Narnian Men Make Empire’s ‘100 Sexiest’ List
EmpireOnline has listed the 100 Sexiest Movie Stars of all time on their website. Two of Narnia’s leading men have made that list: Ben Barnes coming in at #38 (here) and James McAvoy at #9 (here). Maybe this is just my..um..own opinion, but I don't think Ben should have made it at all. Haha, I am probably going to get like a ton of hate comments back now. I just don't think he is that good looking. 😀

actually Ben has dark brown eyes, not black. i dont think any human does. its not part of the normal genetic database.
and i thought his eyes are his best features, goes well with his fair yet masculine face.

well, if it was "the most talented list", you'll have to get rid of the Twilight and HSM fodder, pretty boy models passing themselves off as actors, and you'll be left with a handful of Englishmen, a couple of Americans and Australians and mostly dead actors 😀

give Skandar some time, he *just* turned 18 after all. also, these may be trivial lists, but they do reflect the public's consciousness about an actor and the projects they are involved in, not just that they're good looking. if Skandar is really gonna be serious about his career– say the way Ben is serious about his– give it a few years and Skandar will be on the lists like these. i can (almost) guarantee it 😉

Narnia gave James McAvoy his big mainstream break. however, it was Wanted that made him a household name.
here's hoping that a certain movie set in Middle Earth would make him a legend 🙂
William M and Skandar has to be in other distinguishing projects other than Narnia. its a big reason why James and Ben made it to the list– they're known for other roles other than their Narnia stint.
Johnny Depp is #1 on the sexiest list for men, Megan Fox is #1 for the women's list.
and Star Wars fans have much to rejoice, since the list also has Harrison Ford, Ewan McGregor, Natalie Portman and Kiera Knightley ranking in the top 100.

I think whether someone is good-looking or not is a matter of opinion. And I also think that "sexy" is a bad way to describe someone. It's just my opinion, but why can't they use a different word? Oh well.

What is with all these people posting the question "Is this good?" Heck, yeah, this is good. This is really good publicity for Narnia, and honestly just chill with the whole "sexy" thing. I mean they're are attractive and they're in the acting business so we can't expect them not to be noticed. And just a side note: Jame Mcavoy is freaking amazing!!!

indeed, but Hayden needs to diversify his roles, get a bit more high profile work and not just indy/ ensemble ones. unfortunately lists like these arent just for aesthetics, truth to be told its a powerplay list. notice how everybody in the top 10 are hollywood power players with clout, nevermind the fact that they're not really that good looking. thats the reality of it. James Franco is no more good looking or more talented than Hayden, yet he's on the list. thts because James has had a lucky streak of films, if not some really distinguishable indies, they're tantalizing Oscar baits.

Could you explain how you can say this list is bad and shows how "horrible" the world is, but calling Will and Skandar hot and talking about crushing on them is different? "Hot" and "Sexy" mean the exact same thing.

I agree. I'll admit if a guy is good looking,I'll say the same about girls too. But I don't like to think of them as…sexy. It just sounds wrong and shows ether bad training and/or perverted thinking. Not what I want to be.

with all due respects to Mr Pattinson, he has looks, but no match to rival the likes of Depp, Bale, Pitt or Jackman. and it takes more than a truckloads of screaming girls to be a powerplayer the likes of RDJ, Rickman and the other gents already mentioned. what Pattinson has is ridiculous current popularity which almost always equals to more $$$$$ (which for the studios, is all that matters). i wish i could say that he has talent that makes up for his somewhat average looks– the way (truthfully) McAvoy is– but he's short on that also.
i'm not saying that Pattinson doesnt belong to the list, his immense popularity is proof alone that he should figure in there. but he doesnt really deserve to place that highly, at spot #2, or anywhere on the top 10 even (and to be fair, neither should McAvoy be at #9 either). i always thought that the top 10 belongs to the powerplayers, and the next 10 belongs to the most promising up and comers. Pattinson is a promising up and comer, but so is Ben Barnes and James McAvoy.
