‘Voyage’ B-Roll: Behind-the-Scenes Footage

Trailer Addict has added several minutes of B-roll from the set of The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. This is basically raw, unedited footage that will be used for future behind-the-scenes features, especially the DVD. This is a rare chance to get an uninterrupted look at the filming of a shot. Some of the highlights include a peek at the bedroom being flooded with water, and Georgie’s reaction to the fake snowflakes while filming the Magician’s Book scene. Avoiding Spoilers! I want to watch it so bad!

    second comment

I loved Georgie's reaction to the snowflakes after the director yells "cut". She really got into it. These are full of spoilers. For those of you that are avoiding spoilers, I recommend that you watch these after you see the movie. Some were interesting. In some places the music gets in the way. I love seeing how films are made.

These are cool! I love to see behind the scenes stuff.
I know all actors have to do this, but I think it'd be soooo hard to act naturally in a scene in front of all those people. It would be so weird!

  6. rmm413 says:

This is great. I hope they have more of this sort of stuff on the DVD extras.

  7. Louloudi the Centaur says:

That sword fight is very intense looking. I wonder what is going on.

  8. decarus says:

I love b rolls. I never saw these for any of the other films.

    AMAZING!

These behind-the-scene clips were awesome!! I loved the part were the room is flooded. Liam Neeson's lines made me cry. I know I'm going to be sobbing like a baby when I see this Friday.

they have backround music!!! how cool! 😀
haha i absolutely loved Georgie's reaction to the snow. i smiled so big when she was like "wow! that is so cool!" i loved these videos

  12. Mina says:

So I only watched the first clip of the first tape, but he did not say "High King and Queen of Narnia" did he?

  13. NewMillenium says:

Uh oh, Ben said "High king and queen of Narnia"… 🙁

  14. Lucy the Valiant says:

I kind of think they did the same thing with this shot that they did in Wardrobe – where she didn't know what it was going to look like until they were filming. I think that's why she reacted the way she did 🙂

  15. narniafreak13 says:

I couldn't not watch! Now I'm really mad at myself because I spoiled some of the movie for myself. I was too tempted! But aside from the fact that they were spoilers, they looked okay. Although, it looks like Edmund was using his torch again. It's not in the book! Aaaaaaaaaaah! Why must they change these things?

  16. Lucy Helen Ycul says:

I can't believe that Ben says High King and Queen of Narnia because Edmund is NOT High King, Peter is. But I did love see the room flood scenes, Georgie's reaction to the snow and Liam Neeson's lines. I'm definetly going to be crying during this movie.

  17. Eavis says:

No. He said "King Edmund the Just and Queen Lucy the Valiant.

  18. narnian resident says:

oh oh my favorite is all the shots of Liam and Simon voice acting for their characters! Liam's voice…..so heavenly! so Aslan 😀 and the music is so gorgeous during those parts!! if thats music from the soundtrack (which it most likely is) then im really excited to hear it on film!

  19. narnian resident says:

and hearing Simon's voice, i like it SO much better for Reepicheep than Eddie Izzard. it really sounds now like he's a mouse, but it still has that gallant and fiesty tone to it, just what i imagined for Reep. im now wishing they had had Simon do Reep in Prince Caspian. *sigh* oh well, i shall enjoy Reepicheep even more in this film then 🙂

  20. Mina says:

The only explanation is that Edmund inherits the title or they have crappy writers. Poor Ben, I think we're going to have to get him for it.

  21. A daughter of Eve says:

I just love Aslan`s voice … so deep, so heavenly, so …
    …Liam is the best!

  22. Mina says:

I meant after that. He definitely HIGH King and Queen of Narnia.
I guess that really is the track on the score. I remember we all wanted it to be about Peter and Susan…darn.

  23. Fire Fairy says:

That is really interesting. I love behind-the-scenes stuff, since I am a big fan of filmmaking and all that. I never would have thought that the flooding of the bedroom was done by lowering the room into a tank. I would have thought only of filling up a room with water. Very interesting! Love Georgie's reaction to the snow, acted and real. I'm afraid Ben really did say "High King and Queen", but that doesn't mean it'll end up in the film. It could have been edited out *crosses fingers*. (As you can tell, I'm trying to be really optimistic). Hope we get more of this on the DVD!!

  24. Knight of the Prince says:

Yeah, I think it would be easier to react if you hadn't see it yet. I really like the snow seen (I wonder why she was rubbing her eyes so much before that seen) and the bedroom one and the sword fight too. Can't wait till it comes out!!5 more days!!

  25. Mina says:

After listening to it a couple times, he does say it after he annouces their titles. Maybe they cut off High, but I doubt it as there's a track on the score called High King and Queen of Narnia. They cut the High off in the trailers though.

  26. TumnusTheBrave says:

can i please get i different link please

  27. kirsta says:

Now THAT is what I call behind the scenes footage! I loved it!

  28. NarnianRailway says:

I love Aslan and Liam Neeson is perfect for the role. But I had to laugh watching Liam Neeson wearing that baseball cap while recording the lines. I kept imagining Aslan wearing a baseball cap.
Footage of Georgie Henley reading the magic book was awesome.
Loved seeing all the work involved in filming a magnificent adventure.

  29. Queen Elizabeth says:

"WOW! That was COOL!" I love how they didn't show Georgie the room until right when they filmed, just like they never showed her Narnia in LWW until it was time to shoot, so she would act really surprised.

  30. Queen Elizabeth says:

Are these are are more clips of what we've already seen.
