Wow! awesome.. can't wait till it comes out! Sail On Dawn Treader!

  2. FierceQueen says:

They brought the torch back! Hehe!

    • Silver the Wanderer says:

YES! YES! I was SO hoping they'd do that. I'd love for Caspian to pull it out when he gives Lucy her cordial back and say, "Oh and Edmund, you forgot this." πŸ˜›

      • wolfloversk says:

Hah! Yes that would be AWESOME!!!

      • Rilian says:

        With what? Narnian batteries?

      • narnian resident says:

ha that would be the perfect line for Caspian if he gives it back!
@Rilian: thats really funny! made me laugh πŸ˜€

      • Dawn Trekkie says:

Ha ha ha! Genius! I will burst out laughing in the theater if that happens! xD

      • Lady if the Green Kirtle says:

They probably thought it was magical, like Susan's horn and Lucy's cordial. The batteries probably lasted so long because it was never used

      • yeah, that awesome, but if edmund leaves it again, he'll have to say "Do you suppose there's anyway we can get back? I left my old torch in Narnia!" ;}

      • Pepper Darcy says:

yeah, that's the first thing I noticed, the torch… besides the fact it lookslike they're in some sort of belltower… that set looks *so* epic! =) I love the way it looks! =D

      • Liberty Hoffman says:

yeah! I was hoping for the flashlight to come back! yay!
where are they in this shot and where is Eustace? is this The Lone Islands?

      • SavedByGrace says:

That would be so funny πŸ˜› I love that it comes back; I've always wondered what happened to his torch.

    • Bookwyrm says:

Unless batteries were drastically different in WW2 times, those things would be corroded and leaking battery acid. Certainly in no shape to light a flashlight.

      • Violamom says:

It was the Narnian air! πŸ˜› (Hey, it has a strengthening effect on everything else, why not the batteries??) I personally think it's lovely Ed's been reunited with his beloved torch, hee hee. And I love the costumes I'm seeing in all these pictures…just gorgeous, with obvious attention to detail. ONLY 100 DAYS LEFT!!!! πŸ˜€ <><

      • not in just 3 years…i'm the daughter of a power supply designer, and if put under the correct conditions, i.e.: kept cool and dry, then batteries can last a good long time.

    • Shastafan says:

I know! That's hilarious! A while ago, I was joking with my sister that Caspian would give Edmund his torch back and say, "I've found it very useful in my reign. Sorry though, it won't work anymore for some reason!" I can't believe we were right! πŸ˜€

      • Pepper Darcy says:

my sister and I always said 'aw, they should use Ed's torch in VotDT, it' be so cool,' well, it did happen, didn't it?! πŸ™‚

  3. The first image really confuses me, but both of these look awesome!

Good to see Edmund finally got his torch back. πŸ˜‰

  4. Malfhok says:

Well, we've seen the second one before on the cover of a book… Only it was flopped.

The first one is cool, though. My bet is Narrowhaven.

    • Beren says:

my first impression was Narrowhaven too, but why in the world would they be sneaking around looking at old books there? I have a feeling this has to do with the lost souls deal or something…it feels sinister.

      • Malfhok says:

Yeah, I don't know. I guessed it was Narrowhaven based on the rope hanging down.

Maybe they're just looking for the records of something that they need to get after Gumpas with. Can't wait to find out.

  5. Narnia_Maniac says:

Very curious indeed! Nice to see the torch! ^^

  6. Northernranger says:

Sweet. I can't think of anything in the book that would go along with the first picture so it must be one of the new plots they added. The second one looks like the picture of the Pevensies in PC when they save Trumpkin. Keep the story of Aslan alive!!!

  7. Ugly Pig says:

The first one appears to have a rope hanging from above in the background… Presumably they had to climb down it to get to wherever they are??

  8. Son of Rillian says:

I like The first picture, because we get to see something different.

  9. eustacegirl says:

they called Gerogie Anna!!!!!! I AM APPALLED! Ok, just kidding. But seriously, THAT IS GEORGIE HENLEY!

