I like Carrie's voice better but very good music vid.

  2. narnian21 says:

Carrie sounds WAY better!!!! Footage is good as usual. And what the heck is she wearing?

  3. N-E-M says:

Her voice is unique, however I don't quite understand the costume…or the hand motions…

Interesting how she is standing in water. Almost reminiscent of Joe McElderry's music video. I wonder if they communicated? πŸ™‚

    Only eleven days!!!

  4. N-E-M says:

I wondered the same thing…just two minutes later!!! πŸ˜‰

  5. Queen C The Gentle says:

Cool but I would also had like to see Peter+Susan in this video.

  6. KingoftheWood says:

I enjoyed the song and movie footage but Holy Cow, why was that woman dressed like that!! If I wasn't already a huge narnia fan, that would have just demoted the movie a notch for me.

  7. Starlily says:

Wow, cool/weird costume that girl has. I kind of like it…especially the headdress…though it's still pretty strange. I like how the set she's standing on changes to water and lilies. I only saw a few new clips, but the one with Lucy and Aslan stuck out for me, even if it's just about two seconds longer than we've seen before.

If "Victoria S." is German, why is she singing in perfect English?

  8. Daniel James says:

I uploaded screenshots of it at goo.gl/lcOJ7. There's a several new shtos!

  9. Daniel James says:

And if you go to Aslan's Country, they've posted about the new Italian version of the song.
It looks to me like all the singers are using the same stage. The stage with the water and lilies. Joe, Victoria, and now the Italian guys.

  10. NewMillenium says:

    Nice clips and singing, BUT…

…that dress is going to haunt me in my nightmares :O

  11. Daniel James says:

Here's the Italian version (you know, I'm not entirely sure it's Italian…it could be French). youtube.com/watch?v=E6fkKFN4LG4

  12. Maria says:

Dress is creepy…but can't wait for the movie to come out πŸ˜€

  13. Queen Elizabeth says:

That was beautiful but she would have looked awesome if she was in a flowy white dress in the water. I think I actually might like this version better than the Carrie one. They were both good.

  14. Queen Elizabeth says:

At the end when Lucy flew into Alsan's mane and hugged him. It finally hit me that they aren't coming back. And it made me really sad.

  15. WarriorOfNarnia says:

    UHHH, fruitcake woman!

  16. decarus says:

That is a great shot when Aslan walks in the mirror.

  17. Lirenel says:

There's a version of this with the same video but with two guys called Sonohra (I like them a bit better than Victoria S.)

  18. aslan'schild says:

ok LOVE the new shots of the ship and lucy and edmund,HATE the music video.what on gods earth was she wearing and the weird hand motions what does that have 2 do with the song.carrie should make her own music video,a more narnia one!!!!!!!

  19. decarus says:

I am still not at all happy with dragon Eustace attacking the sea serpent.

  20. LL says:

    One word…"STRANGE"
    But I love the clips!!!

  21. Pepper Darcy says:

I'm not sure I'm going to watch that vid. I've seen it around before, but it looks SO freaky, and sorta… *ick* *shudders* soooo, I'll just take your word for it… new clips were great! Less than two weeks guys! Can you believe it!! πŸ˜€

  22. The Lady Gag-Me costume is rather disturbing, but she has a cool voice, and as usual the clips stun me!

  23. Pepper Darcy says:

yeah, it really hit me earlier too when i saw that in Carrie's *clip* =)

  24. StephanieTheFaithful says:

Loved the new clips! Not that crazy about the outfit and hand motions and there was some shots that she really scary me but over all I liked the clips, the set, her voice and the song. My guess that her outfit and hand motions are normal over in Germany. Only 12 more days!

  25. Pepper Darcy says:

Um. Wow. I finally saw it. I think the lady just took away all the *innocence* of Narnia πŸ™ *runs of looking pale and disturbed* Lucy looks so tormented in that Mirror scene! Can't wait to see that one! πŸ˜€

  26. I saw it; Sonohra did a pretty good job!!!
So many versions, it would be awesome if Carrie, Joe, Victoria, Sonohra, and even Sreeram Chandra sang the song at the end!!!!!!!

  27. Samuel the Magnificent says:

I like her voice better too.

  28. Samuel the Magnificent says:

Thanks Victoria for being slutty while making a Narnia music video. Her voice is great, but did she really have to act like she was trying to seduce me with her facial expressions?

  29. Pepper Darcy says:

yeah, no kidding, that's what I thought she was doing and I was like 'poor guys watching this film!' but I didn't want to say that on Narniaweb πŸ˜› That's why she took the innocence from Narnia πŸ™

  30. Lucy says:

The new clips are sooo AWESOME LOOKING! (I'm really excited for that "Mirror" scene now, it looks cool). But that singer (though she has a nice voice) should sue whoever picked that outfit out for her. I get that they're trying to do like a fantasy-looking thing, but sheesh-was that giant hoop around that already not so great looking mini dress thingie completely needed? Honestly!

But seriously, the movie itself looks awesome.

  31. simplyphilly says:

Likes: Her shoes, the new shots, & her rings.
Dislikes: Her dress, the set,the way she moves,& how her accent sounds like it's interfering with the vocals.
    Otherwise, it's okay.

  32. Queen Elizabeth says:

I just bought this song!!! Carrie's version.

