Nice song….but what on earth does it have to do with Narnia? O_o

  2. Mayor Wilkins says:

The Sea Serpent battle continues to look AMAZING!!
The Dark Island is going to be my favorite part, I think.
Well, that and Aslan's Country. 😉

  3. Louloudi the Centaur says:

Wow. Love the sea serpent and the dragon. It does look like it could scare children.

  4. Eavis says:

Oh, man! The new shots look great! I couldn't really understand what the guy was going on about, but man! Eustace and RD look better with every new picture/video.

    And only 15 days…

  5. WarriorOfNarnia says:

    AAAAAAHHHHHHH Stupid youtube!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  6. Evan Morgan says:

I agree with checkers. I love the new clips! Eustace fights the sea serpent and gets hurt pretty bad it looks like… D: Lol. Every new thing I saw looked pretty good to me! So excited for the movie! 🙂 🙂 🙂 😀 😀 😀 😀

  7. Starlily says:

I'm not trying to be mean, but I could have done without the guy singing. He's not that bad, I just don't like the song, and I just wanted to see the clips–why do they keep mixing them up with music videos? Some nice shots in there, though. I can't wait to see the transition to Narnia in full, and the Sea Serpent fight. And the Dawn Treader is still looking gorgeous. Only fifteen days left! 🙂

  8. Eavis says:

Something I really don't understand…when Aslan opens the wall of water (good idea, by the way), why is a lone figure shown walking towards it, and then the next shot it's the three kids? Is the first one Caspian? But then why is he standing next to Aslan when the others go through? I'm so confused…thoughts?

  9. QueenLucytheValient says:

Yeah the song really doesn't have anything to do with Narnia, but the new clips are awesome. Does that shot close to the end with the magician look like he is using the force on the mist?

  10. mrs lone says:

i loved the video joe was fantastic nice voice going to watch the film mainley cause joe is singing when it comes out. love it great

  11. NewMillenium says:

This is an excellent music video, but how is it connected to Dawn Treader? Is this song going to be in the movie or on the soundtrack? It doesn't sound like he's singing about Narnia…?

  12. michalina says:

Oh no! This song is terrible!

  13. I uploaded screenshots of all the new clips shown at http://goo.gl/aLaJr (that's a Picasa Web album, and it has all my other Narnia screenshots as well).

It looks awesome! I absolutely can't wait to see the battle between Dragon Eustace and the Sea Serpent!!

  14. Pepper Darcy says:

'i'm gonna run down stop signs'?! Uh… OKAY! Yeah, Aslan, charge down those stop signs, dude! So yeah… Unfortunately, though I think his voice was kinda goofy sometimes, the *song* sounds better than There's a Place for Us though it doesn't fit Narnia either. I'd take that over Carrie's song, but I'd just as soon have neither of them. Please hire Adam Young for Silver Chair! 🙂 Or Enya! 😀

But wow, those clips were awesome!! 😀 I'm so saving the vid to my computer! 😀

  15. Pepper Darcy says:

I was waiting for your comment to show the screenshots! 😀

  16. smu says:

    great loved it

  17. adamie says:

    Cool new shots, bad song.

  18. DearHeart says:

I think this is a great song!! I absolutely love how Joe looked like he was in Narnia. The snow, the waves, the rain. Wow this is a very well put together music video. I have to love it!!

  19. rolacola says:

I thought was about the dark island and how Edmund has the dream and they're in a trance and how it is a struggle to stop the 'enemies' who 'unite' 😛 Maybe? Just an idea.

  20. NarniaChick says:

    This is simply wonderful!

  21. DearHeart says:

I have to agree. I have noticed this several times. I am also wondering why.

  23. Mirima Rosetrader says:

Man! That Sea Serpent is kicking Eustace's butt! Maybe the reason they have to leave Eustace behind is because he can't fly. But what in the world did that song have anything to do with Narnia? I tried to find a significance while listening to the song. But I got nothing. SOOOOOO excited for the movie! Long live Aslan and sail on VDT!!!

