  2. Narnia_Maniac says:

Quest for the Lost Lords? Hmm… doesn't sound too bad ^_^

  3. HighQueen_Of_LanternWaste says:

    I love them!

  4. Ali says:

Lucy looks so rockin' in that first pic. Want her outfit!

  5. King_Cor_the_Great says:

ugh they put reepicheep back on the logo for the second one!!!!! NOOOO!!!!!

  6. King_Cor_the_Great says:

    and the first one?????? ugh!!!

  7. Edmund the Just says:

I like the picture of the first book cover.
Lucy's clothes are starting to look a little bit to Masculine.
In the book she had to were men's clothes till they got to the Lone Islands. But not the hole voyage.

  8. Edmund the Just says:

I do not agree with you to the least bit.
You do not have the right taste.

  9. Pepper Darcy says:

WOW, I love the cover of that first picture! =) oh, I mean of the first book. And I *love* lucy's costume! EEEEE! it's sooo awesome! =) I'm drooling! =D

And the boxed set… oh.my.goodness. that is *awesome* I was wanting to buy a *nice* set of that for my hopechest, and I know what I'm going to get now! 😀

And we saw a Narnia Poster at the theaters yesterday! Yippee! And saw the Narnia Trailer in 3D right before they played Toy Story 3!! It's gonna be awesome! 😀

Anywho, those are *great* covers! 🙂 I am so buying the boxed set from Amazon! =) But I want to know what the third side looks like 😉

  10. King_Cor_the_Great says:

look, it just seems a bit much and random to have him like flying over Lucy and all of them

  11. LucyTheValiant says:

    i agree…i absolutly love these overs 🙂
    sail on VDT!

  12. Adeona says:

A ton better then the last batch. Love the new group photo, too!

  13. Adeona says:

Yes, definitely the one of the biggest negatives about the VDT advertising so far has been Reepicheep popping up in all sorts of unnecessary locations. He looks so horribly random and sticks out like a sore thumb.

  14. Adeona says:

Upon closer examination, Edmund looks awful in that group photo. The poor guy is not very photogenic, is he? The only good images we have of him for VDT are trailer screencaps.

They should have chosen a better photo.

  15. Aslan's Meadow says:

    That title is very uplifting,
    I'm sure some were expecting
"Return to the Magic and Help a Star Save Narnia (again) by Saving the Lost Sould that are Disappearing, and oh Yeah Edumnd Get's a Lightsaber Sword."
    lol

  16. narnian resident says:

LOVE the first cover!!! Lucy's costume is so awesome! all four of them look great!

  17. Caspian XI says:

I'm getting that "Quest for the Lost Lords" and "Aboard the Dawn Treader" books just for the pictures, even though I'm a bit too old for them =). I just CAN'T wait for the movie to come out! =D

  18. narnian resident says:

i agree that he isnt very photogenic. in all the pictures i look at of them, he tends to either be not smiling or just looking awkward. i wonder if he doesnt like pictures? you can almost tell if a person likes being taken pictures of or not by the way they look on camera.

  19. Starlily says:

Hahahahahahahahahaha!!! They wouldn't dare use a title like that! For one thing, everyone would boycott the film. And for another, these are "I can read" books, and the little kids could never get all the way through that title!! Lol!

  20. Wow, the first cover is awesome! Me thinks that is at the end of the world!

  21. Aslan's Meadow says:

    HEY!
I was looking at some VDT pictures from Narnia.com and my brother noticed the Eustace is holding a kitchen knife….did anyone else catch that?
    http://www.pyxidis.fr/include/images/thumb.php?src=http://www.pyxidis.fr/news/uploads/images/1277849504.jpg&w=800&f=jpg&q=100&fltr[]=wmi|/img/watermark.png|BR|100

  22. Aslan's Meadow says:

The above link didn't copy like it was suppose to, but on Narnia.com if you look at the character profiles you acn see on Eustace's that he is indeed holing a kitchen knife, maybe Caspian ran out of swords

  23. Starlily says:

I like the pictures! I wonder what the four kids are looking at? (I know Caspian's not really a kid–but he's still young 😉 ) And I can't wait until these come out! The first chance I get I'm going to rush into the bookstore and devour those little "I can read" books! (I may be twenty but I'm a five-year-old at heart) I hope they have lots more pictures inside, including some of the seven lords!

  24. Daredevil says:

Please try keep your comments relevant to the news story… and please pleaseee don't just use the "Reply" function to make your post appear nearer to the top of the list. It is clear that your response had no relation to the message to which you were replying, and has no relation to the news story either.

  25. Starlily says:

If he didn't have his head turned oddly, and wasn't squinting, he'd look much better. As for the others, I think Caspian looks great (even his beard 🙂 ), Lucy looks lovely with her hair down, and Eustace looks real nice! I think this is after he's been undragoned, because he looks friendly and is dressed in Narnian clothes.

But I really want to know what they're looking at!

  26. icarus says:

I was wondering the same thing. Given that Eustace is wearing his "Narnian" outfit, it would have to be somewhere near the end of the story – added to the fact that they are all stood in a line, and that they are in the same order in which they are stood in the shot of the End of the World in the trailer, you would have to assume this is the same scene, and therefore that they are looking at Aslan.

The background is the only thing that doesn't quite match with that scene (looks to be some sort of bay area behind them), but you could just assume its been photoshopped that way for the book cover.

Of course, it could just be a posed-for publicity shot 😉

  27. GlimGlum says:

Something new! Anything new! Sail on VDT! 🙂

  28. narnime says:

i hope they come up with a movie companion book soon 🙂 it's sooo cool!!!!!!!