  33. Believer in His new name says:

Well… I like the footage! And that's just about it. Wait, let me re-phrase, she doesn't have a bad voice, and I kinda like the song, but I don't like her outfit (as someone earlier said Lady Gag-me) or the way she tried to portray the song with her body language. But enough said. 11 more days! πŸ™‚

  34. Josh says:

Why is Victoria's Secret doing a music video for this? It doesnt fit.

  35. Rob W. Case says:

I like Carrie Underwood's version much, much better. This one seemed to lack the spirit and sincerity for me. This woman (and maybe it's the dress and the "seductiveness" she has) reminded me too much of Madonna, as if she was singing the song. The shots were pretty cool though.

  36. FL says:

Don't kill me but…I was strongly reminded of Lucy Westenra in the 1992 Dracula movie when I saw the clip (ya know, the scene when she carries a baby to the grave?)

  37. Daughter_of_Eve18 says:

Oh those crazy Germans πŸ™‚ Always trying to one-up the entertainment industry…they just can't do something "normal"…always having to do it bigger or more loud than the rest of the world πŸ˜› Mostly kidding, of course, but I mean Neuschwanstein castle anyone?? lol Carrie's version seems more about the song and what it represents than Victoria's version, which seems more about herself as a star. Too bad she missed the point!

  38. AslanIsOnTheMove says:

Made the mistake of watching the video and seeing Miss Victoria's outfit. SCARY!!! But I gave the song another chance. This time I didn't watch the video. I just listened so the freaky outfit/ hand motions didn't distract me. She does a good job. I think in someways her voice sounds a little more country than Carrie's, which isn't a bad thing for me, I like some country music. I like Victoria's version, but I like Carrie's better.

  39. Bookwyrm says:

Yeah, I was looking at pics earlier and it hit me when I saw the picture of them stepping into the doorway, leaving Caspian alone with Aslan. I didn't cry, but it was a close thing.

  40. Mayor Wilkins says:

    Thanks. πŸ˜‰
Love the new shot of Sea Serpent and Eustace!
That scene is going to be awesome.

  41. Not Of This World says:

I didn't like the singing or the outfit. nice pics of movie though!

  42. Mayor Wilkins says:

    You've been to Aslan's Country?!
What was it like? Did you see Reep there?
Ha ha. Just kidding around. πŸ˜‰
Thank you for all you do! I really love the extra screen shots. πŸ™‚
Out of all these music videos, I think I actually like Carrie Underwood's best.

  43. Annabeth says:

she looks like a punk version of the white witch…….

  44. Annabeth says:

i think i'm scarred for life…. seriously, what WAS that?!?! my poor mother thought I was going to go insane because i couldn't stop laughing over what she was wearing (and the comment about the Lady-Gag-me coustume….whomever posted that, you are a genuis!)

  45. michalina says:

    Carrie is better!

  46. Pepper Darcy says:

oh, you know what's really bad? I had big, fat baby tears rolling down my cheeks when I saw the clip/scenes at that part. It was so hard seeing Ed crying and Lucy trying to be brave while Aslan's telling them they can't come back and then telling them how he's always with them and they'll meet again. Talk about, despair, comfort, and hope all at once. First time to have tears rolling down at a movie for me!

I think it'll be emotional for a lot of people! Especially sense it's sort of sad for people who read the books too. At least it was for me…

  47. Pepper Darcy says:

I'm more than a fourth German and so ashamed of it after THAT costume πŸ˜›

  48. Daniel James says:

HAHA! That's exactly what I thought as soon as I posted it. But I couldn't delete or edit my post, so I had to leave it like that, lol.
You know, I now can't decide between Carrie and the Italian guys. And there's still for sure Russian and Australian version coming…haha.

  49. Daniel James says:

Or better yet, they could all sing it at the same time.
Haha I'm imaging several singers standing together in that water, dancing and singing There's A Place For Us. hahahahaha

  50. Daniel James says:

Her name is actually Victoria Swarovski. The reason she goes by Victoria S is that she doesn't want people to be prejudiced against her because of her family (her family owns the famous Swarovski Jewelry). I guess she doesn't want people to like her juts because of her family.

~This is what I've heard, I don't know for absolute certaintly if it's the real story.

  51. Embrace says:

Germany rules! The nicest and most beautiful country in the world! Love this song, dress and girl!

  52. WillowofNarnia says:

Wow………that lady needs voice lessons…..and what's up with the costume?

  53. Queen Elizabeth says:

Her voice is more (how do I saw this) pure? Or clean. Like it doesn't have a twang to it.

  54. Narniamaniac says:

I agree, Starlily! She does sound really English. When she said, "There's a place for us", I could hear the accent a little bit, though.

  55. Narniamaniac says:

I think this video is ok. I'd have to say I still like Carrie's version better. I didn't really like her costume or weird hand motions, but her voice was pretty nice. At some points in the song, her voice reminded me of Natasha Bedingfield a little bit.

  56. Adeona says:

Don't forget that first group – umm… EMD, I think.

  57. Josh says:

She must be a dancer from Lady Gaga's music videos…

  58. Lizzie says:

    2:34–Is that Gael?

  59. Scarlet13 says:

I didnt know that Lady Gaga helped make this video?????…
