliandil walking on the island. Oh boy, I can't wait to analyze it all tomorrow! 🙂

  25. Narnia Freak says:

THAT WAS AWESOME!!! LOVE IT! Eustace as the dragon was soooo cool! I am sooo very excited!Does anybody know what Peter and Susan are doing? I'm glad they have a cameo! I am going in full costume to the theater! Only 32 days left!!

  26. narnian resident says:

this is amazing! we finally get a shot of Susan and Peter. now i have a better idea of what their cameo will be. Dragon Eustace looks incredible!!! i cannot wait to see him! thats one of the main things im looking forward to. eeehhh! this has made me very, very, VERY excited!! it just keeps getting better as we get closer 😀

  27. Chloe says:

My excitment level just tripled after watching this trailer.

  28. Caspian XI says:

    AWESOME!!!!!! ASLAN'S MANE, I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE MOVIE!!!!! 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀

  29. Warrior 4 Jesus says:

Great trailer! The best one so far. Here's the trailer in better quality. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=scoll5BRU6k

  30. WarriorOfNarnia says:

OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!!!!!! THAT WAS THE BEST ONE SO FAR!!! Anyone agree!?!?!

  31. Amelia says:

Oh. My. Gosh. That was way too much. What I mean is, that was the BEST trailer yet. I mean, THAT WAS NARNIA!!!!!!!!
    *faints away*
    *picks self back up*
    Okay, let's watch it again….

  32. Delpheas says:

Even without the accent, Ben still sounds like Caspian. I LOVE Reep's new voice, the change doesn't seem to detract from the experience at all. Definitely the best trailer.

  33. DamselJillPole says:

Someone please upload to youtube! I cant see the trailer on the yahoo website.

  34. Shastafan says:

Yessss! That was so cool! Help me! I losing my sanity again! 😀

  35. Once_A_Queen_of_Narnia says:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=scoll5BRU6k

here's a link to it on youtube – yahoo movies was giving me problems too.

  36. Beyond Narnia says:

"No fear! No retreat!" is said by Reepicheep – I recognized the vocal pattern

  37. Ugly Pig says:

Wow. I can't believe how much better this is than the first trailer.

  38. Alambil says:

    Oh. My. Skittles.

Wow…… super excited. I don't think I have the ability to convert my overwhelming feelings of enthusiasm to text here.

The "outdoor dinner party" shot with the three oldest Pevensies caught my attention…. any guesses as to what that is?

    • dinode says:

The movie storybook described a scene in which Lucy says the beauty spell, turns into Susan, and sees what things would be like without her. I hope that's not the case, but that's what it looks like.

      • Princess Lucy says:

or it can be what lucy is looking at when she reads the book…i wonder what she exactly sees in the book..hmmm

  39. Melanie says:

Ohh!! That moment with Aslan and Dragon Eustace on the beach is soooooooooo beautiful. The look is Aslan's eyes is beautiful. This trailer totally captured the spirit of the book! I have watched it five or six times already.

  40. Not Of This World says:

    Wow! Best Trailer yet!

  41. Am I the only one not happy with the trailer???

    • FriendOfNarnia2 says:

I'm sure there is somebody out there who doesn't like it, but it isn't me. Sorry.

    • Doug says:

I think the trailer looks good, visually. But whether it truly is "The Voyage of the Dawn Treader", or instead is "A Movie Based on the Characters in C.S. Lewis' 'The Voyage of the Dawn Treader' But Really Is a Recycled 'Lord of the Rings' Wannabe" is yet to be seen. We'll just have to wait and see the whole thing. (I can understand why they didn't use the second title idea, though – much too long for the poster.)

      • exactly this.
I know we can't tell completely yet from the trailer, but it really does look like it won't be close to the spirit of the book 🙁

      • FriendOfNarnia2 says:

This looks nothing like Lord of the Rings.

      • JadistarkilleR says:

Doug, as the saying goes… There is always the book 🙂

      • Manuel says:

We must to keep in mind that the trailer is not the abstract of the film, but essentially part of a marketing campaign. They know exactly what to put in a trailer to catch the attention of a bigger audience: to show the story in the simpliest way as possible and to focus in the action sequences.

The trailer should help us to figure out how Apted translated the text of C.S. Lewis into images, I mean the colors, the CGI, the camera angles, and in that aspect I´m amazed at the creativity of the production team 🙂

But in the other hand, it´s totally unfair to judge the details of the screenplay watching just 2.18 minutes of 112 minutes… in that aspect in particular I trust in Tirian analysis, this movie is gonna rock! 😉

  42. grownuplucy says:

Love the white witch's GREEN eyes! I hope that is forshadowing of the soon to come Green Witch in The Silver Chair!

      • dinode says:

To put it more politely, Jadis, AKA the White Witch, is NOT the Lady of the Green Kirtle. In spite of the fact that they used the same actress for both in the BBC version, the only thing Lewis ever says they have in common is that they are both northern witches trying to take over Narnia.

