I enjoy hearing your views on these things as always.

  2. Jeremy says:

Thanks Rilian and glumpuddle for the podcast! I agree with your views on the advertising (bad thing) and Caspian's change of accent (great thing). It will be interesting to see in the trailer how much emphasis is put on the new material. Things like "You must find the seven swords to save Narnia, the blue star will be your guide," or "Don't worry little girl, we'll find you parents."
Anyways, I'm sure I'll enjoy seeing some spectacular shots in the trailer, and just maybe catch a glimpse of Eustace.

So good to hear your voices again…as always thank you for sharing your opinions and letting us listen in…thank goodness not to feel like the only narnia-obsessed person in a 50 mile radius for an hour!

P.S. dumb marketing aside, I must admit I didn't much care what they got wrong during the first thrilling moments when I saw the theatre stand-up board. Just seeing the beloved characters again and the Dawn Treader's wheel got my adrenaline pumping in sheer joy, and yes hope (! though Rilian is right about the tagline) because there will be 2 precious new hours soon when I can go back to that country I thought would be left behind with childhood.

  4. Benjamin says:

    Thanks Rilian and glumPuddle!
Thought you both made a lot of sense in what you said!
I voted confusing on the "Opinion Poll" about the white witch, but now that I think about it maybe she will show up in the "Dark Island" as one of their nightmares… Just a thought 🙂

    Thanks Again!

Hope you get your voice back soon Gymfan!

Thank god you got out a new episode before the trailer lol. I was wondering why we haven't heard from you guys in a while. but I was wondering, why did you cut out your discussion on lillandil? (I subscribe through iTunes and it downloaded both versions for me lol)

  6. glumPuddle says:

We messed up and said that Stefia Duncan would be playing Lilliandil. Which is not accurate. She will just be a stand-on.

  7. Leanna (who married Peter) says:

I am so glad Caspian will lose the medterranean accent. It's cute and all but a little much. (Do I get an amen?)
Is Laura Brent still the main actress for Lilliandil?

  8. Leanna (who married Peter) says:

Hey. You might be on to something, bro!

  9. narnia fan 7 says:

Good Podcast Rilian and glumpuddle Thanks I can't what till Thursday! when the trailer.

  10. Roger says:

You seem to have two versions of the podcast. The second one is about four minutes shorter. Any reasons for the change?

  11. Rilian says:

We made a mistake on one portion about Lilliandil and cut it out.

  12. Warrior 4 Jesus says:

Good work guys! Sorry, I couldn't join you. I hope to get my Skype working properly in time to discuss the teaser trailer. Cheers

  13. Warrior 4 Jesus says:

That's actually quite plauisable and it would be the only place I can think of where the White Witch wouldn't seem out of place. Still, I had hoped the Dark Island fears would be more psychological than physical.

  14. ladychristy says:

I thought in the VDT book Lucy saw (in a dream) the white witch at the Dark island as a nightmare. So I'm not so concerned

  15. Sir Jack says:

I hoped you'd say what you thought about ramadus daughters name or more that she now has a name… but anyway.. listening to your thoughts on the news is great fun =)

  16. Narniapinoy says:

If you don't want to be disappointed don't listen to these jinks! -_- These KNOW-IT-ALL guys is good for nothing hahaha! just be grateful there's a movie hahaha.

  17. Bother Eustace says:

Awesome Podcast guys, really enjoyed it. Especially the little bit at the end, when you wrapped up and then realized the Trailer was coming out Thursday… that was hilarious. I can't WAIT for the trailer! I know exactly where I'll be when the teaser comes out… well, i don't know /exactly/, but wherever I am I'll have my laptop open, that's for sure. 😛

  18. daughter of the King says:

Nope. The book never says what Lucy's nightmare was.

  19. Watziznehm says:

Just as long as they don't get one of the characters to actually notice the changed accent. lol A lot of cheesy lines come to mind at this moment!

  20. Countess Shamira says:

    Cheesy? Like what?

  21. Yeah, I'm so glad they're getting rid of the accent. A couple of my family members still impersonate it for a laugh, and neither of them are a Narnianut like me.

  22. Caspian: "Oh dear, these Narnians must have affected my accent, because it's suddenly gone!"
    Reepicheep: "I–AM–A–MOUSE!"

  23. Watziznehm says:

Yeah, or even: Edmond to Lucy: at least he benefited somewhat of us last time we were here.

  24. Rilian says:

We talked about it but that portion got cut out due to an error on our parts. I didn't hate it, but I found it unnecessary. Still, nothing to get hung up over. As for glummy, he pointed out it may be a name for the credits, and she may not be named in the story (like General Ottman).

  25. ladychristy says:

oh that's right they added that in The Radio theater adaption. Sorry!

  26. daughter of the King says:

    Excellent podcast as always!

  27. Daredevil says:

Given that most people don't even know a new Narnia movie is coming out (most people out there thought the franchise died long ago) i dont think the Teaser poster NEEDS to say lots about whats going to be in the movie – it just needs to say that there will be a Narnia movie AT ALL. And a simple image of Aslan does that perfectly.