    • Queen Elizabeth says:

I know right! They did the same thing with the guys names. I love the second picture the most. New trend! High waisted pants! haha and Lucy and Caspian look like they almost have matching belts. haha

      • Talvi says:

Well, they might actually BE matching, lol! If I can remember correctly from the book, Lucy just borrowe Caspian's clothes. He could very well have a couple of matching belts! XD Either way, the second image rocks – the 'new trend' of high pants, as you said, suits them! XD

      • Queen Elizabeth says:

The thing about the belts is probably true. I forgot that she borrows his clothes. But they fit so well! lol

  10. LB says:

if you go to the mtv site and look at the pictures, it looks like they mixed up the names and put anna popplewell instead of georgie henley ! i know anna is supposed to make a cameo, but i dont think her name it supposed to be mentioned with the main characters lol :O

  11. Arden says:

The second caption is messed up on MTV's site. They have Will Poulter confused with Will Moseley. . .

  12. NextJillPole says:

"I left my new torch in Narnia." Well it looks like he got it back! πŸ™‚

  13. Starlily says:

What are they looking at in the first picture??? I'm a little worried about that, since it's obviously not in the book. I really hope it's not too weird. I keep hearing people talk about the leaked script and strange plotlines that involve slavers and the stone knife and seven swords and a soul-eating cave of doom… It's okay if you don't know what I'm talking about. It's probably better not to know. πŸ˜‰

Anyway, cool pictures. But I'm really curious what that document says in the picture…

    • Kathy says:

Well, the slavers part actually happens in the book, I remember. So at least that's canon?

      • Starlily says:

You're right, there are slavers in the book, and I won't mind if they're given a slightly bigger role at Narrowhaven. But I hope there aren't any silly added scenes like I heard about in the leaked script. And if the slavers DO slide down ropes in the bell tower (as it's rumored they'll do), I fervently hope it won't be too cheesy. The image in my mind's eye is pretty ridiculous right now…

    • narnian resident says:

and the stone knife and seven lords are part of it too. the seven lords are a BIG part of it! they are the reason for their quest. and there is a scene where they see the stone knife the Witch had killed Aslan with on the food table at Ramandu's island.

    • PerAnkh says:

Where did you find the leaked scripts?

      • Starlily says:

I didn't. I looked it up on the internet, and found a page where someone talks about it. And I've also been listening to all the Narniawebbers talk about it for months. I have too much time on my hands. πŸ˜‰

  14. decarus says:

Edmund has his torch. They brought that back since he left it in Narnia.

  15. Kotarki says:

    (cough) belltower scene (cough)

  16. WillowofNarnia says:

YES!!! Edmund's got his torch back!!! πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€ Caspian looks amazing, and so do the rest. That first picture really makes me curious. What are they looking at I wonder? Can't wait to see the movie!

  17. true-narnian_queen says:

  18. decarus says:

    Definitely Narrowhaven.

  19. Tribunal says:

Well the look of both of these images is just amazing, much better than anything shown in the trailers/ clips that have been released.

My faith on this film has been renewed!

  20. Queen Elizabeth says:

Hurray for the torch! I wonder how they found it though to give back to Edmund. Maybe Caspian was walking around and was like, "Hey it's Edmund's torch!"

  21. NarnianRebel says:

IT'S HIS TORCH!!!! Haha! I like both of them! The first one makes me feel adventurous!

  22. alinebrz says:

The second one reminded me a lot about Pirates of Caribean… they are all so amazing! Can't wait!!!!

  23. Talvi says:

heeey Edmund got a new torch! <3 I was under the impression he'd used it as a lock to keep the door closed during the night raid, and it broke then, but I guess not! woo hoo!

Love both pictures… though the second one looks like a reversed image of the book cover we saw earlier… the 'Quest for the Lost Lords' or something like that?
I shouldn't be posting with no sleep, lol. but it doesn't matter, love both pics! *saves*

  24. always narnian says:

O Wow, neat. But how would Edmund have his 'torch' with him. Did he just have it in his pocket or something when they were in Eustace's room before they left for Narnia?!?!?! Really now!!!!!