  24. Caspian XI says:

Aslan's mane, wow! That was an epic music video!!! I'm even more excited for the movie now!!! 😀 😀 😀

  25. wolfloversk says:

    I feel your pain 🙁

  26. Williammoseleyandskandarcrush! says:

I think its because Aslan gives Caspian the chance to go to our world or stay in Narnia, so Caspian walks forward but then stops and says that he has more work to do in Narnia. Don't you guys remember someone posting that a while back? For some reason, I remember reading that.

  27. caskill says:

trop fort le serpent comment y choppe eustache ,je savais pas qu i mourait comme ça le serpent je pensais qu il allait prendre sa revenche juste apres

  28. Alambil says:

    Song- pretty much hated it.
Movie clips- AWESOME =) 15 days!!!!!
Joe- …. is pretty darn attractive, even if the song WAS bad…. 😉

  29. checkers says:

Yes yes yes!!! Adam Young!!! Yeeeeeeees!!!! 😀

  30. Amelia says:

Wow, what amazing new clips– I loved 'em! Dark Island looks absolutely terrifying and wonderfully done. 🙂 Wow.
Not sure what the song had to do with Narnia, but I did like the effect with the snow, rain, the water filling the room, and stuff.

  31. Kathy says:

Hmmm, I don't really like the song. It's catchy, yes, but it's kind of annoying at the same time (mostly, just his voice sounds a bit too obviously artificial at times). I think I prefer Carrie Underwood's song, and I didn't like that one that much either.

The new clips are great, though! I'm excited to see everything in full 😀

  32. Lirenel says:

    Did…the eighties/early ninties come back and I didn't notice?

  33. NewMillenium says:

Adam Young would be great for Narnia!

  34. checkers says:

Sounds kind of like a love song to me. :/ "Don't say "I love you 'Cause It'll drive me crazy"……Just made me think of a boyfriends/girlfriend type thing. :/

  35. Helena says:

AWWWW litttle Geordie Joe from X Factor!! Nice new clips! 😀

  36. Starlight-Starbright says:

Fair enough……………but it is actually his music video………

  37. Scarlet13 says:

I hope Adam sings for Silver chair!

  38. Scarlet13 says:

    Okay song but…for Narnia???

  39. CEP Paul T says:

Have not seen the movie. Wild guess: eTicket ride back to the ship so King Caspian does not have to row back by himself.

  40. Debbie Canning says:

I really don't know what it is that you guys who don't like the song are listening to. Joe's voice is amazing and the video is fantastic. I would really like to see you people in the UK who have the privilege of having Joe would wake up and make him number one. I have listened to a lot of artists from your country and I haven't heard anyone else who even compares to Joe.

  41. Derek says:

This is the sound of CS Lewis rolling over in his grave..

  42. Pepper Darcy says:

rotfl, you have a hilarious sense of humour! 😀

  43. N-E-M says:

Joe McElderry has a unique voice and I really like the song. Though I must admit that I can't understand why it seems to have romantic implications…

The clips are extremely interesting! Just increasing my excitement to see the movie!! Only 15 more days!

    ~Nothing-Else-Matters

  44. hazel says:

Its Joe's new single and Video, the B side is There's a Place for Us, which is the UK Title Track for Narnia Film. Which is why it has the Narnia theme on the Video.. its Brilliant..

  45. Caspian XI says:

I know some people might disagree with me, but I took a look at the lyrics to see why some of you think it doesn't have anything to do about Narnia. Well, I agree after reading it once. But I know that they made a Narnia music video for that song for a reason, so I kept rereading the lyrics over and over again, and I began thinking that the lyrics are not to be taken *literally*, but a bit *figuratively*.

I think this somewhat has to do with Eustace. Like, for instance, the first few lines of the chorus: "When I see stop signs, I'm gonna run them down; When I see red lights, I'm gonna hit the ground…" I think it's like when Eustace first enters Narnia. He's all… "bad", you know. People tell him to stop doing bad stuff, but Eustace just goes ahead and ignores them, doing it. But then those stuff might get too far, and it goes up to a point were he just HAS to stop, like how his transformation into the dragon is the only way to make him stop.

