The Official ‘Dawn Treader’ Mobile Phone Game
So it looks like The Voyage of the Dawn Treader gets a video game after all. Gameloft, in corroboration with Fox Digital Entertainment, has created a game for select cell phones inspired by the movie. The game description reads:
The world of Narnia faces a new threat – and only you can help! Sail into Narnia through your mobile phone and explore the world’s seas and islands! As Caspian, Edmund, or Lucy, you’ll encounter sea monsters and dragons in epic battles. Based on the movie The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, you’ll set sail for the Goldwater Islands and the home of the baffling Dufflepuds. The fate of Narnia depends on you!
You can purchase the game from Gameloft’s website here. Down at the bottom of the page, there is a drop down menu that says “check availability” and that will let you know if your phone will support this game.
If you are not in the US, you can go to Gameloft’s homepage here, select your country from the drop-down menu in the top right corner, and then search for the game from there.

If the film does good…theres no reason why they should not make an actual game based on the film…just like the two previous films…lets hope it does happen 🙂

As awesome as the game looks, it is a little disappointing that we are only 3 weeks away from what we all hope will be the biggest movie of the holiday season, and this is the best (and pretty much only) piece of substantial merchandise we have to admire for it.

i heard that they were going to make a game, but then they canceled it. Hopefully that's not true. I will be very disappointed if there isn't a video game for consoles.

I would totally buy a real video game for both my platforms, if they'd make one…I mean with swordfighting, possible long range attacks for Lucy (Susan's bow and arrow, and perhaps bringing back those flinging daggers) and the possiblity of playing as Dragon Eustace, it doesn't really make sense as to why they wouldn't. Even people who don't go see the movie, would play the game as it's Narnia. I don't have a cool enough to even play this thingamabob.