    • JadistarkilleR says:

i actually wouldnt mind this. Specially if we get Tilda Swinton back in the role.

if theres one thing i learned from the LOTR fandom, is that extreme Purism (and Revisionism) never did a story any good, specially if you're trying to market this to people who arent part of the built in fanbase. Purists can bellyache all they want, but no one can argue the fact that Swinton can command the screen. And thats exactly what we need for whoever will play LOTGK. AND for simplicity's sake for those who dont eat drink and sleep Narnia (which is 95% of those who will see this) if they can have one constant that connects this whole franchise together other than Aslan (the representative of Good), then let it be that one constant representative of Evil in the face of the White Witch.

Visualization people. Matters a lot in a communications medium called film.

    • Bookwyrm says:

So should Georgie play Jill and Aravis then since we already know she's a good child actress?

      • SnowingRoses says:

*Rolls her eyes* That has nothing to do with this and you know it, Bookwyrm. CS Lewis never specified whether Jadis was LotGK, whether you want to believe it or not. He did with Aravis, Jill, and Lucy.

      • Bookwyrm says:

Actually he did too. Did you miss the multiple references to Northern witches and the LotGK being of the same crew as the WW? Oh and the fact that the WW is *dead*.

      • SnowingRoses says:

But nobody knew much about the LotGK in the first place. What little they did was told to Eustace and Jill. Besides, Jadis could have been brought back to life again, like Ninnabrik (I'm almost certain I spelled that wrong) was going to help do in the Prince Caspain BOOK. It makes sense to me, because both had similair tactics- Jadis and LotGK stayed out of Narnia for some time in the books before attempting to conquer it. Only difference- Jadis succeded.
Correct me if I'm wrong. I'm really not being sarcastic now.

      • SnowingRoses says:

Well, okay, there is another difference- LotGK wasn't very icy. But maybe Jadis just got tired of being cold all the time. (Kidding, kidding.) Or she tried a different approach. (VEEEERY POSSIBLE.) Or maybe she thought Aslan was afraid of tunnels. (Unlikely.)
Or even… *turns off the lights and gabs a flashlight* LOTGK WAS THE SISTER OF JADIS!!!
Bleh. Even I hope they don't do that.
Point is, LotGK could be Jadis. Or she could be another whitch altogther. But as far as I know, it was never firmly confirmed.

      • Bookwyrm says:

Do they actually ever say anywhere that Aslan isn't really a dude in a lion costume? 😛 There are multiple lines referring to them being separate characters. If Lewis had intended to make them the same person, he would have done so. As it stands, the burden of proof falls on the people claiming something is true that the author never claimed and all they can produce is random fanfiction ideas that have no basis in the books.

      • SnowingRoses says:

I've never met a dude with four legs who could romp like a lion while he was big costume. I've also never met a robot who could die from a knife stab. Have you? I'd love to hear about it.
Besides. I don't approve of fanfiction. Get that straight.

      • McGunn says:

I totally get why people worry about the film producers making Jadis and TLGK the same, as they are not in the book, BUT I can see why the movie makers might want to let Tilda play both characters.

First of all because of the audience of the movies who will recognize her and find it easier to "relate" to her.

Also, if we think of the Chronicles as being an allegory to the Bible, even though Jesus won over Satan on the cross Satan is still active and will be until Jesus returns and shall end his power once and for all.

I seriously don't think it would be a major problem if Tilda played TLGK as well, but we'll just have to wait and see, won't we?

      • JadistarkilleR says:

a flimsy comeback Bookwyrm, and thats all i will say about your statement, since others have already pounced you on that. and really, i would much rather flog the other dead horse– Jadis and LOTGK.

you can have the entire 2 page spread in the book with big bold letters stating the simple fact that Jadis and LOTGK are different characters. and it still wouldnt change the fact that you have an essentially disjointed 7-book tale with a lot of characters per book, tied together by a few significant characters and one lion.

that is not gonna work for a film franchise for obvious reasons.

and one other thing, what is so revolting about the idea of Jadis and LOTGK being represented by the same person? arent they both a personification of evil? the devil to Aslan's God? so what's the problem if they simplified one step and just have Tilda Swinton as the embodiment of evil that keeps coming back into Narnia in various forms– White Witch, LOTGK– because thats what its all about isnt it? The struggle between good (God) versus evil (the Devil)? or are you so lost staring at the every vein in the leaf that you fail to see the forest?

      • Princess Lucy says:

we can just wait until the filmmakers make their decision and then we will have abetter idea what their plan is…now we have no idea and even them of how the villian in the silver chair will be portrayed….but it would be better if we get a different actress…i mean shes a different person who wants to take over narnia…just because the ww and the witch in SC have the same plan…it doesn't mean its the same person…different people often have the same plan…

      • Bookwyrm says:

You disapprove of fanfiction, but not of WW=LotGK, an idea not found in the books? Curiouser and curiouser.