And then Eustace is going through all this "pain" when he turns into a dragon, with the arm-ring squeezing his arm and all, and then he just can't take it anymore, and he just wants all this to "stop", you know. He wants to "wake up" from what he's become because it's been driving him crazy/mad almost, and only Aslan could help him. And then I read the lyrics again, I don't think this is all a "love song". But that line that says, "Don't you go and cross this line; Don't say I love you, 'Cause that would drive me crazy…" It's like, Eustace is all self-centered and stuff (Aslan's mane, I can't find the right words), and he doesn't understand that Aslan still and forever will care for him and love him. Eustace can't run from himself (Quoting Aslan, "Don't run from who you are"), and he just has to somehow face it and admit what he's become, so therefore he has to ask forgiveness and let Aslan change and heal him.

I'm sorry if this was a little confusing and/or repetitive, but I hope you get the point.

  46. um, I hope this song isn't in the credits…..

wow, epic new footage of Dragon Eustace/sea serpent!!!!! and all the other stuff! it's so so so so so awesome!!!!!!

  47. Haha thanks! I guess that's my official job from now on. 😉

  48. I was thinking the same thing just a couple of days back. Adam Young (Owl City, for those who have no idea what we're talking about) would be awesome for singing Narnia stuff. Plus, that would be a huge publicity bonus. The only reason I heard of the movie "The Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole" was because I heard that Owl City was doing a song for it (both the song and the movie were great, by the way).

  49. Duffleglum says:

Everything is stunning in my mind, except his voice.

That squeaky gay voice does not fit the glory of Narnia at all.

  50. Mirima Rosetrader says:

Oh… Thanks for clearing that up, Caspian XI. I like your interpretation. Thanks 🙂

  51. I was gonna say the same thing…..
    😀

  52. Em says:

The song is okay, but the new footage is spectacular!!! December 10th can't come soon enough!!!

  53. narnian resident says:

wow, i LOVE this music video! it has the best new shots ever!
first of, oh my goodness! that sea serpent just grabbed Dragon Eustace out of the air like a bug! when i saw that i gasped. it nearly scared me. thats going to look so cool on screen!
in that one shot of the kids in Lucy's bedroom it looks like Eustace is freaking out and calling for his mother. he looks great, cant wait to see that scene.
wow! that shot of the sea serpent with its head on fire is amazing! and those on the ship looking on, amazing! i cannot wait to see that battle on screen.
this is a really awesome music video. i love how they incorperate things from the film into the shots of the singer singing, like having it snow at the shot when Lucy's in the room with the book and its snowing, and all the water splashing out and drenching Joe. the ending: amazing!!!

  54. Josie says:

I love this song actually. Joe McElderry has an amazing voice. "There's A Place for Us" is the B side of this track which will be in the credits of the UK release of Narnia. This track "Someone Wake Me Up" is not part of the Narnia movie,I think scenes from the movie where used to keep the Narina theme. But Caspian XI liking your interpretation of how the lyrics could be representing the inner feelings of Eustace and Aslan.

  55. timo says:

Ohhh the shots keep getting better and better!!! Jeez, I'm excited, I thought this film was going to flip, but everything I saw the last few weeks proved me wrong..

  56. aslan4ever says:

la canzone è orribile, io lo odio questo cantante
per fortuna che non verrà cantata nel film.
il video è molto bello … anche se si adattava più
a there is a place for us … almeno centrava
    qualcosa

  57. Belle says:

I like your thinking…It does seem to have a lot of Eustace anyways in the footage.

Over all I really, really liked this music video…Though it took me watching it a couple times to get used to his voice.

  58. aslan4ever says:

the song is horrible, I hate this singer
Luckily that will not be sung in the film.
the video is very nice … although more suited
Is there a place for us to … centered at least
    something

  59. Melis says:

en realidad odio la voz chillona de tipo pero los vídeos están asombrosos y la verdad es que la serpiente marina tendrá el poder de asustar a cualquier niño….la cara de skandar y Georgie de terror
