The pictures look amazing! Love the glow on the first one, those make me even more excited for the movie!

  2. I continue to be very impressed by the visuals. I know a lot of people wont, but I like the effect on Ramandu's Daughter. It looks less sci-fi/alienish with the glowing dust than it did in the trailer. I'm hoping she'll look that way in the film.

The end of the world looks almost just as I imagined it. Fantastic!

  3. DominicLovesNarnia says:

awesome! πŸ˜€ can't wait for the film .. gonna watch it 2 times when it release on December 09!

  4. Narnia-Fan1 says:

I like those picture! Especially the last one! So Ed, Lu and Eustace are going back to their world throug the gate Aslan opens in the wave? Thats like when God opens parts the sea and the israelites walk through it… cool idea!

  5. adamie says:

The visuals look great, but Aslan is really huge in the second picture! He looks bigger than Capian.
Also, Are the pevensies and Eustace entering Aslan's country?

  6. Narnian Meerkat says:

    Ooooooooooooo. . . .Awwwwesssooooooommmmmme. . . .

  7. Josh says:

Good pictures. But what exactly are the "major spoilers"?

  8. Thyservant says:

Though it's just about 120 minutes, I'm sure it will be 120 minutes of wonder!!!

  9. FriendOfNarnia2 says:

It's interesting that in the trailers Aslan doesn't look nearly as big as he does here. I wonder if he will grow in size in front of their eyes.

  10. FriendOfNarnia2 says:

I'm guessing they are because it reveals how Edmund, Lucy, and Eustace get back to their world.

  11. Pepper Darcy says:

wow. This movie is going to knock the socks off the first two! Epicwise (scenery included) and adaptionwise! It's so beautiful! It looks just the way I imagined Narnia– magical and breathless! πŸ˜€

  12. Pepper Darcy says:

*jaw hangs wide open* wow.wow.wow.wow!! (I just finished looking up close at these wonderful pictures) Apted you are AMAZING! I am SO glad you directed this one. You captured EVERYTHNG that was beautiful and amazing in the book for me! You captured the innocence of Narnia, the magic of the world, and the sense of good vs. evil! This movie is soooooo wonderful! CanNOT wait for it! Aslan looks so much better than in PC!

  13. Starlily says:

BEAUTIFUL pictures! I like that Aslan is bigger than we thought he might be; that's the way it should be. I think the third picture is when Caspian wants to go to Aslan's Country with Reepicheep (I'm more okay with that now. In the book Caspian had a choice too, only Aslan had to be more forceful with him). And I love the last picture! The CGI looks so much better than before. Can't wait to see this scene in the movie!

  14. Aslan's Meadow says:

I would have liked it to have a lttle less glow. I wanted her a little less star and more human. But I'm sure they'll do great. I also LOVE the end of the world. I freaked out. When the Pevensies and Eustace go into the wall of water….that is by far the best picture. And Aslan looks larger then the trailer (thank goodness.) CAN'T WAIT

  15. McGunn says:

Wow, there seem to be news all the time now that we're so close to the premiere…

The pictures are amazing and look exactly the way I hoped – I think when I sit in the cinema I'll cry just because of the beauty of the pictures.

If Heaven is half as stunning as what we see here I'll be satisfied, but of course Heaven will be much, much more!

  16. Rhys says:

The Liliandil effects are much improved- they looked tacky in the first trailer, but they look wonderful here.

  17. Eviliini says:

Beautiful! Aslan is bigger, which is brilliant, but he looks more like the Aslan in PC. I don't know what happened between LWW and PC, but he looked much better in the first film. Ben's great in the third picture, the look on his face just tells how much he wants to go with Reep. I'm impressed! This scene could actually turn out pretty good. I hope it isn't too much like the goodbye scene in PC the movie, the scene in VDT should be much sadder and more bittersweet and hopeful than what they achieved in PC.

  18. Samuel says:

In the third picture they must be watching reepicheep go to Aslan's country, note how reep is not in the fourth picture. Love the Liliandil effect, but I am assuming that is a frame right before she transforms back into the star… sigh, I still don't like the whole shape-shifter thing. She IS a star, not becomes a stars, or transforms into a girl

  19. Starlily says:

Yeah, we can't even imagine how awesome and gorgeous Heaven will be. Sometimes it blows my mind…

  20. StephanieTheFaithful says:

Oh my Goodness!! Some how I guess that they were going to leave Narnia by walking through the Wave/Water! I wonder if they are going to fall out of the painting and land on floor staring at it??

    Stephanie

  21. pselpevensie says:

THOSE PICS ARE SO TOTALLY AWESOME!!!!!! I LOVED THE LAST ONE OF LUCY, EDMUND, AND EUSTACE WALKING ONTO THE WATERFALL!!!!!!!! SOOOOOO COOL!!!!!!!! CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS MOVIE!!!!