  25. Lucy says:

(laughs happily through her tears). Aw, there's no hurt Narnia can't soothe! I was all upset, crying and feeling sorry for myself to no end, and then I saw the new pictures and I actually smiled. And I'm very glad Ed got his torch back! Good for him! At least things go right for SOMEONE even if they are a character from a fictional story.

    • narnian resident says:

thats beautiful, Lucy πŸ™‚ it always makes me feel better too, no matter how sad i am

  26. daughter of the King says:

Belltower scene anyone? Presumably finding something about the seven swords of the seven lost lords in the malevolent mist which causes dreams of a gone-green White Witch.

  27. glumPuddle says:

Did they seriously recover Ed's torch after he left it in Narnia?

    • Lylanarniafan says:

    • FriendOfNarnia2 says:

Well, he could have left it in a place that made it easy to locate. And if they did find, you could be sure they would preserve it. After all, it is the only object they would have that had belonged to Pevensies.

    • MurtaghLuv says:

I bet caspian found it. and decided to keep it.
      thats interesting

    • Talvi says:

Just rewatched the night raid… yep, used as a lock, and coulda sworn it broke when the two telmarines broke down the door.
I'm being a stickler, I know. XD maybe he got a new torch? *shrugs* Either way I like that he has one. πŸ˜€

  28. MurtaghLuv says:

    LUV THEM!!! cant wait!!!!

  29. LadyCourage says:

Very interesting! Lucy and Caspian are wearing the same belt in the second picture… Except I think Lucy's is a bit more narrow. Eustace isn't in the first one either… I agree with the bell tower idea, because that rope looks awfully thick just to be for climbing down. Looks more like a bell rope to me.

  30. narnian resident says:

Edmund found his torch!!! haha i wonder if Caspian had kept that too! that is too cool πŸ˜€
anyway, that first image is really awesome! it looks so cool! and the second one is just that picture from the book cover flipped. thats cool too, cuz it always looks cool πŸ™‚

  31. Nice pictures. But honestly, can we get an "AMEN" that Caspian looks SO much hotter and mature in this than in Princ Caspian? Even if it has only been 3 Narnia years and 1 Earth year, so much better lol. And Edmund and Lucy definetly look more suitable. =)

  32. captain_J-Rock says:

he he he, they have a candle sitting right there and they have Edmund's torch back…..*raises eyebrow and grins* Love the pics!

  33. Umm. Okay.

Are they in a cave in that first pic? The room has pillars… and what's that blue thing? A gem set in the pillar, or a lens flare? Notice the rope behind them. They climbed DOWN into this place.

I hope it's not an underground cave.

Annnnd the infamous torch is back. I wonder why they did that. The batteries would for sure have died by then, and a torch would've served the purpose better while adding a fantasyish feel to the scene.

Doesn't make sense logistically, but whatever.

Will Poulter looks great in that second pic.

  34. Mirima Rosetrader says:

Awesome! I'm so excited! Long live Aslan! Sail on VDT! πŸ˜€

  35. HighQueenofNarnia says:

Love em! And I love Caspian's pose in the second pic!
Georgie and Edmund look (respectively) stunning and amazing, as usual.

  36. LL says:

The batteries seem to still have worked in the torch!

  37. Alambil and Tarvis says:

THE TORCH!!! Ahahaha that is AWESOME! Those must be some awesome batteries…xD

I wonder what Caspian thought when he found it (since I'm assuming he found it and kept it). Being the fanboy that he is, he was probably way too excited to have some artifact from our world and spent all his time playing with it while Trumpkin rolled his eyes at him. LOL :p

  38. QStheG says:

    Wow)))I haven't any words..they're looking so courageous

  39. It will be a great film

  40. adamie says:

Ha! the Narnians seem to have kept edmunds torch!

  41. coracle says:

I suppose they had to bring back the torch since it was so special! I now look forward to hearing a line referring to it. Hehe. Those are quite nice pictures – slightly enigmatic, one doesn't really know what they are about.

