The Voyage of the Dawn Treader was really like a breath of fresh air to me. I have to give points to the filmmakers for the special care given to the production of a worthy adaptation of a Narnia story. It sets the stage for further films.
Of course, some peripherals could have been improved, such as the fact that the crew of the Dawn Treader were always in clean, dry clothes (mostly, at least) and hardly ever speak. The family-friendly appeal of the series was punctuated here, however, especially with the array of colors.
I loved the ending, and the care taken to save Aslan's words and the spirit of the movie.
All in all, Voyage was a good family movie. I hope the filmmakers take lessons from all 3 past movies and make something that shows the world what Narnia is made of-- mettle, quality, and life.