  29. Why pre-order them through Amazon? Why not Zondervan or Christianbook.com? The movie tie-in boxed set is available October 10 through Christianbook.com! Two weeks earlier than Amazon!

  30. icarus says:

One new book cover at HarperCollins Australia:
    http://www.harpercollins.com.au/books/Voyage-Dawn-Treader-Movie-Storybook-No-Author/?isbn=9780007366224
Note how although its again the same montage as the theatre standee and elsewhere, the image of Lucy is completely different – more happy, less creepy 😉 See it in big here: http://www.harpercollins.com/harperimages/isbn/large/4/9780007366224.jpg

  31. Starlily says:

I'm crossing my fingers for a movie companion too, but since they haven't announced it yet, the chances are looking pretty slim. 🙁

  32. No way! really? Oh, I can't wait!!!

  33. decarus says:

The photo of the four has to be from the end of the world. Nice.

  34. pselpevensie says:

    MUST ORDER!!!!!!!!!!

  35. JillPoleWannaBe says:

OH! for a moment I though Lucy and Caspian were holding hands!

  36. JillPoleWannaBe says:

    Sorry Daredevil.
I just don't have an account, so this is the only way I can tell people. But for now on, I'll keep things to myself. 🙂
    Sorry everyone!

  37. Aslan's Meadow says:

Sorry, I used my siblings username (JillPoleWannaBe) above.

  38. FrecklefaceJill says:

    Awesome!!!!!!!!!! Love 'em!!!!!!!! 😀

  39. Dufflepoodle says:

have you read the book "The Crafting of Narnia: The Art, Creatures, and Weapons from Weta Workshop"
    http://www.amazon.com/Crafting-Narnia-Creatures-Weapons-Workshop/dp/B001O9CDDS/ref=pd_bxgy_b_text_c

    MUST SEE! Incredible concept art!!!

  40. Edson07bs says:

I love almost all of them, I like the second, when Caspian, Lucy, Edmund and Caspian appear, thats amazing, so Narnian. I don't like the aslan's one. Aslan looks too bad in it, that's not our Aslan.

  41. decarus says:

You can write whatever you want as far as i am concerned.

  42. Not Of This World says:

    Awesome!

  43. Warrior 4 Jesus says:

Probably because it's cheaper through Amazon.

  44. Griffle says:

Off topic, but concerning the above artwork: Are we sure that Aslan will be in the film? Everytime I see that image of him, I feel less and less convinced. Common! That's not Aslan, who are you kidding Fox!?

  45. JillPoleWannaBe says:

I'm pretty convinced the Aslan will be in the movie. a Lot of people wouldn't be to happy if they showed him in the trailers and then took him out.
Also It does look like he will be at the end talking to Ed, Lu, Caspian and Eustace. Also he is on the posters, and several of the synopsis's have him in it. Also in the trailer Caspian says "Think of Aslan, Think of Naria.
I don't know, I HOPE he is in it.

  46. JillPoleWannaBe says:

Starlily – I REALLY hope they do have a movie companion. I would be devistated if they didn't
DufflePoole – I read the craftin of Narnia and it was SOOOOO cool! Though the white witches creatures looked kinda creepy.

  47. narnian resident says:

do you mean Caspian, Lucy, Edmund, and EUSTACE?

  48. narnian resident says:

if they even dared to think to not put Aslan in it, i would truly hold a grudge against them the rest of my life.
ok, maybe not, but i would not like them if they did that.

  49. Omac the centaur says:

    dude ur fine.

  50. Omac the centaur says:

haha love ur name dufflepoodle! XD oh and that book is awsome. 🙂

  51. Bookwyrm says:

Taste is a very subjective thing, so it's a bit ridiculous and rude to claim that someone's taste is wrong. 😛

That sad, I'm glad this is the last Reep appearance until LB. I'm sick of them sticking him on the logo. It looks juvenile.

  52. Bookwyrm says:

She's hardly going to wear a floor-length ballgown aboard a ship. 😛 Unless you think the crew being able to see up her underwear when she climbs the rigging is a good thing?

  53. Bookwyrm says:

A lot better than the book covers from the last story.

  54. Talvi says:

He doesn't look *terrible* in this pic, I thought… I thought he looked kinda confused/puzzled, not terrible.
But I've seen his other pictures and I can totally see what you mean. xD He looks great in the movies, but I guess he just doesn't like having his picture taken much. *shrugs*

  55. Daredevil says:

I just think its incredibly rude an impolite to use the "Reply" function to boost your own message nearer to the top, when clearly the message had no relevance to the original post, and further more has no relevance to the news story. At the very least post it as a normal message and let it take its rightful place in the comments list order, rather than using the "reply" function to try to push it ahead of everyone else. Its just disrespectful.

  56. Griffle says:

You really shouldn't take my comment so seriously. You kind of missed the point, both of you. All I'm saying is that the image of Aslan on the box set above, is not an image of the same Aslan that was in LWW, or in PC for that matter. LWW Aslan and PC Aslan don't look the same anyway though, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised. It's a good thing he looks more like PC Aslan in the trailers than he does in that image.

  57. DragonGirl28 says:

    EEE! The first one rocks!!

  58. Reepicheep, Knight of Narnia says:

I don't see a problem with Lucy's clothes. In the book, it only talks about the boots and things that she gets in the Lone Islands. I think that for convenience's sake, it makes sense for her to wear pants.