  42. Reepicheep says:

It's nice to know Edmund finally got his torch back.

  43. DragonGirl28 says:

Whoa! I wonder where the first one was taken at.

  44. NarniaNerd says:

Ed got his torch back!!! πŸ˜€

  45. Mal says:

aw, i left my torch in narnia! well, apparently caspian saved it! πŸ™‚ fun stuff, nice pics.

  46. The Batman says:

Perhaps the first pic is them looking at books on Governor Gumpas' desk?

  47. PerAnkh says:

First pic in cave looks totally sweet! Although strangely it reminds me of pirates of the caribbean! Which arent bad movies by the way…Caspian looks ten years older, even though its supposed to be only 3. I bet edmund is still going to be my fav. character!

    • Ari says:

You are the only person I've ever heard as having Edmond as their favorite character. Glad to know there's more out there.

  48. demi says:

Mtv really needs to brush up on their narnia but lol on the whole torch thing πŸ™‚ caspian would keep it

  49. Lady Galadriel says:

The only place this could be (going by the book) is the Lone Islands. I have an idea that it might be where Caspian learns that the Lone Islands have not paid their tribute to Narnia, but we don't know if that's even been preserved from book to movie, so I guess we'll just have to see.

  50. Pepper Darcy says:

Wow, this is so amazing. I am *so* hyped about this right now. The sets look beautiful! And *so* epic! It's pretty neat seeing them 'sneaking' into some sort of library place =)

I was so thrilled to see Edmund has his torch. The look on Lucy and Edmund's faces as they look at the books are pretty neat! =)) I *love* the way this movie is turning out!!

  51. Reepicheep775 says:

The electric torch is comin' back!

  52. Queen of Narnia says:

AHHHH! I want it to be december sooooo bad! oh, and does anyone know where they are in the first picture?

  53. Cabungirl says:

You guys are so funny about the batteries LOL. I'm not going to spoil it as I said before but you will love have Edmund gets his torch back.

  54. The Rose-Tree Dryad says:

Lol, the first picture makes me think of Indiana Jones!

I actually really, really like the inclusion of the torch. There's something so eerie and cool about technology from the 40's appearing in a scene that is otherwise completely medieval-looking. One of those "what's wrong with this picture?" moments.

I have no idea what kind of scene this will be in the movie, though. Staring reeeally hard at the shadowy piece of parchment facing the camera, it looks like the word "Ships" is written there, but yikes, it's hard to tell. I don't really understand the idea of sensitive documents being stored in a belltower, though. With the way they always seem to be ridden with pigeons or bats, it doesn't seem like the best place for protecting ancient books, lol.

As for the mysterious blue UFO beside Caspian, could that possibly be Lilliandil?

The second picture looks really nice! I'm glad to see they're embracing the high-waisted pants trend, lol. I'm thinking this must be from later in the movie, after the undragoning, because Eustace is in Narnian clothes.

    • Starlily says:

Yeah, I like how out-of-place the torch looks. πŸ™‚ The Narnians probably think it's magic, and I bet Caspian plays with it when he thinks no one is looking. πŸ˜› (Remember how fascinated he is with things from our world)

And yeah, I bet that flash of light in the background is Lilliandil, keeping an eye on Caspian at all times like his very own little guardian star… *rolls eyes* I hope it's just a reflection.

  55. pselpevensie says:

those are soo cool!!!!!!! i wonder what those books are that the 3 are looking at…
can't wait to find out!!!! ONLY 100 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! πŸ™‚

  56. QueenLucy12 says:

LOL Ed Got his Torch back!!! thats just funny. In the 2nd picture theirs like a rope or something in the background.
in the 1st pic ed's standing weird. lol! I am very excited!!! 3 MONTHS CAN U GUYS BELIEVE IT ALREADY!?????? I remember In March when I first started coming to the site!

  57. QueenAravis says:

Lovein` the big belts! haha! πŸ™‚
