Deluxe Hardcover Slipcase Edition of The Chronicles of Narnia Coming in November
HarperCollins have announced a “7-in-1 Deluxe Hardcover Slipcase” edition of The Chronicles of Narnia that will be releasing in November as part of the ongoing 75th Anniversary Celebrations.
This new release follows hot on the heels of the similarly titled “Deluxe Edition” which was announced back in May and is due for release this October.
The new Slipcase Edition not only features an additional fabric slipcase, but also includes a faux suede spine and a new cover art design with matte lamination, foil, and embossing. You can take a look at this new collected edition in three dimensions via the video below:
This latest Narnia release marks a continuation of HarperCollins’ full catalogue refresh during this 75th Anniversary year, during which they have already announced:
- New hardback editions with brand new cover art by Owen Richardson
- New mass market paperbacks with updated cover art by Cliff Nielsen
- A new 7-in-1 deluxe edition
- Updated cover art for the Audio Books
- Two new children’s Board Books
- A 75th Anniversary paperback edition of ‘The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe’
2025 marks 75 years since the publication of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe on October 16, 1950.
It is an honor for books to be in print continuously for 75 years. Thank you, Douglas Gresham, for keeping Lewis’ works in print.
