Harper Collins Completes Full Catalogue Refresh for Narnia’s 75th Anniversary

Narnia publisher Harper Collins has been busy celebrating the 75th Anniversary of ‘The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe’ throughout 2025 by completing a full refresh of its entire Narnia catalogue, and has plans for further in-store promotional events to mark this special occasion over the coming weeks.
The most recent releases, which went on sale in September, include a brand new 75th Anniversary collected edition of ‘The Chronicles of Narnia’ alongside a special 75th Anniversary single edition of ‘The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe’ which we previously reported on back in April.

Whilst these two new 75th Anniversary hardcover editions appear to be exclusive to the European market, the previously announced Deluxe Edition and Slipcase Edition , which release on October 21st and November 11th respectively, appear to be exclusive to the US market.

These new sets are all a part of a larger roll-out of 75th Anniversary Celebrations by Harper Collins which will include special “in-store signage and celebratory merchandising kits” in US book stores from October, with UK book store set to receive “bespoke window displays and Narnia-themed activities” in time for the Autumn.
Previous book releases as part of the 75th Anniversary celebrations included a brand new set of covers by Owen Richardson which were released back in April, and which are available in both hardback and premium paperback.

These striking new cover designs were accompanied by a matching set of Audio Book covers, and were followed shortly after by a new set of trade paperbacks, with updated cover art by Cliff Nielsen.

Both of these two new cover designs were also released as paperback box-sets:

Harper Collins also added two new board books aimed at younger readers to its catalogue this year, with artwork by Joey Chou. These follow on from the board book edition of ‘The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe’ which was released back in 2021.

As part of its 75th Anniversary campaign, Harper Collins also teamed up with the charity ‘Little Free Library’ to provide 25 Narnia themed library boxes to local communities across the USA.
Have you bought any of the new Narnia books yet? Which are your favorite designs?
