December 9, 2005 Release Date

The New Zealand Herald and IGN are reporting that the film will open in the US on December 9, 2005. We have been unable to confirm any international release dates with the production although it had been previously reported that the worldwide release would all be on the same day. It seems likely that the Friday, December 9th date will stick, at least in the US in order to avoid the King Kong release date on December 14th.
