Additional ‘Caspian’ Extras in Japan and Zavvi Stores in UK

Special Features on the Japanese DVD of Prince Caspian

Special Features on the Japanese DVD of Prince Caspian

It has been a couple days since the U.S./Canada release of The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian on DVD and Blu-ray Disc, and a lot of fans have probably already finished watching all the extras… or so they thought.

NarniaWebber ‘Griffle’ writes:

Two additional discs of extras for Prince Caspian are in existence and if you’re unfortunate enough to live in region 1, 3, 4*, 5 or 6 territory, it’s gonna be really hard for you to be able to see those extras.” (*If you live in Australia, you will be able to get one of the discs)

The only country that gets “Bonus Disc 1” is Japan. All other countries get the same 2-discs of extras as fans in the US. You get an additional disc we don’t get on the other hand; the digital copy disc. BONUS DISC 1 is available exclusively at Zavvi stores in the UK, but all other stores in the UK sell the standard 2-disc affair.

“Bonus Disc 2” can be acquired by buying a 3-Disc DVD set available exclusively at Sanity Stores in Australia or by buying it from their website; You could also get it by buying a 1-Disc set of LWW in Japan, which was available around the time of PC’s theatrical run there.

(Remember that DVDs region-coded, and so may not play on your DVD player if you live outside the country where the movie is being sold)

Fortunately, Griffle has written an in-depth description of these extras that includes screenshots. Read it here.
