Heyman/Goyer Acquire Rights to ‘Here There Be Dragons’

David Goyer (“Blade” writer/director) and David Heyman (“Harry Potter” producer) have bought the rights to the upcoming book “Here There Be Dragons” by James Owen. The story follows three young boys named John, Jack, and Charles…also known as JRR Tolkien, CS Lewis, and Charles Williams! According to JoBlo.com, “They meet in London during World War I and find themselves in possession of the Imaginarium Geographica, an atlas of all the lands that existed in myth, legend, fairy tale, etc. Together they travel to the Archipelago of Dreams and yada, yada, yada, the cool part is that John, Jack and Charles are actually JRR Tolkien, CS Lewis and Charles Williams, who in real life became friends while young men in London. The book is scheduled to be released next week with a big push from Simon & Schuster who hope it’ll be one of their biggest books this year.” Read the full story here. Thanks to ’Icarus’ for the link!