The difference between the defeat of Satan by Jesus in the Bible and the defeat of the WW by Aslan in LWW is that the Biblical defeat is never described as anything but a spiritual victory. Far different from Aslan biting Jadis' head off or crushing her windpipe, whichever it was he did. If you subscribe to the WW=Satan theory, then a far more apt comparison would be that of Satan's destruction in Revelation.

The "pouncings" were pretty flimsy too. 😛 I'm not exactly certain what robots have to do with anything I said. And if you're going to combine the witch roles to lend structure, why not combine more roles? Cut Eustace from VDT and have Lucy and Edmund replace Eustace and Jill in SC. If they should keep bringing back Tilda to lend continuity or whatever, why risk the franchise on two new protagonists people might not like?

I'm "revolted" by the idea because it's a significant change made to the story that only serves to weaken Aslan and transform the God/rebellious evil doer dynamic of the Aslan and the WW to a Good Powerful Entity/Bad Powerful Entity dynamic. If Aslan cannot keep the Witch dead, he clearly isn't divine or she is equally divine. And besides all of that theology, it takes a unique and IMHO more interesting character than the WW and turns her into some sort of comic book supervillain cheating death ad nauseum. If they make the LotGK Jadis, they might as well stick Tilda in a vulture headdress for LB and call her Tash because everyone will be assuming he is her anyway.

  43. Bethany Weathers says:

This looks great. For the first time, I am super pumped for this movie.

  44. jag says:

1 MONTH EXACTALLY for me to wait!!! I am so lucky to be living in Australia… we get the film on the 9th Dec. not 10th… but we often do get them one day before everyone else!!!! GAH cant wait!!! AMAZING TRAILER. post it to facebook, so everyone can see it! 🙂

  45. Omac the centaur says:

THAT. WAS. AWESOME. i am speechless. O.O this is going to be amazing!!!!!!!

  46. Talvi says:

Wow. AWESOME! Though it brought up more questions than it answered, ha ha. X3
For the most part I loved it, except for one part – ‘Enemies unite????’ if that has anything – ANYTHING – to do with the white Witch, I will NOT be a happy camper. Why can’t she just stay dead?? Edmund beat her in PC and wasn’t tempted by her. If he ends up giving in and ‘uniting’ with her… D:
    *ahem*
other than that, loved it. a lot. <3
Oh, and I'm 95 percent sure that 'No fear! No retreat!' Is Reepicheep. (It sounded like Simon Pegg – have heard plenty of him from Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead! xD)

Actually there was a report out recently from someone who has seen the film, and they confirmed that the witches scene was very minor… just a dream that Ed has… so you can put those fears to rest! 🙂

      • Talvi says:

oh, really?? *takes huge sigh of relief* phew!!!! Thank you for telling me that, that just saved me a month's worth of fretting. XD *shakes fist at Fox* enough with the misleading marketing! xD

A better picture of Peter, Susan and Ed! Yeah!

  48. Follower of Aslan says:

I think this one is the best yet! Visually AMAZING! If taken really objectively, from a person who does not know much about Narnia, this story looks fun! Like an interesting movie to go see in theaters! Yessss!!! Stoked, excited, amazed, brilliant, and jumping for joy!
    (despite the semi-negative implications)

  49. coracle says:

Well, that was a great deal of fun and excitement!

I continue to be very confident and have high expectations of this film.

  50. Prince Norin says:

Best trailer yet! And my hopes are raising that we will indeed not see Susan and Peter in anywhere that is inappropriate… they appear to be in England, as their promotional clothing in all the posters and such suggested in the first place. I really hope that the whole "Narnian clothes" thing was just an adversising gimmick.

  51. De_De says:

Wow! This is great! I love almost everything! I am of course sad about the seven swords. But if the movie turns out to be very good, then I think I'll be able to overlook it.

  52. SWEET!! This movie is going to be the awesomest ever!! :D:D Talk about EPIC! 😀 OH YEAH! :D:D *jumps up and down and squeels*

  53. JadistarkilleR says:

wow that look a whole lot better than expected didnt it? 😀

yes that was an understatement 😉

my only issue with it was that they showed THE ENDING in the trailer. kind of a pet peeve.

    but anyway carry on.

  54. Christina says:

What is the White Witch trying to do? Is she like in love with him or something?

  55. SilverChair says:

I used to be very active in the NarniaWeb forums, but have since gone to lurking. Visit the homepage every day, and the viewing of this trailer has really, really moved me…causing me to comment! Best one yet, I think. The visuals are outstanding. Cannot wait to see this.

  56. Serenia says:

    Visually stunning!

  57. Lillyput90 says:

This is looking better! I like the way it is beginning to actually look like Narnia:). Don't really like the whole swords thing, or the dark island that eats souls, it seems very "Pirates of the Caribbean"-ish. I honestly can't see why they would put something like that in this story, as if nightmares coming true weren't scary enough – no! No, the island has to eat/engulf/whatever you like to call it, the souls of innocent slaves (Why even bother with the title "slaves", they should be called "victims we captured to feed the island"). I mean, what is up with this? Anyway……I like this trailer:)

    I…CAN'T….STOP…LOOKING…AT…IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
