“Aslan” Visits the Liverpool Cathedral

From LiverpoolEcho.co.uk: A GIANT statue of CS Lewis’s Aslan the lion will form the centrepiece of a Narnia-inspired day at Liverpool Cathedral. The cathedral will host the Prince Caspian Narnia Experience for youngsters next Saturday, September 20. Two years ago a Narnia Day attracted 3,000 people. The Aslan statue, carved from half a ton of Welsh oak, was created by garden designer Marney Hall for BBC’s Gardener’s World. You can read the whole story and see a very tiny picture of the statue here. Thanks to Candy for the heads up!