  22. Eavis says:

Awesome. Awesome! Yes! I am absolutely delighted at the way Aslan looks! That was something that really, really bugged me in the first one, esp, was the way Peter was bigger than Aslan. Finally! He looks the right size! And I'm glad the Caspian/Aslan moment still looks like it'll be in there…

  23. Eavis says:

Samuel – I agree with you regarding the shapeshifting. But no where in the books does it say that she /was/ a star – only that the 'blood of stars run in her veins" (SC) and of course, as her name states, that she is a Star's Daughter. RD. I can't quite bring myself to call the an Elvish pickle…

  25. Andreya of Narnia says:

*SQUEE* They're all so cool! I simply cannot wait until December!

  26. wild rose says:

The pics are awesome, I love the way Lilliandil came out. The only thing I really, really, really don't like is that Caspian is with Lucy, Edmund and Eustace at the end :(, and I think Aslan doesn't look very real, more like a stuffed animal. But other than that they are great. I love the way they are walking into the wave. Can hardly wait for December 9th πŸ˜€

  27. Narnian Girl says:

Doesn't it come out on December 10? Just wondering…

  28. Narnian Girl says:

They look great! I can hardly wait the 30-some days left!

  29. Aslan's Meadow says:

I would like the first one. Though Lilliandil looks kinda sick.

  30. Kristena says:

    Wow. Bind-blowing pics there….

  31. FriendOfNarnia2 says:

The one where the kids are walking into the wave looks so Narnian!

  32. Who's the source of these photos: the Italian fansite or BenBarnesFan.com? The latter fansite sent us all four stills, plus two more. And the People magazine interview with Ben has a seventh. http://www.aslanscountry.com/2010/11/people-interviews-ben-barnes-plus-more-dawn-treader-stills/

  33. Dernhelm of Rohan says:

WHY IS CASPIAN AT THE GREAT WAVE?! He's supposed to stay on the ship! Lilliandil looks cool… very cold and glittery, like a star.

  34. Melanie says:

Ohh! The picture of the Pevensies and Eustace walking into the water almost gave me chills up and down my spine! Very very cool! Aslan looks huge too!

That picture of Liliandil so deserves a caption contest!!

  35. WarriorOfNarnia says:

    I LOVE the last one!

  36. decarus says:

So Caspian puts his arm in the wave? I wonder if he gets a glimpse of the other side.

Then Aslan creates a hole in the wave that Edmund, Lucy, and Eustace walk through. Alright then.

  37. Greg says:

    Fantastic! So beautiful!

  38. Chad says:

The only thing that really bugs me is the fact that Caspian is with them…he was supposed to have an argument with Ed and then Aslan talks to him and tells him that he can't go to the end of the world!
Other then that the pictures look great!

  39. narnian resident says:

wow….that picture of the kids going into the wave is AMAZING! oh my goodness its so beautiful! and wow! Aslan is BIG! he's bigger than Caspian even, if you look at that picture of them all standing together. i like that. it ties in with the fact that Aslan grows every year the children grow. man, at this rate, by Silver Chair he may be towering over them πŸ˜€

  40. Queen C The Gentle says:

I like the 2nd picture the most. I can't wait to see this film!

  41. Queen Elizabeth says:

I love the never ending waterfall!! They did such a great job on that. This totally tops the charts of epicness!

  42. aladywriting says:

    There, much better: http://i.imgur.com/5HyMA.jpg

  43. NarnianElf says:

I agree completely!! Everything looks so perfect!! I sooo can't wait for this amazing movie!!

  44. The White Wizard says:

The pictures are awesome! πŸ˜€ (can you make the smile bigger?)

  45. The White Wizard says:

I like the Lillandill one the best!

    πŸ™‚

  46. Starlily says:

Haha! Good one. But it won't change the movie any.

  47. WarriorOfNarnia says:

No offense anyone, especially you, Pepper, but I'm VERY upset that Andrew isn't directing this film. I think that this is going the worst Narnia movie, adaptionwise, but it could better quality's than the first two. I feel like Apted is ruining VDT. He is butchering it into a story that is unrecognizable.

  48. Queen Susan the Gentle says:

These are amazing! But if they've kept to the story at all, they aren't really 'major spoilers.'

  49. #4 is my favorite!!! I β™₯ IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

  50. Alambil and Tarvis says:

Maybe it's to stick with the trend that Aslan is supposed to appear bigger the older the kids get πŸ˜‰

  51. Alambil and Tarvis says:

I ADORE the way Caspian is looking at Lilliandil in the first pic. <3

  52. Edson07bs says:

I think I have not been too exited for this movie, but now I am. The pictures looks so amazing, they look so narnian. I can't wait…!!!

  53. Queen Elizabeth says:

ATTENTION: The stars seen in the Lilliandil pic are the same ones on the new Alsan poster (The cover of the soundtrack).

  54. Lilli'sBFF says:

    WAAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!

  55. Bookwyrm says:

Well, Ramandu's Daughter still looks like she's the leading cause of cancer in the DT crew. The wave looks amazing though. Totally satisfied with them changing the door in the air to a door in the wave. Not sure how they could have done a door in the air without it looking cheesy or overly sci-fi.

  56. well it was pretty amazing though i have read it all over again and again specially in this part specifacally when they found ramandu's daughter she's so beautiful and a brief info in the next book she'llbe caspian's wife and bore his child and name him rillian

  57. Fire Fairy says:

The end of the world looks much more impressive in these pictures than it did in the trailer…
