Narnia Breaks $200m Internationally

According to Box Office Mojo, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe has passed the 200 Million US$ worldwide mark today with a total of $201,601,357. This includes $122,739,357 Domestically and $78,862,000 Internationally. It’s important to note that the movie has only been released in 13 nations. Many countries will get it later this month and some even in January. (The film won’t release in Japan until March.)

This is a good start for a film that has yet to be released in more than 50 countries. When you compare to King Kong International Box Office of $83,002,080 you must keep in mind that Kong has been released in 66 countries.
